I have used the folks over at Cavus Media for both personal and business photography. The personality of the staff is both professional and fun at the same time. My personal shots have come out great and the best part is you get to keep every single photo that is taken. I've run into a few photographers where they will only send out the best shots. The candid shots are sometimes the best of them all especially when you have children involved. In my business of real estate, photos can sometimes make or break a listing. Each home that Cavus Media has shot has sold within days of listing. The aerial photography along with the video production has really made a great package to use for the sale of the home and also as a nice keep sake for the sellers. When I got married, someone once told me to make sure the video and photos were good. I didn't quite get it, but realized years later that I could barely remember anything about my wedding (don't tell my wife) but the video remains forever. Since then, I've made sure to capture some of my personal life's moments with video and even starting to use the same technique for my business. That's where I found these guys. Cavus has taken videos for my business on several occasions and has done professional head shots for all of my employees. They were professional on the phone and I didn't know what to expect, but when they arrived (30 minutes early!!!) they came with a car full of top notch equipment and set everything up for a very professional video. My LinkedIn and company outlook profile picture is an old cropped photo of my face at a family reunion. Not very professional and in need of a serious upgrade, especially after my recent promotion. I was sold on Cavus after watching the video clips on their website. You can tell this guy is a camera geek and sounds like a normal dude, not some salesy guy. I've never had professional photos taken of me before so can't compare with the likes of Glamor Shots etc. but it was such an easy process and Nils was flexible with my crazy schedule. I took an intro 001 class with Cavus Media LLC and it was awesome. I was able to learn how to use my camera manually and what ISO is for. The instructors were friendly, funny, and very informative. We have used Cavus Media for our annual family photos the past few years. Nils is one of the best photographers I have ever worked with. He is extremely professional yet offers a very comfortable and casual shooting environment. He is also extremely understanding and creative when working with younger children. While he has many ideas and visions as the photographer, he also welcomes any ideas, suggestions or requests that you may have. In many cases you get what you pay for, but with Nils I feel as though the quality of photos and the experience far exceeds the price.
