If you've watched Anthony Bourdain and ridden on Nordic Track's Tuscany ride or watched Dario's documentary on Netflix you have undoubtedly heard of Dario "the meat Chef" of Italy. Now know for his "Death of the Steak" stunt Dario has placed this village on the must see culinary map. It is a must see. However snagging a reservation at one of the three seatings is nearly impossible. I emailed them 2 months in advance and they were already sold out. I was then directed here.
So after a day in Chianti we had our sights on this stop. The line was brisk. We quickly sat down and devoured our meal. Options are limited pork belly and cheeseburgers. The food was delicious. However seating is extremely limited for a roadside and there is virtually little to no shade. I can imagine getting permits from Italian authorities js like navigating Dante's Inferno.
All and all a nice stop with cheap prices. read more
