Eight or nine years ago I was looking to have a privacy fence installed around my backyard. After searching around the various companies I decided I liked the cedar fencing and chose Cedar Creek Fence Company. They came out they gave me a quote I indicated that I wanted an 8 ft gate so that I could drive my pickup truck into the backyard for mulching purposes they indicated it would be an additional fee for it and told me how much and I agreed. Around a month later one of the 4 by 4 split completely through and per their warranty I called them about the issue. Within three days they responded and replaced the post at no charge. Approximately one year later I called and asked them to put a gate in the back of my property fence. They came out within 3 days to give me an estimate which I agreed to. They came out within two or three days to do the work. I indicated that I wanted to be able to take my 42 in mower through the gate opening and the installer warned me that the date would eventually sag. Since it was only a four foot gate I wasn't worried about a little sagging and agreed to have the work done. On a side note he was correct and now to open the gate I have to exert a couple of pounds of force. Not much at all. I recently called them out about extending the fence from the rear corner of my home to the front corner of my home. Within 2 days they scheduled an individual to come out. Within three days the individual came to the home we spoke. He left the estimate that day. Every interaction I have had with this company has been friendly professional and responsive. read more

This review is eight years after my fence was installed by Cedar Creek. The fence looked beautiful after the initial install. I thought they did a great job! But here I am eight years later replacing posts that were not set properly. Shortly before the winter season, I noticed a panel of my fence was moving quite a bit. So when I went to check the post, I noticed that I couldn't see any cement in the ground and that the post was freely moving. I gather all the equipment that I need it to do the repairs to the fence. I had originally asked Cedar Creek for assistance, but they wanted to charge me $400 for each post they had to replace. These are post that were not done properly the first time. My brother helped me put the new post in. As we walked up and down the back fence line we noticed that several of the posts were moving. It looks like we're going to have to make additional repairs down the road. Craig wants to tell me if he had known that there was a problem with water back in that area they would've used a different type of material. My response to that was as a professional, that is something you should've discussed with the customer prior to doing the installation. I am a widow, and a senior citizen, who feels like they have been taken advantage of. Make sure you have all the information before you decide. read more

After receiving their card at the Patio Show we called to schedule an estimate for fence repair. They informed my wife they were not interested in fence repair and our fence most likely needed to be replaced even though they had never been out to the house.Not impressed with their response of " We are really busy and don't have time for the little jobs." I guess our four other rentals properties will have their fences replaced by someone else. read more
