This makes her a great fit for people with chronic pain, pregnant women, and others who need less of a normal relaxation massage and those who need more restorative care. The massage was professional and he asked me in full detail if I had injuries or specific places that I would want him to work on. He was gentle but was firm with some of the places that had knots. He focused on my injured knee and my neck and honestly, did a better job then many ppl. He has a great understanding of the mechanics of the body and did not force you to move in ways that would hurt you. All in all, after the massage, I felt relaxed, refreshed and rejuvenated. He found the knot of hurt in my shoulder blade area and approached it a number of ways to loosen its hold on me. Months of sweet relief. I would have gone back to Alex when the pain came back a few months later, but I live in Riverdale. I tried CBD oil and that helped to bring me to 90% pain free. Now, back in Hunter, NY for vacation I scheduled a myofascial massage with Alex. He remembered me from the year before and the treatment the other day left me a little sore (totally expected and normal) and this morning I woke up so limber and relaxed for yoga class. I plan to schedule another session before heading back to the city because he is likely the best therapist I've ever had.
