Great place to get your boards full tuned! If they're not too busy you can usually get your board back same day! $25 for full tune, sharpened edges and waxed. Cheaper than rei in ca ($35). They also helped me fix a chip on my board for free. Highly recommend coming through here if you're in the area. read more

I cannot be more than pleased with this location. We were visiting in and did not bring equipment to go snowboarding. They had top-of-the-line equipment rentals and their shop to purchase had a variety to purchase. Each person that helped us out was so pleasant and welcoming could not be more happier with this location. Love this ski shop entire staff was helpful we had my son Tyler skis tuned up while we shopped ended up buying two pairs of boa boots, pants, jacket, ski poles and gloves. Terrin was so helpful he fitted my son and I, heated up our boots for a "perfect" custom fit. This team is the best we will definitely be back. Best store ever!!! Came here for rentals and new gear. The selection was over the top for both. We had 5 kids and 5 adults in our group. They got us all outfitted in 20 minutes with smiles on their faces! We returned the next day to trade out skis for snowboards for two adults and they did it in less than 5 minutes. The store smells amazing, like cedar, has a fireplace and snacks for kids. What more could you want! Not too mention we saved a lot of time, money and stress hitting this store up before Brian Head. I went to their site off of their Yelp review. They advertise rentals for kids at $10, Students at $20, and regular rentals at $30. Sadly, that is not what you get when you start the rental process. Kids are $20, Students are $39, and there is no regular rental so the cheapest one for adults is $68. Surely this must be a mistake because you can rent at Brian Head for their advertised rates. We had to pass on these high prices. Hopefully it is a computer mistake... And it turns out it was. They got in touch with me rather quickly and confirmed that they had recently updated their web page and some numbers were put in there incorrectly. I'll be giving them a chance after all and will update my review after the rental. read more

This is best place to rent gear before heading up to Brianhead. Everyone is super nice. Rentals are very affordable. We used to wait until we got to the resort to rent but lines were long and rental price somewhat steep. My niece who lives in Cedar City (we are from California) told us about this place and now we will never go anywhere else. read more

Stopped by Cedar Sports to try on new ski boots. My boots are 20+ years old, worn out and pinch my big calves. Teron was extremely kind and educated me on different brands. We ended up buying a pair and renting the rest of my family's gear here. Toronto also talked to us about the current weather and what skis would be better for the conditions. My 4 brothers and I came up to Cedar to go mountain biking and needed to rent 3 mountain bikes. Cedar Sport had two bikes and Cedar Cycle had the other one we needed, so we went to both Cedar Sports shop and Cedar Cycle shop.... the experience between the two was so drastic. Cedar Sports was professional, helpful with maps and trails, much cheaper than Cedar Cycle, and Cedar Sports customer service was awesome. My husband found this shop online while searching for ski equipment. For selfish reasons, I really didn't want to post a positive review. I wanted to keep this little gem to myself. We came in Saturday and Camry & Audrey were great. They were so friendly and helpful, taking their time to make sure our family of four were fitted properly with ski equipment. They even offered us help to the car! Couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience The store had good equipment & a nice variety. I found them via Google maps search for "ski shop" in Cedar and called before our ski trip to Brian Head to confirm he could mount my bindings. Our estimated arrival time for our 8hr road trip just so happened to be during their off-hours on Sunday afternoon, but he offered to meet us there anyway. When we arrived there were about 10 others waiting in the parking lot. I expected to end up waiting behind them since they were there first. However as soon as I walked in with my skis, David knew it was me and grabbed them and got to work. While he was doing the mounting, I was amazed at how efficiently his staff provided rental gear to the big group ahead of us. For a small town family owned shop, they had a pretty impressive selection of clothing and gear, as well as fair prices. Definitely worth the stop! read more

When I went in I was looking for boots and bindings for my new snowboard. I was helped with the staff and they got me setup with trying on the boots. The employee Steven did his best and helped me get fully set up. He told me what he recommended and why and showed me the differences. He was super helpful and super informative of what is good and why it's good. I am new to snowboarding and he helped me understand what I needed and what's important. We needed to rent skis for our two girls. For some reason that process stresses me out. For the first time, we were in and out in less then 15 minutes. The fit was perfect and the kids were happy. The customer service here is incredible. It really felt like everyone there enjoyed their job. The owner should feel very lucky to have employees that represent his business so well. This place is amazing! Cheaper prices than Brian head and amazing staff to help you out! Special shoutout to a staff member named Cory. Not only did he wait an extra ten minutes for us after closing so we could return our snowboarding boots, but he also offered a refund for the days we didn't end up using the boots because we happened to cut our trip short.
