So I have got to say that my husband has been looking for me a pair Caiman Belly womens boots. I got my first and only pair at Cavender's in Monroe, La but they no longer carry them. No where between here and Monroe could we find a pair UNTIL we came to your store #61. the crazy thing is even tho they didn't have them Layton and a super cute female (I am so sorry her name escapes me.... Layton would know) found me a pair in Ruston, La. We had called western stores all the way to Dallas with NO results. Layton went and got The Sweet one and she got on her phone and bAM it was done. Just letting you know how these employees shined today and are above and beyond that of AnY Cavender's (especially a Monroe La"s store ) customer service reps THANK GOD there is still TOP NOtCH customer reps!!!! This place is great! The staff was so friendly and help me get a hat picked out for my giant head to go to the rodeo. The two times I had to visit someone greeted me and offered to help me! I tried boot barn down the road and no one even looked at me the whole time when I obviously wanted help. Go to Cavenders!! read more

Scooting around the city, filled with nervous energy and anticipation in the hours before the LSU-Alabama kickoff, I decided to wheel into this store for a little down home comfort and soothing. I've been wanting to get a good pair of cowboy boots for some time, it used to be all I'd wear (footwear wise-Hey! Don't go there! I'm not Magic Mike or nothing!) So, upon entering this brand new store, my nostrils were tickled with the luring scent of new leather and my eyes were treated to the gentle stream-like twinkle of shiny, brand new, gigantic rodeo-style belt buckles, glimmering in their showcase. I wandered the store freely trying to rid myself of the fear of the oncoming butt kicking the Tigers may face at the bejeweled hands of the Crimson Tide down in our very own Baton Rouge. The occasional sales person approached me, friendly, and breaking me of my purple and gold daze. I tried on a few pair of boots, but cringed at some of the prices, north of $150, and for nothing but cowhide. They look nice and were very comfortable, but a wee bit pricey for me. Guess I'm old school like that. I did find some nice cowhides on sale for $130 pre tax. My time here was limited as I still had to swing by and get a couple of pizzas and a muffaletta from Johnny's before heading home to have my heart eventually broken, my system shocked and my emotions all twisted by the sudden and abrupt ending to the Tigers and Tide 2012 contest...I will be back to Cavender's once they have a decent and proper sale. I love this place. Everyone is so friendly and nice. My cousin and I were in town for family, (I live near San Francisco, and she lives on the coast in New Jersey.) We decided we wanted to go to the western store. They had the coolest embroidered women's shirts, so I got a few, and my cousin got cowboy boots. The manager, Robert, was the best. All of the girls who helped us ruled. I would definitely go back, and I will if I am in town again. read more
