For reference, I've been to 5 weddings this year. I'm 42 -- so I've been to a boatload of weddings over the past several years. I'm also in sales and plan & host several events for clients throughout the year. I have worked with some amazing people and some that are not so amazing. Hands down I have NEVER worked with or attended an event run by someone as unprofessional as the person running this venue. Examples: - talking negatively about the Maid of Honor in front of me (discussion between her and the bartender as I was standing there) - when I asked if there was someone that could help with the garbage can, she responded "I don't get paid to take out the trash". (The MOH was emptying a large trash can in her dress, I thought it'd be nice if someone could help.) - telling me how the bride "re-nigged" on things on her contract (just to clarify -- I was not part of the planning process, I had nothing to do with what was or was not in the contract and the owner did not know I was family. Why would she ever say something like that to me? The night ended with her asking me to leave when I questioned why she said "guests were taking knives to the chairs." In truth, one of the friends helping clean up was removing bows that had been zip tied to the metal frame of the chairs with nippers. Kind of funny - the first time I get kicked out of a venue and I didn't even raise my voice or get drunk and disorderly. I would sincerely tell anyone who is considering this venue to proceed with caution -- which is unfortunate because the venue itself is absolutely adorable.

The female owner, Sheri, went above and beyond to ruin the day. The atrocities committed were absolutely ridiculous, childish and again unprofessional to the extent that I would rather not detail or publicize. However, significant enough that I am still committed to writing this review several months later due to the negativity and horror the entire wedding party and guests endured at the time. I would wish the cruelty of this establishment upon no one, please be forewarned.
