Manager messed up pricing, charging me 80$ OVER the price I was quoted (quote included tax and all fees) when I brought this to her attention she blamed it on someone else and wanted me to pay the 80$ above the price because she "doesn't know who quoted me or why I was quoted the price I was quoted" and I said....I wouldn't have gotten the service if I would have known the price was this much..she didn't care and even consulted the owner, he rolled his eyes about it and then she ended up giving me the 80$ off like the salon had promised before hand. Not. Going. Back. The workplace is toxic as well and I definitely wouldn't recommend any services from catwalk to my worst enemy. Had a marvelous pedicure performed by Kim. Oh , that wonderful dremel tool on my dry heels left them luscious and soft. I never had a moment of discomfort. It's an upscale treatment, and for me a "treat". Cost is the high but you do get what you pay for in service. The closeness to other clients and the fact i had to scooch up with a pillow behind my back despite being 5'5" were reasons for only 4 stars. But Kim's massage went a long way toward reparation of these defects. Love kitty too. read more

Amazing people, amazing service. Took my daughter there for her birthday . Everything was wonderfully done. We didn't finish till late on a Saturday and it wasnt till we got to dinner after they closed, when we realized she forgot her purse. I contacted the staff via Facebook and they were most accommodating. They made arrangements to meet us after hours to retrieve the purse. Definitely a place I will go back to for the service alone. My pedicure was pretty good, the service was amazing and they came out fine. But when I went in to get my eyebrows done I was SO disappointed. She didn't even ask what I wanted and totally messed them up. She did it so fast, it seemed like she wasn't paying attention. Definitely not going back. read more

My brother and I bought my mom a gift card to get her hair cut and coloured. For her birthday. My brother and I were so excited that our mom would get pampered and be able to enjoy herself for the day. However, I received messages from her saying the customer service wasn't good at all. The individual whom was doing her hair gave lots of attitude, was preoccupied with other things (not work related). Left my mom in foils for an extremely long time. I felt so awful and embarrassed we chose cat walk for my moms birthday gift. 150$ later and she didn't enjoy herself. Very unimpressed. read more

Less experienced and unskilled stylists.i went for chichi hair straightening.They spoiled my hair,instead of straight hair it became extra frizzy and fully damaged.After each wash I noticed my hair getting worse.please make sure,not to go there for this treatment.i had done this before in a different salon and it stayed good for nearly two years. I went in for a colour correction and was not given any hint of the price until I was all done and went to pay (I didn't ask, but for what it was I should have been warned!) over $500! Whether the price was justified or not, I would never go back due to not being given any idea before or during my apointment that it was going to cost so much (and knowing I was a student!) Normally I wouldn't even have that much in my bank account. I'm also not completely satisfied with how it turned out, I would expect much better for $500. read more

I may not be a demanding customer, but I have to say that I don't usually like to pay too much for a hair cut and style. I have been a client of Stephanie's for quite a few years and had followed her to Catwalk Salon. I had never before even thought of going to that Salon. I continue to go to Catwalk BEACUSE of Stephanie, she takes her clients wishes to heart. She always does her best and if you are not satisfied, she will do her best to do what you want. Steph also is honest, if something is not going to work for your hair type, she will let you know. I appreciate that. My experience here was pleasant in terms of how of I was treated and the atmosphere, but my haircut was horrible. I had a girl named Stephanie, who is a nice lady. But I don't think she really cared about my hair cut. I will say up front that I was a demanding customer; Im a dude who likes short hair but I don't like the use of clippers. For my hair to look really good I need mulitple passes with scissors to get the hair to lay down right. My biggest need-which I stated clearly several times- was to have a hair do that I would not need to touch. Im a guy, I have short hair, I want to be able to wake up and go. Either its a cut that always looks good or looks good messy. I don't do gel or product or any of that crap. Stephanie clearly new that the haircut wasn't gonna be what I wanted methinks. I don't cut hair though, so I can't predict how it will look outside of the salon. I will say the haircut was way cheap at 26 bucks compared to the 75 i am used to paying. However you get what you pay for. The next morning I looked like a clown. my hair afro-ed out all along the sides but not a top. And because the poofy part was the short part, nothing would get it lay down without taking a shower and carefully drying it. Don't get wrong people- I am a clean person who showers often, but I don't want to have to take a shower for my hair to not be embarrassing. The next day I went to a different place in town called the Cutting Company. I explained the situation to the lady there named Mary-ann and she totally got what I was after. She analyzed my hair and pointed out that it was twice as long on my right side as my left, and that the texturing was totally hap hazard. She fixed me all up and I am very happy with the cut now. But I had to pay for two to get it. The ONE GREAT THING about Catwalk is the receptionist. She was so friendly, kind, and accommodating. A great talker, very professional. I would never go there for a hair cut again but I would totally meet the receptionist for drinks! read more

My wife did hair straightening by paying $100 per hour and it took almost 5 hours!.It was fine at that particular moment.After two days she looked more like a clown!.She paid and did straightening treatment but instead of being straight her hair became curly and frizzy. I went to the catwalk salon in May of 2011. I went to get my legs waxed for my wedding. The aesthetician was nice enough, and the inside of the salon was also clean enough. The actual leg wax was the worst i have ever had! She broke about 70% of the hairs so that they grew back 2 days later. About 10 % wasn't even pulled and I went home and tweezed. It was the biggest disappointment I have ever had getting a salon service done. Not to mention I had to shave the morning of my wedding and every day of my honeymoon. I trusted them for one of the most important events in my life and was severly disappointed. I would not go back there ever! read more
