Great very small quant place in ID hotel to stay each room has a different theme, ours was "gone fishing" small but great parking!

Just wow, hidden gem! Funky, quirky motel with themed rooms but incredibly comfortable (stayed in America unit). The bed was amazing, recliners in room, mini split air-conditioning, coffee pot, mini fridge and microwave, very clean!!! Nice chairs just outside door and wide ample parking spots. Perfect for deinking coffee while your dog enjoys his water bowl. Pets welcomed for $10 a night and great customer service. We found this little place as we drove through and thought why not (after our truck wouldn't fit in CDA resort parking), we had the best stay. Especially with the dog, so nice to be able to go in and out with no elevator, lobby or other guest. Nice open field across street to take dog to. This motel is literally in right downtown and 2 blocks for CDA resort. Nothing fancy but so comfortable, plus thick walls didn't hear neighbors. SAVE YOUR MONEY for tourist things and stay here! This will be our go to anytime we are in CDA. You can not beat the price, cleanliness and comfort.

    The Coeur d'Alene Resort - Room 1668

    The Coeur d'Alene Resort

My husband and I moved to the Spokane area earlier this year, so we have been excited to get to…read moreknow the surrounding areas. Coeur d' Alene has been on my list as everyone says how great it is. So, a friend flew to visit over the summer and we spent 2 nights at the resort in their North Wing room. Then another friend came to visit this month, so we returned (with a much better experience). Arrival: Both visits were easy and we self parked. Be aware that there is an elevator from the parking garage to the resort and it is not the same one that will bring you to your room. Easy if you don't have a lot of stuff, but one visit I brought my dog and I could have used a luggage cart. So unload up front and then go park. Check in: Very quick. No wait. On the 2nd stay we were allowed to check in early which was nice. Rooms: North Wing- yikes. It does say on the site it is for the "value minded traveler." It shows. Summer is expensive there and since we were going to be outside the majority of the time it wasn't horrible. However, the room is much like a motel with the window facing a walkway. Ours was right next to the elevator. ugh. The inside was just okay. As others have mentioned, it could use updating. My second stay we stayed in the Lake Tower Room with double beds and fireplace and balcony. It was lovely. Nice room, beds comfortable, but the best was the view. Housekeeping: Unfortunately, both stays no one came to service the room. The Lake Tower even had a button to push when you want it serviced. We were out of the room by late morning and had the button turned on. Oh well. When I called, they did offer to service the room but we were tired and wanted to relax. One minor thing is that there is quite the push for tipping. I believe it came in an email and text. Just thought it was tacky. I've never seen that done before. Amenities: Visited the outdoor Blu pool during the summer. It was busy. My friend and I found an area that was "adults only" (not near the pool) and enjoyed the lake more than the kids in the pool crowd. Restaurants: Dined at Beverly's and Dockside. I will write separate reviews for them. All positive and will be back. The pre fixe dinner (early bird) was a great deal at Beverly's! ***Only policy I would suggest a change on is their charge for pet fee. It's one of the highest I've paid (and I've stayed at 5 star resorts) There is a DAILY $75 fee (someone said they cap at $150). I understand a fee is necessary, but I think that is a bit over the top. Our pup is crated (and prefers it) so does not require that deep level of clean other dogs might need. It might be better to have a standard reasonable fee and then charge the owner if the animal's stay requires additional cleaning.

Around 8 p.m. I booked a room at One Lakeside. Unfortunately, I did not finish my work until 2 a.m. and was woken up at 7 a.m. by loud construction right outside my window. I had hoped to make the most of the morning by relaxing on the rooftop, but was told it would cost $30 for a wristband. Normally I would not mind, but after spending over $300 on a night of sleep I did not get, the extra fee felt unreasonable. When I expressed surprise, the front desk insisted they had told me at check-in, which is not true. I arrived at the hotel about five minutes after booking and no one mentioned it. If there was an email, it did not arrive before I got a phone call confirming my check-in time and giving me building access instructions. At check-in I received a printed sheet (pictured) that makes no mention of needing a wristband for the rooftop or hot tub. This information would have been helpful when booking. Additionally, taxes, fees, and parking charges were not disclosed on the booking site. I booked directly through Stash, which I believed to be their management company but might be affiliated with this hotel in some other way. Overall, I paid for a quiet and restful stay and ended up with an early wake-up, undisclosed charges, and unexpected access fees to use services that I was led to believe were included in my stay. It was a cute place and super clean. I would maybe stay again if construction weren't going on and they were most upfront about fees.

Abhorrent behavior from Erica, the so-called "manager" at the front desk…read more We booked directly through the hotel's own website and got an official confirmation from SynXis (their reservation system). A few days later, Erica called and said our first night was CANCELLED because they were "overbooked." That's not my problem that's a management screw-up by having a negative inventory open. Instead of fixing the issue, offering another room type, or at least trying to make it right, Erica flat out refused to help. She doubled down, told us to "look elsewhere," and then hung up on us. This was ONE night we needed. We had the rest of the week booked, but they decided we were the ones to cut. (More than likely due to us booking directly, since they would catch a fine cancelling a Expedia or third party booking) Disgusting attitude, zero professionalism. If this is how management treats guests, don't expect any hospitality here.

This is a really nice hotel in Coeur d'Alene Idaho…read more It's located off of riverfront Drive. In a nice new development. It's close to the college, and also close to downtown Coeur d'Alene. The hotel is really large, they have good sized rooms, as well as suites and suite-ettes. There's also a pool, and a fitness center. I did use the fitness center while I was here and the equipment that they have is really nice and plenty enough to get you a good workout. The staff was also super friendly, professional, and helpful. So what brings this location down to four stars? The parking lot. The parking lot is really small, especially for how large the hotel is. They do have overflow parking a few parking lots over, but that was also full One of the nights that I stayed here. They have a side parking lot, but that is shared with McDonald's, and you can't park in the majority of the spaces in that parking lot as a hotel guest. This meant that I ended up parking on the street one of the nights that I was here. Which is annoying especially when you paid for a hotel room, you think you've also paid for a place to park your car. Overall, I would stay here again. But beware the parking lot.

It was terrible. The rest of the breakfast was the usual hotel bit- powdered eggs, sausage & a rotating side (potatoes day 1 & French toast sticks day 2), boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, bread, bagels, scones, cereal and a waffle maker. Boiled egg & plain yogurt w/ fresh blueberries for the win & tossed the coffee. We had a King room. It had a fridge, dishes, dishwasher, modular sofa with chaise - and bit tight for an extended stay or family but ideal for our short time. The TV was on a side wall with the sofa and bed facing each other. If you watch tv, might be uncomfortable. The pool and hot tub are open til midnight. The dispensers at the sink were empty but the shower ones were full & we brought our own. We weren't there for the evening reception but guests were raving about it - apparently a lot of appetizers and drinks - plus a good time. This was a comped room with points (40k for days) Free parking, breakfast and evening reception Lots of diamond elite & compact car parking Light touch housekeeping M-F, none on weekends, set day 1x weekly deep cleaning for stays +7 days Very friendly staff all shifts.
