They helped me choose fabrics to go with some I brought for my next project and despite being a small store, they have many fabric choices; retro, modern, classic, many shades of all colors. Being a small business owner, I prefer to patronize small businesses rather than places like Joanns and am willing to pay more per yard for that. There were other quilting supplies and patterns available but I didn't look at them on this trip. I love seahorses, and they had a beautiful wall hanging of a seahorse which I will incorporate into a bed quilt.

The price covers the piece, supplies, and firing which I think is great. The 420 pieces are especially fun. The pricing can add up (we usually drop $60 when we go there just the two of us) but in THIS economy, and with everything you get in the overall process, it's well well worth it. A print I asked to have matted and framed was slightly curved. I was assured the print would be flattened prior to being matted and framed so it would sit more snugly. Apparently, green is the most frequently used color for all the grass in landscapes so she can buy individual ones here very reasonably instead of buying a whole new package of pencils. They also have a nice selection of gift items like small pouches, reusable bags, socks, cards and assorted small art themed things. The selection of easels is extensive and includes table easels and standing easels. Tons of canvas, paints and paint brushes. Prices are reasonable. She was friendly, helpful, and made the shopping experience enjoyable. When the crystal charm on my bracelet fell off, she assisted me with getting a replacement without any issues. Unfortunately, the replacement crystal charm also fell off shortly afterward. While I absolutely love the meaning behind the bracelet and the inspiration it represents, I'm disappointed with the quality and durability of the charms. Having the charm fall off not once, but twice, was frustrating. The customer service was excellent thanks to Jade, but I hope the company improves the quality of its charm attachments because the products are beautiful and have so much meaning behind them. Compared to other baby consignment shops in the tri-county area, this one isn't as big and the selection is much more limited. But, I am likely biased because I care about everything BUT clothes and that is the focus of this place. Friends who shop here swear that they have great clothes at great prices. Maybe they do. The staff were very friendly during our visit. Their hours are a bit limited, and I would imagine because it is a labor of love by the owner(s).
