This has been to the only place I've visited that's an actual ranch and has staff that actual care. The animals love people and you can tell they're well kept and excited to meet humans! We had so much fun feeding the babies, brushing diamond the highland, kissing waffles, toast and hash brown and just being animal lovers. The owner was exceptional and didn't rush us, answered questions and helped us with anything we needed. Will go again 90 times.

There was some ac indoors and indoor bathrooms available too. We didn't get to check out the other side and stage though. Just stayed at main stage. It did get hot later on the more packed it got. The main issue was the poor planning by Insomniac resulting in many waiting outside in line in the heat for hours just to get in. I would have passed out. We were at the back of the line for about 30 mins. Luckily, one in our group managed to get right up near the front just before security check so we all joined him. I think it took us an hour total to get in from when we were dropped off. Insomniac did offer a full refund or tickets to a future festival! I opted for the full refund. The wait for the rideshare leaving the event was horrible. We had one that took forever to get there and then when they were almost there, the ride canceled. It took forever to get another.

I only won race 2 putting horse number 8, Dos Special Eye8Mark A. Jasso | Alex Garcia. With $2 to bet to win I won $15.80 haha! Betting on the horses using the trifecta way was very difficult and costly. You can go to the machines to bet where you'll get the change on a betting ticket to use as your money. Or you can use the cashiers to place your bets. We tried the bowl of beef chili (which was more like paste consistency rather than soup so we ate these with some of our nacho chips), nachos and chips with salsa and guacamole. Tables are very minimal and space is tight. Most are 4 chairs to a table. Our server was very friendly and attentive. There were mostly adults and few kids that attended today's event. This is wheelchair friendly too. Great for large groups as long as you reserve to have a bunch of tables near each other. I would come back again!

Attendees enjoyed their glass of wine while looking at art. There were familiar and new artists showing their creative makings. There's always an assortment of art to enjoy. Some food trucks are available. Many have samples in the hopes of enticing you to buy their product. The stores in Carefree were also open. I visited a few while there at the show. An excellent show as always. $5 entry fee and free for residents. Additional fee for wine plus glass. Shared and street parking.

This is a self-guided museum with informational plaques for every exhibit. The museum itself is on the smaller side, so if you just breeze through without reading anything you could probably finish in 15 minutes... but that would completely miss the point. The real fun is learning the history behind each car, trophy, and piece of racing memorabilia on display. Most of the vehicles are IndyCar and NASCAR race cars, along with a few pace cars. The museum has two levels: downstairs features the full-size cars, while upstairs has trophies, scale models, and other memorabilia. There's also a small cafe upstairs that serves food. I tried the chicken tenders and fries, which came out piping hot and were surprisingly delicious. Even if you're not a huge car enthusiast or racing fan, this place is absolutely worth checking out.

This is great fun for all the family or for foodies looking for an event that has free parking and entry.

This year it was at Westworld in Scottsdale. Part of the event is outdoors and part of it is indoors, which made for a nice afternoon. The men, women, and children who dress the part in old western wear makes this event really worth going to! They offer a best costume in various areas such as lawman, cowboy, cowgirl, salon woman, society man/woman, etc. It is really a delight to see. There are booths that cater to collectors of old and modern western wear, antique guns, skins and various collectibles. The Chuck Wagon Cook-off goes over well and some of that food is lip smacking good if you can get it, it goes fast! There are several food vendors in a separate area that cook all day so there is always something available to chow down on, so fear not. The event really does a good job of providing family entertainment for a whole family young and old. There are western writers tables with authors there to talk to and sign books for adults and children titles, There are other western theme film/tv celebrities also scheduled and music entertainment at the indoor section. The shopping is great from home decor, jewelry, clothing, artwork, log home & ranch property sales. Don't miss the gunfight (outdoors), the horse events, the mountain men & cowboy poetry, the buffalo soldiers table and tepee displays that you can walk into or even buy! We stayed 5 hours maybe longer and I was never bored or looked at the time. The crowd was a good size for the location and it never felt to crowded. Seeing the gunfight was not so easy unless you're up front, but they do multiple shows a day so you can plan your time to get up close for one of the shows if you desire. General Admission Tickets were $14 or $13 w/ a dollar off coupon (availablen on fliers or on-line) for adult entry, Less money for seniors and kids. There was history to be learned and a huge amount of topics to interest you. Oh and they had train rides and a kiddie play area to burn off pent up energy of the littler ones. We had a great time! My only complaint was that the website gives you no idea of the times or days certain celebrities appear beforehand and also that they charge you for the program of events and after you arrive within the gates. So some stuff you may want to see you have no idea what days or times to attend in advance. But for the money it was far better than a movie.
