Another concern was what appeared to be a high turnover of instructors during the time my son was enrolled. Frequent changes in teachers made it difficult to maintain consistency in instruction and the student-teacher relationship. Overall, I was disappointed with the level of communication, responsiveness, and continuity of instruction. Based on my experience, I would encourage prospective customers to carefully evaluate whether this music school meets their expectations before enrolling.

When she called, she spoke directly with Jason, and he answered all her questions. They got me signed up for my first lesson pretty quickly after that, and the rest is history. The curriculum Jason pulled together has helped me improve my skills while exposing me to new and interesting musical genres. However, my experience would be nothing without my instructor, Jin. He is an excellent guitarist in his own right and an excellent teacher as well. I came in with a smattering of guitar knowledge (had been playing for ~10 years before signing up and was largely self-taught), and Jin knew how to take what I already knew and combine it with everything the curriculum had to offer, dramatically improving my playing. I'm now able to do more than just look at a chord sheet and strum along or slowly make my way through a tab. I'm able to listen to a song, understand it, and am slowly but surely getting to a point where I can start transcribing by ear. Jin has been integral to this process, and I appreciate all the insight and help he has provided. If you are interested in either learning how to play guitar or improving your skills, Guitar Ninjas is the way to do it. I don't believe anyone should be treated with disrespect just because they are purchasing a lower-priced instrument.
