Also the kid that built my sandwich and rang me up was super cool and positive. It was obvious that he was happy to be working there .

I was seated in plain sight....easily visible to all five of the young waitresses working that evening. Over the next several minutes, I watched them serve food, refill waters, and check in with other tables around me. Not once did any of them acknowledge me. No "someone will be right with you," no "we're a little behind," not even eye contact or a smile. Nothing. It was as if I was completely invisible. I gave them the benefit of the doubt...maybe they were overwhelmed or distracted. So I waited. But then, three of them gathered behind the bar to chat and regroup. They saw me sitting there and even asked each other out loud, "Has anyone helped that table?" They looked confused, shrugged it off, and went right back to their conversation. Still, no one came over. No one claimed responsibility. I didn't even get a glass of water. I sat there for nearly 10 minutes. Not a word. Not a glance. I finally got up and calmly walked out. Several nearby guests actually gave me sympathetic looks--they could see what was happening too. And here's the kicker: I had plenty of time to look through the menu, and honestly, the prices felt a bit high for what was being offered. Nothing jumped out or made me eager to order. Maybe that was because I was starting to feel dehydrated from the lack of water. For the record, I'm just an average guy, clean and respectful, fresh out of the shower with a spray of cologne. I wasn't rude, disruptive, or hard to miss. Bottom line: I felt completely dismissed and ignored. I won't be coming back. Best of luck to the team--I hope service improves for future guests

I always get the biscuits and gravy and add something else like eggs and hash browns. I noticed today they have the Biscuit Barge which includes biscuits and gravy, hash browns, a sausage patty and two scrambled eggs and was perfect! The gravy is creamy and savory and the hash browns just the right amount of crisp. Combined with two scrambled eggs and fresh biscuits and you got yourself a meal. The ambiance is what you would expect from a small town diner, including warm hospitality and a slew of regulars filling the room with tales of the simple life, clanging dishes, and laughter. Final comments include the excellent service received. Three servers worked the room, like they were working, a cattle drive or something, each covering the other, anticipating the need for coffee refresh, and while doing this clearly having a good time. Highly recommend Sonny's and look forward to coming back, and perhaps branching off of my standard biscuits and gravy and venturing into one of the delicious looking omelettes or one of the Mexican breakfast offerings.

His blizzard was so small as a medium it was not worth the money we paid. Total for a "medium" blizzard and small dipped cone was almost $10 bucks. We got the Ranch breakfast and Spanish hash browns with pancakes on the side. The eggs fresh, cooked like I wanted, bacon was crisp, toast toasted, and hash browns golden crispy on the outside and soft and delicate on the inside. Pretty good meal! I found the Spanish hash browns to have good flavor but a little lacking in portion size. The pancakes were a nice compliment to the meal. We are definitely coming back, confident the overall service will only get better, and with the hope that biscuits and gravy will someday be in our future. Keep up the good work team, you're on to something good here!
