The pool here is fantastic - I love those laps lanes like there is no tomorrow! And eating on the patio is probably my favorite summertime lunch experience! I have even, hold on to your clubs, golfed here once. Yes, it did intimidate me but it is a great course. (This coming from a duffer, or maybe not even that good of a golfer.) But all of these terrific experiences were eclipsed recently when I attended a wedding here. Wow is all I can say! Great food, amazing staff, fireworks and a loving couple made for a magical experience. Oh, and Oreos and milk at 9:30 were just perfect for me! I live 5 hours away, I will never have the money to join and if I did my membership would probably be voted down by any sane member of the board but I think this is the coolest country club ever!

There was one green that was in rough shape and there were some irrigation repairs being done but it was barely noticeable. It was a little expensive, $85 for 2 on a cart doing 18. But we had a blast, so it was worth it. BRING BUG SPRAY. The gnats were terrible, our tee time was 7:00AM, they were brutal until about 10, but still present after that. The clubhouse had a nice bar. Burgers and cheese curds were really good.

Modern Americana specialties such as hand held roll up sandwiches. One of the sides is a rarely seen Tater Tot. Reminds me of 'Napoleon Dynamite', "Napoleon, give me some of your tots". The portions were surprisingly large but not to excess and reasonably priced. Service was absolutely outstanding as we were checked on but not to the point of being pesky or pushy. This is a quiet setting with large windows and a wide fireplace. Look for a relaxing lunch with friends with only soft music drifting through as you crunch another tot dipped in sauce.
