I decided to stop by this store on a busy Saturday afternoon and I was pleasantly surprised about how big and organized this place was. It was my first time there. I walked to the boots and was greeted a on my way there. Once I started trying on boots I had a gentleman with a beard and Thor's hammer necklace help me out. He was very knowledgeable and helped me get the right boot picked out for me. I saw the other reviews on here about the customer service. Got a pair of Cinch jeans as a gift. They were purchased on the website. Go in to exchange them for the correct size, was told I would only get $10 credit for a $50 pair of jeans. Supposedly they were clearanced years ago but were purchased within the last 30 days on the website. read more

Walked in today to find a hat and walked out in less than 2 minutes. The girls who work there act as if they are super inconvenienced to help you. I realize I don't look like a "country" girl, but was ready to spend money. Left the store empty handed and ordered my hat off amazon for less than the store was charging. I went into the store to buy a belt and as soon as I walked in the door one of the workers looked me in the eye. I said Hello, but this worker never even acknowledged me, and just turned his head away from me and walked past me as if I was both invisible and inaudible. I turned around and walked out. Visited the store on a Wednesday with my wife, I did have to ask for help but after that the staff was very helpful. Rusty helped my wife with a boot purchase and a Hat for myself. The other staff helped with varying purchases, they were all friendly and helpful. I bought a Resistol straw hat but they didn't have the correct size in any of the felt hats, I wear a 7 3/4 but none were available at any price point. read more

Outstanding customer service. A great gal (forgot her name) helped fit my 4 and 5 year old daughter's boots, which they loved. A gentlemen named Wilson helped me into my first pair of cowboy boots without trying to sell me boots out of my price range. A nice interior space, and easy to navigate floor plan. It's been here for years and I finally got around to stopping in and checking it out. We got a greeting right when we came in and one of the ladies asked if we needed help. It was nice to be acknowledged as soon as we stepped in. The service continued while we browsed no less than 4 separate times by multiple floor associates. The selection of boots is fairly large and I had stopped in to try and find something for myself. You name it they probably carry it. Rhinestones? Check. Thick cut leather? Check. Thin "fashion" boots? Check. Teeny tiny infant sized? Check. Camo? Bless your heart, hell yes. To round it off they have a good selection of shirts, pants, kids wear, jewelry, gifts, leather accessories and a perfume and candle stand. I spent $861.61 on the 23rd of December when I went to exchange one of the three pair of boots I bought today and ask for my mail in rebate which was never given today I was greeted with eye rolls and we threw them away. Not only did these girls act like they had better things to day but they were completely rude!! Wouldn't waste my money in there they do not appreciate your business. I am from out of town and was so excited to go to this store. It was the worst customer service I have ever seen in a retail store. The girls in there are rude and act like it is an inconvenience to help you or even check you out. Haden was sweet and tried to make up for all the girls attitudes. The other customers in line were all talking about how rude the ladies were to them as well. Management needs to fire these ladies with a chip on their shoulders and bring in a new crew! Great place if you like rude staff and management that doesn't honor it's own sale ads. I have been to 6 different cavenders store in Texas and two more in other states and have the same opinion about all of them. If you feel like spending 15 minutes being treated like a thief and being insulted by salespeople that are only helpful when it comes time to write a sales slip so they get a commission then this is the place for you read more
