This store is awesome! We went there to look for some boots for my husband and we took our dog in with us. The employees were SO NICE! They all stopped and talked to our dog. Nothing says 'country and western' quite like P.F.I. - America's Western Store. I don't know why but, whenever I go home, I always seem to end up at this huge shop for a short period of time. This time, it was because one of my friends (who's cowboy crazy) just had a baby so I had to find her some authentic cowboy garb to dress her lil one in. I found a 5-piece set that she and her hubby loved... job complete. I got serious brownie points for that! The only problem with P.F.I... other than having almost nothing that a normal, non-country person would wear... is that they're so DARN expensive. I found a hot pair of boots there once that were 'on sale' for 529$. Needless to say, I didn't get them. Then while looking for baby clothes, I refused to pay 15$ for ONE toddler Wrangler T-SHIRT... come'on... really?! And also, my 5-piece set only had 4 pieces on it when I got out here... I know, if I hadn't been in a hurry I'd have seen that but before check-out, it was still a disappointment. Anyway, I'll probably still be back. We have been shopping here for years. Our kids own boots and hats from here and so do we!!! I've never met anyone else at any other facility similar to theirs that has positive vibes, love for their customers and enjoys seeing little kids coming and getting their first pair like they do here. We will be going there soon to get some more boots and jeans for my wife for her job but we love them! Pfi and their employees need to know we love them and all they have done! UPDATE: 11/29/21. Just received my boots that I ordered as a Xmas gift. I was very excited to get these from this company because of so many great reviews. However, I did drop my rating score from 5 to 2 because when I got the boots late last night, they were just thrown in the box and they were tried on. The stuffings were out of the boots, tags torn off, and the paper was all underneath the boots. This may sound petty to some, but I am OCD about spending money on clothing or shoes that someone else has tried on. I refuse to buy anything that someone else has tried on as I am paying good money, and I want my items fresh and unopened. I am very disappointed in the manner in which I received my order and if I had the means to send these back I would. I am very upset about this because I thought this company took better pride in its services. I was really hoping for a better outcome. I dont have the money to send these back, so I will probably have to donate them, after making the last 3 payments on them, (yes, making payments through sezzle) as I will not be giving these to my daughter as a Xmas gift looking this way. From the looks of it, only 1 boot has been tried on, but the pic below is how I received my order. (other boot removed as it was untouched). This is my very FIRST order with this business, and unfortunately, it will be my last. I am really saddened about this. I dont think I will buy again. read more

I was looking for a couple pairs of jeans. i found a pair that i tried on but they didn't fit. a staff member named Greyson (i'm sure i spelt that wrong) saw what jeans they were and brought me a pair similar to them. my mom was waiting for me to finish trying jeans on and greyson carried on a conversation with her until i was finished and then she talked to me about school and such. she was very helpful and let us know that if we needed anything, she was the one to find. i'm beyond happy read more

We stopped here to find some cowboy boots for our three year old grand daughter. We found those and more! We had two other kiddos who really aren't into cowboy things but our grandson with special needs found a small school bus he had to have and another grandson a stuffed dog! The staff were friendly and made all of us feel welcome from the minute we walked in the door. The prices were really competitive with other western stores and it was well organized. Parking and access from the highway was easy. If I were to return to Springfield I would go out of my way to visit this store again. They have all kinds of western wear to satisfy the toughest western wear critic! read more

PFI has a huge selection of boots in most price ranges. If they're having a sale you can get a pair of Justin's for $100, but you can also spend up to $800 or more on the specialty ones. The older staff is usually very nice, but anyone under 30 I've dealt with can be very snobby and make spending a couple hundred bucks kinda miserable. Be sure to check out the little alcohol corner- they almost always have samples! read more

You will not find better customer service anywhere else PERIOD. I went to buy a new pair of jeans, I am a lifetime Levi wearer and wanted to try the wranglers. A young woman by the name of Michelle (I think it was Michelle) helped me and answered every question. She was extremely knowledgeable and when trying on the jeans in the dressing room she got me different types and sizes so I had the perfect fit. I then waltzed my way to the boot section and was talking to an associate about a new pair of boots I purchased that were hurting my feet at work. He showed me all of the work boots and they were unfortunately out of my price range. He then went on to ask me more questions about the discomfort. We ended up cutting a part of my sole out to allow my foot to have more room in the tip, which immediately made my feet feel better. He did not ask me to purchase anything one time, he was simply there to help the best he could. PFI made my day. read more

I purchased a Vest from PFI on December 24, 2019. When it arrived I found the inside had been stitched over the insulation, with insulation protruding outside the stitches. Also the inside of the collar was likewise stitched over the insulation, which had some protruding. I returned by Priority Mail on the 26th, Called them on January 8th, they said the refund would be processed today. They will refund the purchase price and the tax, but the original $10.95 shipping and the $9.45 postage I had to pay to return it, will not be refunded. In essence, they sent me some poorly made Chinese junk that was flawed and it cost me $20.40 to find out that they have insincere return policies. Don't believe the paid for, hypocritical reviews for this company. They are junk selling hucksters. I will NEVER buy anything there and recommend likewise to the public. I was a victim taken for $20.40 for purchasing a cheaply made product from a company with questionable return policies. read more
