We came with work laptops expecting to stay a while and were done much sooner than expected. The washing machines we chose accepted credit cards and took under 30 minutes for a full cycle. Next stop: dryers - also much faster than expected, under 35 minutes to finish. These machines also accepted credit cards. Plenty of clean folding tables at a decent height. The only thing we needed change for was the soap dispenser, which had a few decent choices. While we were there we only noticed one machine out-of-order, and there were plenty more to utilize, even on a busy Sunday morning trip.

Loading up all our towels in the two massive washers (10.75 each) and 2 loads of clothes in the smaller machines (6.50 each), and then transitioned those into compatible dryers (at 3.50 and 2.75 respectively). Ultimately getting 4 loads of laundry done in less than an hour and paying about $50 was a hit to the wallet but worth my time. The machines are very nice and the lovely lady that works there was a delight to chat with while our laundry ran and see was cleaning. Certainly will come back when the larger loads are a necessity.

Just recently, I was able to kill two birds with one stone with a great parking spot to boot during this years Raspberry Parade. It was ideal to do my laundry and watch the parade. Too hot, no problem, the laundry mat was cool inside. I would say and this is not reflexive on Megawave but customers should be more considerate and not leave their laundry in machines unattended for hours. That can be irritating when it is a busy day. Overall experience has been great.

The washers roared to life like caffeinated bears, and the dryers spun my clothes so fast I swear I saw them enter a new dimension. One sock tried to escape. A staff member tackled it mid-air like a laundry ninja. I named him Sock Norris. (Just kidding) but the staff is very attentive. The vending machine has snacks AND detergent, which is great because I'm the kind of person who thinks "Tide Pod" sounds like a cocktail. Also, the Wi-Fi is strong enough to stream three seasons of regret while you wait. And yes--they take digital payments. No more awkward quarter scavenger hunts or sacrificing a $20 bill to the change machine gods. I tapped my phone and boom: laundry enlightenment. If your clothes are dirty and your soul needs a rinse, this is the place. 10/10 would tumble dry my existential crisis here again.

It's relatively clean in here, with an attendant here most of the time. And of course it smells like laundry. They have an ATM, and coin machines that sometimes give you laundry tokens, quarters or a combination of the two. There's also some vending machines with small snacks. The restroom is locked so you have to ask for it to be opened. Plenty of room and folding space. There is a small parking lot on the side and some street parking as well. It's close to home and convenient so will continue to return to wash things that don't fit in my top loader at home.

Some of the machines appear newer too. There were two men walking around greeting people and sweeping the whole time I was here. I watched both of them hold doors for people as they went out and came in with their clothing. A woman came in with a very large rug and one of them helped her load it into the appropriate machine. They have extractors here, which I wish I would have used before putting my comforter in the dryer, but I wasn't sure about it. ‍ when I asked after it had gone through one cycle if I should pull it out of the dryer and put it in the extractor, the gentleman told me he thought at this point, it probably just needed more time. And proceeded to load the dryer with a dollar of not my money. While waiting for it he continued to check on me "one more?" :) It was very sweet. I don't think I've ever been spoken to at a laundromat before. This was a great experience. I will be back here when I have larger things to do.

If you get change for $20.00, you get two extra tokens. 1 token = $1.00. Clean. Easy. I arrive between 8 and 9 AM in Sunday morning. Two loads - in and out. As I am leaving the traffic picks up substantially. There is no attendant but I am fine with that. There are a lot of Spanish and French speaking people doing their laundry which I am also fine with.
