We stopped in at The Cat's Meow with a group of girlfriends on a day out. The lady there, Joy, was A+ and the place was very neat and clean. They did a good job at having 100's of things to shop! We all found something to take home! I even found a cut Christmas cat music box to take home! The prices seemed to be good for what we were buying. This is such an adorable shop! There are cute trinkets everywhere, we were there for about 20 minutes and probably didn't see it all. My oldest kiddo and I LOVE kitty trinkets and boy did we find a bunch! Some stuff seemed pricey, but I'm not an expert in thrift finds and goods. We bought a few things and I get tons of compliments when guest see them. The staff is also amazing! We had two small kids with us who were pretty well behaved, but excited. They were kind to the kids and us and did not make us feel unwelcome at all! We will definitely be back in next time we visit the city! read more

Boooooo! I stopped into the Cat's Meow while shopping in Poulsbo and after browsing around, found a neat old photograph post-card of the Olympic Peninsula and asked the store clerk to open a case. After handing her my credit card, she looked at my name and said flatly,"Long name," as though I had a contagious disease. Who says crap like that to a customer? The store itself had tons and tons of little items & tchotchkes, some of which were kinda cute, but they weren't well organized at all. I'm guessing the store rents out space for individual sellers since the items were all so unrelated. Felt a little schizophrenic with the front of the store highlighting weird gnome things, the middle of the store selling sports gear, kitchen items, other randomness, and the back room displaying religious pictures. Walking along Front Street I was drawn into Cat's Meow by the largest collection of Jim Shore figurines I've ever seen. I didn't even realize this was an antique store until I made it past the Jim Shore displays. Once inside we found a maze of different cubbies of antiques of all shapes and sizes. We found several treasures we couldn't live without for ourselves as well as treasures for upcoming Christmas gifts. If I didn't live so far away and have to ship stuff back I would have bought LOTS MORE! What a great find! I'd love to go back here again! read more

We have visited Poulsbo for over eight years and no visit would be complete without walking through the doors of The Cat's Meow. Our daughter is a collector of vintage cameras and she always comes away with a great find. She loves bargaining with Joy who remembers her from year to year. Cats Meow is a small store that sells mostly antiques, but some "vintage" stuff and some that is newer. Mostly tchotchkes and the like. It is one of those stores where different sellers rent out small areas of the store to sell their antiques. Because of this there is a wide variety in quality, type, and price of goods, but there will most likely be something for everyone here. This is a fun place to shop, but the reason I wanted to write my review was that the owner was just so, so nice to my daughter. I don't really want to say what she did that was so amazingly nice, because to be honest if I wrote it here you wouldn't believe it. I wouldn't believe it if I read it in a review. But please know that this is a place that really cares about their customers. I will definitely be back next time we are in Poulsbo. read more

Love Cat's Meow! I visit this little treasure every time I pass through Poulsbo. There truly is something for everyone in this shop. I'm personally drawn to a cubby that always has wonderful pictures and is bursting with books of all kinds and of course love the big case up front full of fantastic jewelry. Make sure you stop next door at JJ's Fish House for lunch or dinner......the fish and chips are yummy and the citrus salad is to die for! read more

I have shopped here for over three years and I love this shop they have a large selection of interesting vintage and antique items and the owners are helpful and will go out of their way to find specific items you are looking for.. If you are collector or just looking for a gift this is a great shop. Lots of vintage jewelry,antique pottery and vintage garden ware, I found two antique paintings of coy in water which fit right in to my water theme in my hallway in my cottage..If you are visiting Poulsbo Wa visit this little gem of a shop. read more
