I have been desperately trying to figure out the pain in my kiddos feet. We have done telehealth, tried many many shoes on Amazon and I very desperately needed definitive answers on her size and her feet issues since she plays multiple sports. Enter foot heaven aka Fleet feet. This franchise is well trusted, a family friend growing up on the west coast had a franchise and their a shoes and service were top of the line, the Nordstrom of sport shoes one might say. Even though it was a busy Saturday in knew a stop in Fleet feet would calm my frustration and help me learn how to stop having to rub angry feet at the end of the day. Wyatt helped us sign in and very quickly an angel named Mallory started to help us. We got a 3d scan of my kiddos feet, amazing insole suggestion and my kid smiled and stopped complaining about her feet ! It is a minor miracle ! Brick and mortar stores like this one are a gem, online can't do anything I witnessed in this store and I am done buying and returning Amazon mishaps. I think our whole family needs shoes from here and I will be telling everyone about how impressed I am with Mallory and Fleet feet. read more

I'm an ultra runner, I average between 75-125 miles per week, depending on where I'm at in my training. I tend to avoid Fleet Feet for a myriad of reasons, price, the people and their poor selection. First, the price: Their prices are jacked up so high for absolutely no good reason except greed. I know the market, and they're so blown out of proportion, it's nauseating. Then there's the service: What a terrible, arrogant, condescending group of under educated nincompoops! They're completely insufferable. Might as well employ a bunch of cyclists for the way they're acting and treating people. For instance, I walked in to check out their running belts. While I'm knelt down looking at the two or three they offer, some kid walks up and acts like I'm about to steal something! Then he says "what are you doing?" "I'm looking for a running belt. What else do you have?" "That's it." "These are $55+. I can get a 2L camelbak with pockets for that price." "I don't make the prices." "You asked. I answered. Don't like what I have to say? Don't ask." "Whatever man." And he walks off. So, I left. Their selection of products offer ZERO variety, especially considering what you can get online. Save the gas, the headache and the irritation and just stay home and look around online, this place is a waste of space. Side note: I'm CERTAIN their manager will pop on here and say something pandering like "I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience. Why don't you schedule a time to come in and let us make it right?" Or something stupid like that. And frankly, NOPE! First of all, WHY DO I HAVE TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT FOR A RUNNING BELT?!?! What kind of matrix level deception is that?! Secondly, come back in to what? More of the same again? This would be the third time I've been in there. Three strikes and you're out. Too bad because I spend a LOT of money on running. Swear, Fleet Feet won't get one red cent of it. read more

I just started running and noticed I have really bad calf pain, Sam at FleetFeet was super kind and helpful. She explained to me my high arch feet could be a factor of that calf pain. She picked out a pair of brooks she think I would like and I tried them on, she even let me take a quick jog out front to see how they would feel. I felt like I was running on clouds, it made a huge difference. She even gave me a discount for the socks I picked out and I also bought insoles along with the shoes which was very inexpensive. I love this store. As I get older, I have various random aches and pains I never had before. Running takes its toll on the body for sure. Ultramax carries a wide variety of athletic footwear for any event or season. I seriously needed some running shoes. I can go into a store and try on any random shoe, but I wanted the help of someone who knows more than I do about shoes (not setting the bar too high here!). Ultramax has a treadmill, w/ camera and software to help analyze your gait and select the best shoe. Andrea helped me select my shoe. I am massively into bargains and the shoe I ended up purchasing was not much more expensive than ordering online. I truly appreciated the personalized help in finding the right shoe. With my job I walk approximately 18-20 miles a day on concrete floors. Being 55 years old my body takes a beating. When I went to Fleet Feet I asked for the smartest person they had. Courtney came out to help me. The word impressive doesn't begin to describe the service and knowledge she brought forth. I explained my situation to her and I could tell she was listening and felt like she actually cared. My wife and I both compared it to a Doctor visit. This store is great. Clean. Well organized. Helpful but never pushy staff. I was needing walking shoes for our Disney trip, that would help my horrible plantar fasciitis. Gentleman that helped was knowledgeable about what would be best for me. All their shoes are crazy expensive but he always suggested the "cheaper" ($120) pairs first. I saw a pair I liked that was way over what I wanted to spend ($160) and he went in back and found a pair on sale. They were too big and didn't fit but just the willingness to try to help me find better option I liked more and could afford was appreciated. read more

I truly love Ultramax Sports, not only for their excellent customer service and knowledgeable staff, but also for the events they sponsor. The gait analysis service is great and helped me to find the right shoes for me. I run on a variety of surfaces and climates. I am also working toward increasing my distances. The staff at Ultramax is very helpful and honest about what will and will not help me. They have supplies for everyone from beginners to ultra runners and tri-athletes. I would like to see better variety in mid-level brands so as to bring down the prices. Most of their products are major athletic brands, which drives the price of the product unfairly high, especially in apparel. However, they do have an excellent annual tent sale. read more

I am an occasional customer. Frequently, when I am in the front desk is flush with employees. This afternoon I popped in for a meager purchase; 2 packs of sport beans. There were three guys behind the counter. One was helping a customer. Not sure what the others were up to but no one even looked at me. When the one customer was taken care of, her helper went off to do something else. The guy to my left never looked up. The guy to my right picked up his cell phone and took/made a call.I realize it was merely sport beans but jeez! I felt like an intruder so I left the beans on the counter and walked out. I went to Ridge Runners, a quarter mile away, bought the beans, talked trail runners with an Associate, and was even offered a cup of coffee.I think I will keep my business local from now on.
