It wasn't that great from the begging and probably should have turned around and left. It was four of us that were there and called to see about coming in and a good time to come in. (We wanted to get pedicures before vacation but didn't get a chance to so why not when on vacation?) We picked out nail polish to use and normally we do gel but decided to just do regular this time. (Not used to location) As we had gel on toes, the guy said there was a charge to remove it. A $5 charge to remove gel. He said it's common everywhere. I don't know if it's just a Myrtle beach thing but it certainly is not everywhere thing. We've gotten nails done in several different states and different locations so it's not like we only have gone to one place ever and this was the first we've heard of a removal fee for gel. Then he was grabbing the polish out of our hands and saying you break it you buy it. Which who does that?! He was rude how he grabbed it and no one has ever said you break you buy about the polish. I don't even want to know how much he'd charge for polish either. That rude guy who commented on price worked on my sister while I had someone who did not speak to me at all. I didn't think he did that good of clipping my toe and was looking at it and rude cheap guy was like it's fine. It seemed ok but a little longer than I like but was like whatever. It's not big deal. (Later I would find out, it wasn't even nor clipped right as it was scrapping against me and I had to fix it) There are three "packages" which seem meh I guess. I'm used to more options than just three which is why it also seemed disappointing. We just did the basic because it didn't seem like anything different for deluxe. The massage was nice. My sister was enjoying hers and the rude guy was like "if you like it you should have gotten deluxe package. Means more massage. Too late now!" Which is really stupid honestly. There was no one else. A couple people finishing and us four. Is he in a rush to not work? Shouldn't he be trying to upsell and get that extra? And go I can do that if you like to upgrade your package! Like dude...what? Speaking of rush, everything was done in less than 20 minutes. That's how long my massages usually are at other stores so this was crazy. We pay, I still leave a nice tip, and we wait for the rest of the party to finish since they started a little after us. Which as we did, the rude guy from beginning was going around and cleaning up and saw the controller for the seat hanging down and not in its place of way back behind the seat that you can't see and is "joking" you trying to break my machine? I charge you for that! Then just says he's joking. Dude seriously? All you've been doing is saying how much you charging us so how we know? I'm honestly surprised he didn't charge us to use the restroom. And then the nails he did for my sister, already started chipping two days later. Oh and the way they separate the toes-if they did-was with paper. Not with the toe separator thing but with tissue paper. I guess that's cheaper? It also shows how cheap one is.... read more

I tried this place for a pedicure with 2 friends. The only thing we weren't disappointed in was the cleanliness. The men who gave the pedicure did a reasonable job on the nail polish but my heels were just as bad as when I went in and the calf massage was very light with very little pressure. I wanted to find an asian owned salon and support it, so I came here. Big mistake. Cleanliness 5/5 Customer service 0/5 Reg mani/pedi 1/5 Total experience 0/5 I made a same day appointment and got a regular mani/pedi - $55. I got an older nail tech wearing an apron. My experience was ok at best, the customer service needs to improve. I wanted Regular polish and the nail tech kept pushing for gel, I already said no 2x and then me not wanting gel was used against me later. "If you got gel, it wouldn't mess up." I did not feel welcomed by my tech, she didn't talk to me other than telling me I'll mess up my nails if I touch anything in a scolding manner. There's a massage chair when you get a pedicure, the nail tech turned off the chair to paint my toenails but didn't say anything prior so I was confused. I asked if the massage chair interrupts the pedicure, she said "you don't want me to mess up the color do you?". Had she communicated what she was doing, it would be ok. She was crass and never asked me if I was ok or if anything hurt, nor if the water was warm. I was a body in the chair. And then for ingrown toenails, she dug into my skin too deep, my skin was raw. In the middle of the service, I was asked to pay. Nobody else in the salon had to pay during, they paid after. I did not like being treated differently. How is anyone supposed to tip on unfinished nails? The most she spoke was to ask if my card went through because the receipt didn't print. I really planned on tipping more in cash at the end on top of my early payment tip, but she was so rude to me! Anyway, at the end of the service, my tech never came back to check on me or anything. So I asked another tech if it's cool if I left and that I had already paid. Other techs were so kind to their customers, talking to them, why was I treated so differently? It's a shame to me because I actively sought out an Asian salon as an Asian myself, but this customer service was horrible. Horrible. Inside was clean. But the Tv was off, and music was playing. Since my nail tech kept scolding me for touching the massage remote or looking at my phone... If I can't be on my phone because of my nails, or use the massage chair because I can't touch the remote, do I just sit? I got scolded when I did anything and had no alternative so I closed my eyes and felt so uncomfortable. Please address this with that nail tech. I told her that was not with the website said. She told me that it was in their brochure. I told her I did not come in to read the brochure, that I got the information from their website. The older female nail tech was horrendous. She cut my semi-long toe nails into nubs that hurt every time she touched them. She got up angrily and made a scene when I asked her to add another coat of color. She was very rough and left paint all over my skin around my nails. Another tech had to come over and finish the job. And that's not all; the older male tech who did my sister's toes was also super rough and left her toes red in pain. The worst part? It cost $100. Just plain bad and sloppy job all around. Sad. read more

This was listed #8 when searching for nail salons in MB, but when I called the day before to make a reservation, they offered the earliest appointment of the day - 9am. Our group of 5 arrived and they had 5 pedicure chairs set up with steamy fresh water and 5 techs ready to make it happen! We all decided to get the citrus pedicure ($40) and the $10 upgrade was worth it! We all loved our leg massages the best! Everyone was efficient and we were so relieved that all 5 of us got serviced at the same time - we've experienced wait times before at other salons when going in with a big group. The checkout process was also non-assuming and smooth. A few salons I've frequented don't allow credit card tips, preferring cash and sometimes, when I didn't have cash on me, I couldn't leave a tip. Very clean and professional! I was very impressed with their cleanliness and that all staff members wore masks the entire time. We each had a pedicure and I had fake nails (dip powder) put on. Since I hate sitting at any nail Salon for too long I asked them to start my hands while I was getting my pedicure, which to be honest, is uncomfortable for the person doing the nails as the Angie is all wrong and they have to stand the entire time. (I tipped generously as I'm not a huge arse) Hands and toes came out great! I would definitely return. read more

I had two really good experiences here. But my middle finger nail cracked 3 days after I got them done. I went back to the salon, and they fixed it no problem. But, 3 days later, I began to get intense swelling and inflammation in the finger that they fixed. I was squeezed in between clients, I am worried the tools used may not have been sterilized. I'm not the type of person to write a 1 star review on anything, I like leaving positive feedback and believe in second chances but sadly I my experience at this salon left such a bad taste in my mouth I feel like I need to warn people. It was my birthday and as a cute little birthday gift for myself I wanted to get a full set of acrylics put on with gel polish. I brought two sets of reference photos, one for length and shape, one for color. Immediately upon seeing my natural nail length the gentleman working on my nails tried to convince me not to get acrylics and just let him file my natural nails instead. While my nails are very long they were not the length I wanted and I showed him my reference photo for length again. Then he filed down my natural nail to the shape I wanted, again trying to convince me not to do the acrylics, but still I wanted the acrylics put on and he huffed and grumbled about it. He then set the basket of gel polish samples on the side of the desk and told me to pick from it but he took my hands away and started working on my nails before I got the chance to look. Also he didn't soak my cuticles and cut the dead skin off like all the other salons I've been too, he just took out the grinder and hacked them off with that instead which was kinda painful. Once he was done shaping he asked what color I wanted and I showed him my color reference again. Then he gestured to the sample basket and said which color again. Confused and panicked I picked the first sample I saw even remotely close to what I wanted. Turns out it wasn't even a color, it was clear. Like I said, he didn't give me time to look through the basket I didn't get a good look and what I thought was a "color" was just the sample nail underneath. I thought "whatever, the color I wanted was a semi-transparent pink anyway, we can work with this" and let it go because I was honestly tired of getting attitude from this guy every time I tried asking him to do something different. But before putting on the CLEAR polish he buffed my nails with an orange buffer that left orange dust on the nail...and just painted over the orange dust locking it in with clear gel polish. The final touch was just supposed to be a very thin line at the tip of the nail. Almost a french manicure but not quite, it was supposed to be just a very very thin line. And he slapped and thick, awkwardly shaped white bar across the top. From a distance or at a glance they look okay but because I see them 24/7 I'm unfortunately very aware of every misshapen curve and weird orange hue around the edges. They also look nothing like the reference photos I provided. At the end of the day they're just nails, I'll get over it, I'm just upset that I paid $50 for something I'm not happy with and got nothing but attitude along the way. Ok yelpers we drove 17 minutes to get here because the place close to us didn't have great reviews. It was worth the drive. They were a little busy but we didn't have to wait but a minute. The staff was friendly and helpful with color and suggestions about my toe design. I wanted one color for the design but the lady explained that it would show up well with the base color I picked.
