She is characterized by her loving and sweet nature as well as her extreme level of professionalism. The candidates she provided were well vetted and met our expectations it was just a matter of time until we found the right candidate. I am very particular about order, structure and household rituals, boarder line OCD. This makes me a challenging customer. Regardless, Ms. Lindsey was patient and extremely thorough in helping us find the perfect fit. I fully recommend "The Lindsey Agency"! Erika Moore

Andrea wasn't just a nanny to our daughter, but a true teacher.  She happily suggested age appropriate toys and educational tools at our request.  Even though our daughter was still an infant, Andrea would read books, go through flash cards, help her with tummy time, plan activities, and organize arts and crafts.  On special occasions she would stage themed photo shoots (one month birthdays, fall, Christmas, etc.) and make all of the pictures available to us.  Even though my husband and I were often working from home, she made sure to send us pictures and videos of our daughter in cute moments.  Our daughter loves Andrea and jumps with excitement when she sees her!  Andrea is now applying her expertise to help others find the perfect person to assist with in home services, however she is still the first person that we trust to help care for our daughter!

I reached out for more info through the website and received a call within an hour. The contact was very polite and informative putting aside most of my initial questions and concerns almost immediately. She walked me through their vetting process and background checks and even recommended specific sitter's for my particular needs based on her first hand experience using this sitter for her own kids. They arranged for a phone interview and if that int well, SitterFriends even provided a free 2.5 hour trial session to meet in person, ask more questions, get to know each other and most important, watch their interaction with my child. Since this initial trial, I now use the app almost daily to schedule this sitter when needed. She's prompt, polite, well mannered and most off all, very experienced. ALL of the sitters provided go through a background checks. Also, many are infant CPR certified. I also receive regular texts and alls checking in on how satisfied I am with the series. This is a very responsible and reliable service. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND ANYONE WHO NEEDS HELP AT HOME TO GIVE THIS A TRY! Thank you SitterFriends. You guys have been a huge help making something that generally is scary and difficult super easy!

The staff was so welcoming and caring and it really felt like each day we were taking him to our family member's home to be cared for. Our son has been at Oxford Babies for 2 years now and we've moved out of the area -- saying goodbye to this amazing team was hard for us and for them (lots of tears between us on the last day!) They really loved our son as we have. They have watched him grow, helped us through many of those crazy stages in the first few years, and have felt like a team of second moms to my husband and I. The Oxford Babies staff truly cares about each of the children there. We have watched our son grow tremendously under their care and I cannot say enough good things about them!

Being first time parents, we felt extremely comfortable leaving our little girl in the care of wonderful, sweet and compassionate teachers. We like the smaller ratio of teachers to babies versus other schools. The price was also a big plus compared to others in the area, like Primrose. Our daughter loves going to school every day and all of the teachers love on our daughter by teaching her everyday. We are so blessed to have found Oxford!

Firstly, you don't send out an email 33 days before the new year to tell your members you're raising rates when they have 30 days to cancel due to the contract. Doing this during the Thanksgiving holiday season made it worse. An ethical business would let your members know well ahead of time. Secondly, every time you go, something is broken. The steam room was down for over 2.5 months. They fixed it and then it broke again. Then the pool was down twice in less than a month. No, you don't get to go up on my rates 15% while not providing services for months I'm paying for.

I have also seen an instructor grab a child by his shirt to lift him out of the shallow end. If you raise the issue with the aquatics director, it's a waste of breath, because nothing will change. If your child takes lessons on the weekend, there is no one above age twenty, even managing the staff. Just because they're physically capable of passing swimming tests doesn't mean they're mature or possess any skills in communicating effectively with children. The wellness center is okay, but don't bother leaving a comment card or making a friendly suggestion. If the Y didn't think it up, it ain't happening. Don't expect the person at the wellness desk to do anything. It's just a young, apathetic person, who thinks he is paid, just to sit there and scroll through his telephone.

The first nanny that…read moreshowed up reeked of cigarette smoke although her application stated that she was a non smoker. When I asked her if she would smoke on the job she stated only outside. I got visions of her getting her smoking fix a few times a day outside while my children were left unattended inside. I wished her well and told her she wasn't the right fit for my family. The second candidate never showed up for her interview although the agency insisted she was the best. Both my husband called several times to let them know we weren't having success with whom they sent. We never received a phone call back until over 2 weeks later. The owner Don is very nonchalant and works for another company while trying to run this one. The placement coordinator, Elizabeth is fresh out of college with little to know interpersonal skills. Shes awful. They ended up sending one more nanny who was very disheveled, her car bumper was litteraly hanging off and didnt even speak to my children during the interview. She wasn't engaging with them at all. We ended up finding a sweet, college educated nanny ourselves on care.com. Do yourself a favor, find another agency that is truly professional and isn't doing it just for the exorbitant fee they charge or find a caregiver on care.com. One additional thing I will say is I did request a slightly older nanny to which the agencies reply was you really should consider someone younger . They are definitely discriminatory .

Don't be fooled that this is anything other than your basic hiring agency: a lot of the "stuff" they offer is plain crap or things you can easily obtain yourself. Moreover, the staff were pushy, rude and unprofessional, which is unacceptable since they charge more than $5000 in fees (10 percent annual salary of a nanny). They are a necessarily evil for clients and nannies and exploit both to their profit. If you have the time, do your own search using Care.com and social media / friend circles. Re: With regards to the owner's response. Of course I am using a pseudonym because I wouldn't want any adverse effects on us or nanny. Consider us whistleblowers. And nice job getting your nannies to give you five stars!
