Albert is the best in the industry. I was reluctant to join his Academy but I'm very confident in my operating skills now.

Matt and a few other instructors make it seem like its a burden to have to help students. A lot of the equipment is also old and broken and students are then blamed for it. I honestly did not feel like anyone at CIEMT wanted me to succeed. The entire experience felt like I was being hazed. Being yelled at and demeaned is not a bug but a feature of CIEMT. Do not attend this school if you want to have a good experience learning. I promise you that you will regret it. Do not be fooled by the low program cost. I ended up taking another EMT class at UCLA and I passed without any issues. Please take your hard earned money elsewhere.

I went to their website and registered for the June course, paid the $250 fee, and only then noticed I had been enrolled in the May session instead. I never even viewed the May option, and this all happened within two minutes. I immediately registered again this time correctly for the June course. Since it was late at night, I couldn't call right away, but I contacted the school the next day to explain the situation and request a refund for the mistaken May enrollment. The woman I spoke with was incredibly rude, dismissive, and repeatedly blamed me, refusing to even hear me out. She said it's my fault and that it's none refundable and that I singed it. She made it clear that they wouldn't help. So, I had no choice but to dispute the charge with my bank. Then today, I received an email saying I was being refunded for the June class the one I actually wanted and was told I'm no longer welcome at their school for making a false dispute which is not true. Meanwhile, three of my friends registered with me, and after hearing about this experience, they've decided to go elsewhere. So congratulations you kept $250, but lost four students. I will be exploring legal action due to your unprofessional conduct and the clear issues with your glitchy website. Future students, do yourself a favor and find a school that actually cares.

They operate through the booking system Vagaro, which only sends an appointment request. The business owner must approve the request to confirm the appointment. Monica never approved mine and made no effort to reach out, even with my appointment request pending for days. I texted her at 10 AM on August 27, and only then did she acknowledge my appointment for August 28 at 9 AM. An hour before my appointment, she canceled claiming a power outage however I have a friend who lives less than two minutes from her shop and their electricity was fine, so I am not sure how valid that excuse really was. At first, I wasn't upset because cancellations happen and I simply requested a refund from Groupon. I even provided screenshots of our full text thread showing that Monica canceled on me. Instead of being honest, Monica lied and told Groupon that I was a no-show. When I confronted her about it with proof, she responded by saying she would reach out to Groupon to correct the issue and still claimed that she did not cancel the appointment. Less than 24 hours later, Groupon emailed me again saying the merchant reconfirmed I was a no-show and even provided "photo evidence." How that's possible when my only communication with this business is in the attached text thread where she clearly cancels is beyond me. That false statement blocked my refund and left me having to dispute the charge with my bank. This is very unprofessional and consumer fraud. If you are considering these businesses (LB Sculpt x Cali Bods), beware. The lack of integrity, poor communication, and dishonesty about cancellations show they do not operate ethically. No customer should ever be lied about or penalized just so a business owner can avoid issuing a refund.

You'll be home in time to shower, go to sleep early, and wake up sober for work the next day! 3. Friendly and encouraging audience. No one will boo you or throw a bottle at you! I just thought it would be fun, and it turned out to be so much more. Yes, it is fun! It is a beautiful escape from life's difficulties and filled with laughter, learning, and grace. Darren, Neil and the rest of the instructors and cast have created something very special here. Imagine a group of strangers from all walks of life coming together to create something magical. It is scary at first but the growth is quick and you are supported and encouraged so much more than you could imagine, not only by the instructors but that group of strangers who you bond with. Some of my biggest takeaways are to listen, (really listen), choose words wisely, and not to rush. This is not only true on the Held2gether stage but has carried over in my life. Give it a try, you won't regret it and you just may get hooked too. All are welcome and encouraged.

We found that Summer Studios was in the area and had different class options. We went in to check it out and get more details. David was very friendly and helped answer our questions. A date night class sounded like the best way to try it out at a reasonable price to see if we enjoyed it before signing up for a full class. On the night, we got there and the dog Sokkit was there to welcome us in. David talked us through the process and then he demonstrated the process for us, including explaining the "why" behind the steps. With that sorted, we got to get our hands muddy (covered in slippery wet clay) to throw a pot. David was watching over us and helped us with the steps as we had first-timer issues and questions. The setting was a nice way to try out pottery, and is a fun activity on a date night. We had the chance to make 3 different pots each, and they were each quite different but not too bad for a first time. David told us that for these classes, he does the work to finish off the pots (drying, trimming, firing, and glazing) and then we can come back to pick up the finished pieces. I'm quite curious how they will look when finished. Overall, very enjoyable and fun. We're probably signing up for one of the 4 or 6 week classes soon.

There are only so many youtube videos a person can watch but the best way to learn is to have a professional demo the polisher/buffer in front of you, have the students use the polisher/buffer on a hood, and have the instructors critique your work. The course started out with an introduction of all students and Greg Masterson, who is the Director of Training. Greg starts out with a lecture on paints and clear coat, the purpose of polishing, the difference between a polisher and a buffer, pads and chemical polishes/compounds, and finally a Q&A. After break, Greg and Kris setup hoods in the training area for students to use polishers and buffers on. Greg will demo us how to properly install the pad, how much polish to put on, priming the pad, how to spread the polish on the hood, and how to make a "pass" on a section of the hood. Greg also demonstrated how to use a buffer and the students also got some good time in how to use one. In conclusion, Smart Detailing University provided me outstanding information in how to properly use a polisher and buffer. In the past, my technique with a polisher was moving the polisher too fast and using too much polish. Now I know the right technique and that the an important skill in polishing is patience! I highly recommend Greg and Smart Detailing University for those that want to learn how to use polisher and/or a buffer.

Chef Andy's workshop happens once a month on a random Wednesday and it's geared towards complete beginners with no experience necessary. I have to admit that when we first got there, the kitchen and the general area seemed a bit sketch, but we were warmly greeted by the staff. We were told to get there 10 minutes prior because the workshop starts promptly at 6:00 p.m. It was a small intimate group of less than 10 students with Chef Andy leading the way. Over the course of 90 minutes, we were able to make two sushi balls (salmon and shrimp), a California roll, salmon poke, and a small hand roll. The last 30 minutes was spent eating our creations and taking pictures. This workshop really gave me some confidence to try to make my own sushi at home! My only regret is that we didn't take a picture with Chef Andy because we were too busy admiring and devouring our own work!
