Original post below: Worst Service and Quality I have Ever Encountered. Bought a new build with a well in Jan 2026. 7 months of well guys (Sharpe's) and plumbers as as of Aug 2026 I had low water pressure in 5 bedroom/3 bath house. Couldn't take a shower and flush a toilet anywhere without the shower turning off. Sharpe's said the well was fine. Plumber blamed the well guys. After 7 months the pump stopped working. Sharpe's replaced under "warranty" and then charged me $1000 to pull the bad pump and put a new one in. Low and behold the water pressure now is normal and you can flush a toilet while a shower is running and it does not shut off....As well I had built a pump house over the well as it was 6'x4' wide (huge and couldn't use the usual rock cover). I had to cut it apart for over $3500 between the well house and the demolition. They replaced it with a super small "wart" cover and also charged me $600 for that. DONT GET A HOUSE WITH WELL FROM SHARPE'S!!! Any no-one will pay. Except YOU. And anyone who wants the invoices and the 8 pages of emails from the last 7 months, I'd be happy to provide. Cons: Two technicians arrived and one pulled the truck SO close to our home, that he ran over the irrigation system (which was visible above ground due to the circular irrigation cover). Water began flowing out and we couldn't figure out where our water shut off was. $75 to a plumber, $100 to one irrigation company, and $600 to another irrigation company later, we finally had our sprinklers fixed. It was 2 broken pipes and a valve that had broken. Mack originally agreed to pay $250 for the fix (before the diagnosis). After we discovered how much the fix was, we sent him the invoice. We had hoped he'd do the right thing and cover his company's mistake. Instead, it took multiple phone calls (by my husband only, he would never answer the phone when I called), to finally get him to send a payment. In the end, he only sent $225. I now know not to use this company in the future.

I called the folks at Carolina Backflow Specialties Inc as a second quote for fixing a valve on my…read morebackflow device. The city had tested and failed it and provided a list of folks who could fix it. First people I called didn't ask me any questions, just called me back with a quote of $550. So I called CBSI to get a second quote. They asked me all sorts of questions about device numbers and what the testing results were (made me feel like they knew what they were doing), and then came back with a quote of $189. My jaw hit the floor. So not only did the folks at CBSI take care of me at a third of the cost - they did it all in a friendly, professional way. And they even contacted the city and faxed them the new test results (showing the fix and the pass). Saved me that hassle as well. Can't say enough good things - if you need your backflow tested or fixed - call these folks first. Won't need to call anyone else. I even plan to use them for yearly backflow testing. It would have been daylight robbery if I had gone with those first folks. $550 my hiney. They need a reality check......but sure ain't getting my check!
