And he is very, very reasonable- price wise. My brother had a tooth pulled and he paid five times as much. Dr Barnes is a saint. He did a root canal on another tooth last year and he let me pay for it every month. He works with you. I have no dental insurance. I don't know what I'd do without him. Oh, yes I do. I'd be in pain and I'd end up at one of the high priced gyp joint dentists in the area.

The crowns are falling out (4 so far) & so much of the tooth was drilled away not due to decay but to make his fit, that I'm having to have oral surgery! The fee was quickly forgotten. my Son got Xrays done on the first appointment, set up the second appointment. Needs 2-4 teeth extracted. During the second appointment I go in with him, dentist shows me the trays, the damage, then refuses to work on my Son because he turned his head when he quickly shoved his hand in his mouth. So he says he can refer us to a dentist. My referral was a post-it note with a single word, "pedodontist". We find our own pedodontist, they need xrays done but there just was an insurance claim made so we contact these people to get the Xrays and within a week they say they dont have them because they never took them. Yet, the dentist showed me on the second appointment! The new dentist also told us that a cleaning was also used by this doctor but no such cleaning ever happened cause he doesnt know how to deal with children that are scared. Best of all, a month and half later I'm now getting a bill for $210 with no explanation. I just tried calling them and no ones answering. How, as a "professional" do you just send a letter that says nothing but pay "$210". These people are a joke. Dont go!

He also said they were horrible to deal with and told the dentist that him and the receptionist need to work on their customer service skills. The doctor shared a story about another patient he described as someone who complains all the time. The story felt indirect but strongly implied that patient concerns like mine might be exaggerated. This made me feel uncomfortable and dismissed at a time when I was seeking support and clarity about worsening symptoms. Additionally, while in the waiting room, I observed another patient being questioned in a similarly dismissive tone when she asked for additional help post-treatment. This reinforced my concern about how patient concerns are handled in this practice. Because of her incompetence, I had to go through a full retreatment with another dentist -- 6 long visits, each involving high doses of anesthesia -- just to fix the mess she left behind. I even had to take 6 days off work and pay $3,750 out of pocket. To make it worse, the clinic has now removed her name from their website, pretending like she never existed.
