I was so pleased and impressed with my visit to Cedar Ridge Salon today! My color touch up and cut are great--thank you Michella! This was my first hair appointment since COVID/shelter-in-place and I wasn't sure what it would be like. Cedar Ridge Salon exceeded my expectations with their attentiveness to staff and client safety. The night before my appointment I received a symptom survey by text. I was asked to wait in my car instead of the salon if I arrived early. When I got to the salon I was instructed to use hand sanitizer upon entering and my temperature was taken. I was the only client in the salon most of the time I was there and when another stylist and client arrived they were able to used the second room. I wore cloth mask in and I was given a disposable mask to wear during the coloring process so I didn't ruin my cloth mask. The chair and hair washing station were cleaned before and after I used them. The salon owner told me that she is using special A/C filters that cut down on germs. When I paid they even had a new clean pen for each client, and a separate area to leave the used/dirty pens. It is clear that lots of thought and care has gone into making sure staff and clients are at the lowest risk possible! I would highly, highly recommend patronizing this business! read more

Great experience all around! Georgia went above and beyond my expectations. It had been way too long since my last trip to a salon and she worked magic on my damaged hair! She was friendly and funny and I could tell she really loves her job. She made me feel comfortable immediately and the salon was very welcoming. I went to Cedar Ridge Salon the other day on a whim. My hair was a mess (multiple layers and lots of texturing from previous salons) and was fortunate to get an appointment for a cut and color with Georgia. I felt at ease with her recommendations and appreciated her professionalism in assessing what had previously been done. She worked her magic (for nearly 90 minutes) and I left with a very pretty bayalage and easy-to-manage style that I love!!!! Not to mention we shared some amazing conversations. I moved from Vegas a few months ago and I'm always nervous when I move and have to find someone new to fix my hair. I'm so happy I have found an excellent colorist and stylist in Kellie at Cedar Ridge Salon. She really listened to what i wanted and I love the new color she did for me. I had a great experience with Georgia as my hair stylist earlier today. I went in to have my grey roots covered and make a small but noticible change in my appearance. She helped me pick the right rusty red color to turn my blond ombre into a red ombre. I was so happy with the way it freshened up my look. I've been Michella's client for over 5 years now. She feels like a sister to me at this point! She's always enthusiastic about my new hair style ideas, even strategically placed streaks of rainbow colors like blue or purple, and her fees are very affordable. I love Kelly, and Michella, and this beautiful place that I'm lucky to call my salon. I have pretty easy, straightforward Asian hair that I get trimmed and layered by Kelly, and always walk out feeling like a new person. It always feels good to get rid of those old, split ends, but it feels even better when you're in such great company. The products they use here smell wonderful and do well to keep that "freshly cut" look even through the next day. Love Micjella and her crew. She is prompt in calling back to schedule an appointment. She usually gets you in within a day or two. She is quick and reasonably priced. It is a little bit farther out of my way but I am willing to make the longer drive to receive the great service and friendliness that she provides. She is someone who is very connected with the community, has a lot of knowledge of local/community offerings and the latest and greatest GV news and tid bits about our community. For example; new stores, new restaurants, up and coming businesses, data on schools, community resources. Where to go to get what you want of the info you need. Also as a business owner she cross promotes other local businesses and genuinely is a community minded person. read more

A CLASS ACT ALL THE WAY I happened upon this lovely salon shortly after moving to the area from LA, and what a find it is! Michella runs the spa/salon beautifully, and Jentrie Adams is a wizard of a colorist! I've wrestled with high end colorists in Beverly HIlls for years and never been quite satisfied, but Jentrie got it right the first time. She is sensitive, intuitive, and skilled and I couldn't be happier with the work she did, including the cut. I finally got the hair I wanted. And she's sweet as well! I was so impressed that I made my an appointment for my husband to receive a hot lather shave. He also said he would go back each time we are in the area. this place really sucks! michella did such a bad job on my cut and color that i had to go to a salon in sacramento to have it fixed! she says she is an expert... no way !! she needs to have some schooling and some customer service training!! michella was so aggressive and so rude .she was to involved chatting with the other people in the salon and whatever else was going on than paying attention to me and what i wanted to have done with my hair and what i was paying for! michella really needs some business and management skills to continue to run a successful business! my friends and i will not be returning to the cedar ridge salon and we will be spreading the word through nevada county and the surrounding areas! this place really needs to be shut down! maybe someone should be looking into their business affairs and whats going on with the business... something seems funny if you think about it! she really sucks ...how has she become so successful...thank you for reading read more
