    Not great customer service, never on time, and they haven't had a great selection of flower to choose from. I won't be using them again.

This is also why so many people remain intimidated by cannabis instead of embracing its benefits. You only get one chance at a first impression, and they last a lifetime. Embarc has a great spot and a solid location, but the service is hit or miss based on the budtender. Some are nice and don't mind providing an educational experience; others treat it as transactional only. This is unacceptable. Case in point with Dom. I had a friend in town from NC and the experience was less than desirable. No effort to engage, no curiosity about what we were looking for, just going through the motions. Management needs to learn to treat all customers as discrete and unique individuals. Not everyone walks in already knowing what they want. Having an expansive menu is a liability when there is zero guidance to navigate it. The "analysis paralysis" caused by too many options--paired with a lack of expert help--is exactly why we left and went elsewhere. This is exactly why so many people are intimidated and don't embrace the full benefits of cannabis. Juva is right up the street and Airfield is right up the road. The competition is real. Invest in your people. Train every budtender to meet customers where they are, not just move them through a line. That is what turns a first timer into a regular. Embarc has the location and the selection. Now match it with the service.

There are no "stupid questions" and they make you feel like they are your best friend and your part of the crew, from an enthusiastic greeting as you walk in the door, to another as you enter the show room. I cannot say enough. AYour selection is impeccable and vast as well. Now for ownership, that is another thing. The biggest beef and I am not the only one as I have heard from other customers as well. What is with the $5.00 atm fee? This is an absolute slap in the face to your customers, and I can only equate it to corporate greed. Your employees work so hard to make each shop into a "local neighborhood shop" and in seconds you kinda put a damper on that. Maybe I am missing something, and I do know there are fees at the bank involved. But let's do the math. First off, you do have expenses as all business does but the profity margin at dispensaries is already high. The price point you set is to remain profitable. The beef, is at 5$ per swipe, at a modest 100 transactions per day is approx 15 k pure profit. So that encourages cash only as your bank machine has fees as well. Let us talk about encouraging cash............hmmmmmm. I love getting "cash" as well. I get that. But your adding 5$ per trans is really soaking your clients. With almost everything being cashless or cashless encouraged it almost feels like a trap. You have gone so far even as to switch out to a new debit system and "forgot" to put the 5$ per transaction fee notice back on the customer terminal so if the employee forgets to mention it you don't even know about it. Now I have heard other businesses charging this heavy fee but instead of being greedy they put it into their employees. Retirement funds, medical and health coverage or yearly bonuses etc. I know you have reward programs etc. and are a great business. I def may have it all wrong, but I have heard people really complain and with so many other dispensaries around, a switch is easy. I love your shop but this just leaves a bad taste. Like I said I am mostly uninformed and maybe totally wrong but with everything being so expensive do we really need such a high fee. The 1% give to the community is a start too. I did a pick up order with my…read moregirlfriend and when we got home and smoked some flower it was like rolling up some old wood the flavor was gone and the potency to. we checked the packaged date and it was last year 2025 . embarc sells old outdated flower and vape pens under deals to get rid of products that are old. clearly a rip off!. I don't recommend embarc instead I recommend future buyers to check the package date to ensure you get fresh weed for your money and not a rip off!.

Back then they had a great service, great employees, great management, great selection, and great prices. Over the years the product selection started shrinking and they stopped carrying my favorite brands and products, and the website became super buggy. Now they have changed management again and I think they got bought out by a corporation called STIIIZY. STIIIZY AS A BRAND AND AS A COMPANY IS PURE TRASH AND SO IS THE NEW MANAGEMENT! The product selection is terrible now and half the time they say they have things in stock online and then when you go to the actual location they are out of stock. The products are overpriced and less potent with a small selection and all the best brands like Costal Sun, Maven, Fig Farms, ABX, etc. are no longer carried just so they can promote their lousy STIIIZY products. The website is super buggy and constantly redirects itself in a loop between the actual 7th St. store location as the supplier and STIIIZY itself being used as the supplier. Prices seen online for the same item are different depending on if you're buying from the actual 7th St location or through STIIIZY even though they're the same place, which is super confusing. The website always has trouble with online coupons and promo codes. The staff is usually polite but a lot of the employees don't seem very intelligent. Half of them look like they've been stoned the whole day and they can't even answer basic questions, they are super slow and look totally dazed and confused. Here's a thought, be professional and don't smoke at work! The staff can't seem to count the items in orders properly so you're likely to get orders with missing items; worst of all is that when there are issues/problems or major inconveniences the staff and management will do nothing to help or make up for the trouble. My last three orders placed online were incorrect and missing items. In the past, on several occasions they gave me the wrong change or gave my order to someone else. When you buy STIIIZY items with a set weight, like a 3.5 gram or 7 gram package of flower the actual amount you get is far less. I've had 3 times where when I weighed out a brand new 7 gram pouch of flower it was actually around only 5 grams so STIIIZY is basically shorting and stealing from their customers. Last time I ordered online for an in person pickup I ordered 10 items and had to call 3 times to get an update on my order and when I was told it was finally ready & I arrived to pick it up, it was missing 5 items. How hard is it for their high-as-a-kite employees to count to 10! Then they said sorry we're out of the items you wanted... Well that's why I ordered them hours ago when they were in stock but since the staff is often stoned, they can't focus on their jobs and pack/fulfill orders properly or in a timely manner. To make matters worse when I told the bud tender who was helping me that 5 items missing from order is not cool he started to give me attitude and push me out of his line. UNACCEPTABLE! I told the manager how bad my experience has been and how downhill everything at this location has gone, he said many people have complained about the same things and that he can't do a single thing to make things better. No discount or credit, no complimentary item for the bad experiences, not even an apology. STIIIZY/CALIVA/their management and employees are all incompetent and inept. The way this business is being run is absolutely pathetic and it needs to get shut down. After being a devoted and loyal customer for 10+ years who has spent thousands of dollars here, I AM ABSOLUTELY DONE WITH THIS PLACE! THIS PLACE IS A JOKE AND NOT WORTH THE HEADACHES AND DRAMA. I'd be willing to pay twice as much somewhere else to never have to deal with incompetence of STIIIZY/Caliva again. Corporations really do ruin everything and STIIIZY took a damn fine dispensary and completely screwed it up and that's why I hope this place goes bankrupt because the corporation totally deserves it. Trust me, find a different dispensary because this place is an utter asinine failure.
