    Campsite #4

This RV park is on a working farm and was nice and quiet. There are just 7-8 RV spots in a natural setting with FHUs, and a couple are pull thru sites. The owners had delicious cookies waiting for us when we arrived, and delivered amazing scones to us the next morning! Yummm! We could walk around and see the animals, or hike up the hill behind the farm for beautiful views. A large grocery store and some restaurants are just 10 minutes away. Five minutes from Silverwood amusement park. One morning we woke up early enough to see 30 or more elk in the field 100 yards away from our campsite! Loved it, we will definitely be back.

    Farm life!

My wife and I spent 5 days enjoying Cedar Mountain Farm. We had made reservations to camp with our Jumping Jack tent trailer at site #5, and upon arrival were greeted with some amazing homemade cookies waiting for us! We proceeded to get to the know the farm a bit before heading off on our daily excursions...petting the goats, seeing the miniature Appaloosas, and meandering through the barn to see sheep and ducks. Later, we even found the rabbits. Our days were filled with visiting family, jet skiing on Lake Pend Oreille, zipling through the trees outside of Coeur d'Alene, and trying out Mennonite bakeries in Sandpoint and Bonners Ferry. We met co-owner Al, who was so much fun to talk to (unfortunately, we didn't get to meet Daryl). Camphost Vickie was amazing; she had mentioned that we might be able to see the *northern lights*, something that had somehow eluded us for decades depsite moderate effort to see them on our part. Well, we stayed up late with Vickie out in front of the farm, and were rewarded with FINALLY seeing them. THANK YOU VICKIE!!! (I'm attaching photos of the northern lights that Vickie took with her cell phone and sent to us fron the experience!). The combination of relaxing farm life and adventurous daily outings made this one of the best vacations we've ever taken. We will most certainly be back, and highly recemmend this amazing, warm, friendly sanctuary.

What a great place to stay and get away from it all. It was refreshing to have such gracious hosts, quiet surroundings and a great breakfast. I wish we had spent more than one night but we will definitely be back. There is careful thought put into all that is done at this bed and breakfast. The location is excellent, beautiful surroundings and plenty of farm for the kids too. I highly recommend staying here.

Cedar Mountain was the perfect relaxed environment our family needed to relax after a long day of Silverwood theme park. My son loved the animals, the beds were super comfy and our dog was allowed to sleep with us. Everyone was so kind and gracious. And the breakfast alone is worth the stay. Thank you so much Daryl and everyone else who made our family trip extra special.

Stayed here for a 1 year anniversary with the wife and we had a great time. The hosts here Al and Daryl are amazing people among some of the nicest you will ever meet. The house it's self is amazing and very nice inside and out that alone is worth the price to stay here. But then you add on to the fact that you have an amazing view, a farm with animals to see and some nice trails to hike on. Our room had a large jetted bath tub which was a really nice way to end our day. We then woke up to a really nice breakfast. If your gonna stay anywhere within 30 mins of here you may as well just stay in this bed and breakfast instead a hotel where your gonna pay about the same price anyway and not get all the nice things that come along with staying here. Can't say enough nice things about this place and the people who run it

What can we say about this magical place. After spending the day at Silverwood we decided to sleep nearby and found Cedar Mointain B&B. Daryl and Al were delightful as hosts and their farm is beautiful and filled with wonderful little animals that our kids adored. We will most definitely be back!

Daryl makes the place look so lovely with all the flowers and plats. Enjoy home grown fruits and veggies in your breakfast.

Just ate there. We purchased the godfather Pizza. First two items mentioned in the menu was red…read moresauce and cheese blend. I could not discern any red sauce or cheese blend on this pizza. It was less than 12 in across and a great deal of that was crust. The pepperonis were so done they were like pepperoni chips and it was salty very salty according to my husband and tasted burnt and Smokey. Now I'm assuming the Smokey was from the wood fire but still. We felt this pizza was inedible. We also had ordered two separate meals to go one was a noodle Alfredo and the other was a pesto noodle ravioli. We have not tried them yet. We hope they aren't as salty. My husband had the Caesar salad and it also was inedible due to the fact that it was made up with raw garlic which made it extremely hot. Maybe we're just wusses. My salad was the house salad with the house dressing which was a raspberry vinaigrette and I thought it was very good. At least it wasn't salty and it wasn't hot. There was no one in the restaurant but then again it was only around 2:00 in the afternoon and the fair was going on across the street. The single waiter was very personable and each one of those meals were $22 each. The pizza was 24. Very attractive place I'm sure it's an acquired taste for local people having been in business since 2016. It just was not our cup of tea. The thing that we like the best was the tablecloths. We packaged up the pizza to take home and I'm going to dump some sauce and some cheese on it and hope that we can make it more palatable so it's not a total waste of $24. UPDATE: Added red sauce, salami, and italian blend cheese to the pizza, it was at least palatable, but not what I'd call pizza. And just to make it clear, I'm not a fan of Dominos, Papa Murphy, or any other pizza place in CDA so far either so theres that... HAHA. But I have to change the rating of the restaurant because the PESTO RAVIOLI IS FANTASTIC!!!!! Simply SUPERB! And the noodles alfredo is fine as well. Not sure I agree with the value of $22 each....but still, totally yummy. The little "bruschetta" type bread slices with each are a nice addition as well. But....sincerely, the ravioli was TO DIE FOR. So credit where credit is due.

Friendly service from the owner. Tasty food. Nice ambiance. Small space with great energy.read more

You were inappropriate at the wedding. You were hitting on women at the wedding when you should have been at your DJ equipment doing the job I paid you to do. You didn't stick to the plan that I laid out for you which was really straightforward. You didn't stick to the playlist my wife spent hours and hours curating. You took advantage of me being nice and saying you could have drinks (doesn't mean spend half the night at the bar dude). You were rude to me and my wife for no reason. I hired you to do a job and you couldn't do it properly. You're lucky it was my wedding day and we wanted to ignore how poorly you performed your job. Man to man, good luck with your business and your family. As a customer/ business owner, I would never hire DJ D Mak again in my life.

I chose to plan all aspects of our wedding -- from the center pieces to the weekend schedule. That being said, we wanted our guests to enjoy our wedding, not feel obligated to help reset the room for our reception or run our errands. I met with Robyn 3 months before our wedding and instantly felt comfortable with her. She listened, took notes and fully understood how I (we) envisioned our wedding going. Because we live in Seattle and were getting married at Schweitzer Mountain (in North Idaho), we were limited to the number of visits we could make to our venue, even though we had been there several times. Robyn went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us. Visiting the venue with us for a walk through, then her own visit a week before our wedding to make sure things were coming together. She kept tabs on our vendors. She played the bad guy if someone wasn't doing what they needed to be doing. And she did it with such professionalism - honestly I wish I could have paid her in single dollar bills and with each one included a reason both her and Jessica are amazing. I'm not even to day of wedding execution! Have you ever been to a wedding where the bride and her bridesmaids are frantically trying to set tables or troubleshoot last minute issues? I woke up on the day of my wedding, cried happy tears and spent the morning giggling and drinking champagne with my favorite people. Jessica picked up some decor from our room and checked on me. Robyn stopped by to tell me everything was going as planned. There was not one moment that I doubted them. Our wedding went off without a hitch - or if there was one, I certainly wasn't aware of it. They set our reception room so beautifully, it was as if I did it myself. For someone as detail-oriented as myself, I never though I would relinquish control, and yet Team Red Letter put me at ease.
