I have been a client of this business for over a year. I won't be going back. I know that Covid has made it very hard financially on all small businesses but what I experienced yesterday was insulting. Despite repeated requests, products that drove the cost of my service up kept being used. They also quote a price for a service and then in small print say $15 charge for shaping of nails!! How can you put on a full set and not shape them?! I don't think that the guy that was taking care of me realized that I could understand some of the things that he was saying. I've been to CC Nails twice now and never been satisfied with my nails and experience afterwards. Only good thing is how fast they are. After ONE WEEK two of my nails had fallen off/chipped. I have a desk job and my nails typically last 3 weeks. I had plenty of air bubbles in my gel nails. When I got back to Wilmington my nail salon was shocked at how bad they were and couldn't believe how poorly my nails were done. She had to replace 4 different nails, not including the 2 that messed up already. Bottom line: if you want something quick that won't even last a week go here, but it you actually wanna get your moneys worth and enjoy your nails.... GO ELSE WHERE!!! read more

Terrible! I was in the chair, feet soaking & they handed the menu & ask what service I'd like...they talked me into an upgrade & foolish me! "Therapeutic pedicure" is about 12 minutes long! 12 minutes for less than mediocre service = $38. Less than satisfied! Instead of gouging people to upgrade & then not deliver....do a good job and get repeat customers instead of one and done! Terrible experience! first time at this salon. had previously used its sister salon diva. I was treated rudely by the nail technician and he was talking about me to his coworker in Vietnamese. he also said I didn't wash my feet well. he was very rude and didn't do a good job as it was obviously he didn't like doing my feet. never had this happen in all the years of pedicures. I told the girl at the front desk I was not happy with his attitude, I did leave him a very good tip as I always do at salons. but apparently she told him and he confronted me and was nasty to me while my nails were drying. I had to find the dryer myself as he had just left me at the counter. never would I go back to a salon like this. I don't care how nice the decore. no one should be allowed to treat a customer like this. read more

Wife and I made appointments for mani/pedi and we're not helped until 15 minutes later. Water for Pedi was cold and person doing the work didn't care. It was obvious that they did not want to do a Pedi. The person working on my wife actually hurt her by being too rough. We will never return. I have been going to CC Nails for a few months now. Until today I have been satisfied with the SNS service I have received. Today I receive what can only be described as an intentional bad job. The manicurist left my nails uneven, bumpy, and oddly shaped! The absolute worst part was that at the end of the manicure she sawed on the nail at the end of my thumb until she cut my finger! I understand everyone had a bad day now and then but hurting a repeat, good tipping customer is uncalled for. You lost a customer today. read more

TERRIBLE!!! Went with an entire bridal party and almost no one was happy with their nails. Waited 45 minutes to get tips that started lifting 2-3 days later!! When we called, she told me that if I didnt come in that night at 7 (it was 4:30 pm when i called), that she wouldnt fix them. I told her I had an event that night, offered to send pictures, told her I would come right now, next morning or following day and she said NOPE. Very disappointed. My first time there and will NOT go back. Polish came off my toes in less than 4 hours from leaving the salon and I had added services, not the basic pedicure. I had a basic manicure and requested clear polish, she put one coat on of the base and that was it. Not sure she knew what she was doing. So not impressed with CC Nails in NMB. Went for a pedicure and the receptionist was beyond rude on the phone and even worse in person. My toes look good, but the experience left something to be desired. Wasn't offered anything to drink and I felt like the appt was rushed. I saw everyone else in there with a glass of wine. $43 (without a tip) for a classic pedi is a bit much. Definitely won't be recommending this place! Dealing with them is awful. My wife prepaid for some work for my daughters. She told them exactly what to do, and purchased a gift card for the exact amount. When they went two days later, they claimed that it was not enough. When I called to see what was going on, I was told that the manager was not there. I spoke to four different people about what happened. They all had a different story. One told me my daughter had gel (which we specifically said no to), one said just polish, and the other said just French tips. My mother in law told them specifically what to do. Then, the manager suddenly is called to come over to the phone. I am quoted multiple different prices for what was done to my daughters. I told them if they did extra that was not agreed on, then that was on them. Then they said that my mother in law lied and she wanted to spoil them. This was untrue. My family will not be returning for any reason. Consumer beware! read more

Very unsanitary went for a pedicure got gel polish. Next time I went under the gel polish as a nail fungus!!! Never cleaned tools!!!!

Never again. Don't tip till all services are done. Went for mani pedi about an hour before closing. Did the most expensive pedicure they offer. Mine was ok but my daughters was horrible. The lady did not follow the same process that my person did. Left tea leaves on her as products were barely washed off. Her massage was about 2 minutes. My manicure was rushed and @ 5 min. Cuticles were not trimmed. Daughters gel manicure was uneven and rough. Manicure tables were not cleaned in between clients. Finger nails were still left on the floor when the place closed. Nope never again. Pushed us out the door as they wanted to leave. This salon was very pretty, however, my nails were just ok. Of course, they knew I was a "tourist" based upon the service I requested because the locals don't get this service as much. Also, I requested my toenails to be polished and when she took my polish off she left it around the edges so it looks like I'm bleeding around my cuticles when it's the old pink polish. My fault, even though I am a tourist, in their eyes, I own a home here and know better than to get my nails done while at the beach because they do a crappy job and gouge you on the price. Decided to try this place as it is closer to my home then where I normally go. Went and had their most expensive "Milk and Honey" pedicure. (My technician was a blonde asian lady - I mention this only because it appears others have had similar experiences with the same woman) I soaked in plain water and continually asked if she was doing the correct pedicure. Was assured I was. I had taken my 93 year old dad (he likes to get his feet done) so I was a bit distracted and trying to enjoy the time with him (otherwise I would have probably noticed more right then and there!) By the time I got home I saw what I thought was parafin wax on my feet only to realize it was dry skin that hadn't been removed! I immediately called (they had closed) and left a message. Went back the next morning and even though they saw the dead skin - they would offer to do nothing!! Extremely rude - I wasn't asking for my money back - I honestly expected they would offer to soak my feet and take care of the dry skin!) A huge waste of $80 ($60 + $20 tip) DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. When 1 out of 5 people give them a negative review on Yelp and on Facebook - that should tell you something!! (I posted photos on their facebook page if you'd like to see just how bad it was!) I hate that I have to give this place 1 star. I've tried this place 4 times now, and I will never ever go back. My nails are not only different shapes, but also different sizes. When trying to politely point this out, the man doing my nails rolls his eyes as if he is irritated with me. After painting my nails I realize that there is no paint on the tip- just a red nail with an unpainted tip. I asked if he would mind putting some paint on the tip and he told me "that's not in the book", and was condescending towards me and said I was too "particular". I kindly mentioned that in 15 years of getting my nails done that I never had to specify that I expected my entire nail to be painted. I paid and left, and upon further inspection, there are bubbles and bumps in the paint and 3 of my nails are glued to my actual skin. If you want chrome powder nails, do not go here. If you want something new, complicated, or done right the first time, do not go here. Not only was I treated like I was trying to get something over on them because I wanted them to fix something they had done wrong for free, but I was outright ignored, belittled, and lied to. They didn't do my nails properly Wednesday, despite trying to communicate several times the way I wanted it (I wanted chrome powder nails and had checked before I went that they had it.) I wasn't able to make it back until Monday to get them fixed, but the girl I work with who originally recommended the place had spoken with the owner at length to make sure I could do that. Just in case, I called before I left the house (an hour before I showed up) to make sure I could indeed get them fixed for free. As soon as I show up, the story changes - maybe I messed up the nails, maybe its a different product from what I want, maybe it's the wrong color, I'm going to have to pay, I'm going to have to go with a regular polish. The only reason I went here was because they were the only ones I had found with chrome powder polish. None of this is even counting the trouble I had when I got my nails done the first time. I have been getting my nails done for over 30 years and by far this is the worst fill in I have ever had. First of all, I had asked for a pink and white fill. I sat down with this guy and told him I wanted the pink and white. He starting filing and then told me he couldn't do the white. He ended up doing only the pink, slapped it on, didn't even let me wash my hands of the dust before he put one coat of clear on top of the dust. He literally worked on my nails for 15 minutes, got up and never said thank you. So 5 days and $25.00 later, the acrylic has lifted and broke on 6 nails. Located in the new shopping center by Hobby Lobby. They did a fast and great manicure. Also painted my daughters nails and they were very patient with her. Loved the decor of the facility. Much nicer than other area salons. Owner was also very attentive to what was going on with each customer and seemed to really care about customer service. I didn't give 5 stars because somehow my nails are not glossy...have more of a matte finish so I'm not 100% happy with the results. Will definitely give them another try when in town. read more

I made an appointment with this salon for my wedding as it came recommended by friends in the area. There were 3 of us getting pedicures and manicures and all three of us had an awful experience. We started with Pedicures and they were done in about 15 minutes with all three of us and did no leg or foot massage and just rushed us all through it. They have options for pedicures which we watched them offer one other guest who was there but didn't bother to even ask us. Then on to the manicures where they didn't cut back cuticles, I had to ask them 3 times. They didn't trim nails or even ask about cutting or trimming them back for any of us. After the first coat of gel polish, I asked the technician if she could put a tip on my thumb as that nail has broken and she said she couldn't because she had already started gel polish. I told her I would pay extra if necessary to fix the one nail. Then another technician sitting nearby chimed in with her comment about how I was wasting money and should just leave it alone. The salon wasn't remotely busy so I'm not sure why they felt the need to rush everything and do a terrible job! The worst part is they charge top dollar, $75 for mani/pedi, but their service and quality is what you'd find at a low end salon that costs about $35! Very disappointing experience and I would not recommend this salon to anyone! read more

I just got a pedicure done here and am so unimpressed. I was seated quickly for my appointment, which was a good start. The nail tech handed me some color samples to look through while my feet soaked. It was nice to not feel hurried as I picked out a color. When he started painting my nails the color was significantly different than what was on the sample. He brought me a couple of other options and I went with the one that was closest to my original selection. Unfortunately he only put one coat of color on, which I didn't realize until he had already started doing the top coat. I was rushed over to the drying area so that he could get to the next client. After I left I took a closer look and noticed what a terrible job of polishing my nails he had done. It was very thick on some toes and On some it was thinly applied. There was polish on my toe and he had missed one corner on a toe. And for $38 I expected to be at least offered some water or a soda. Needless to say, I won't be back! read more

I went to get my nails fixed after a total botched job by Nails 2000 n Vanessa fixed me up really nice. Very professional n very sweet girl. My nails never looked so amazing. I don't know how she was able to reshape them they way I had originally requested at Nail 2000 but she did n looked like a new set. She even suggested the perfect color n style n I'm very happy with the work. Vanessa will be the only one who does my nails from now on. Thank you CC Nails for hiring such a great n professional woman. It's about time nail salons hire people based on skill not just how fast they can get u out the door for a quick turnover.
