We had our Mom's Celebration of Life luncheon here and it could not have been better. They were so easy to work with ahead of time working with us on Video to be played continuously, music, a toast with a shot for everyone, microphone for eulogies and much more. The Food!?! OMG people are still talking about the food weeks later and if you have an event do yourself a favor and upgrade to the beef brisket I think it was and don't forget the roasted potatoes- heaven. Also the complimets we heard is about the staff and we agree. The staff was not only quick and efficient, you had no idea that they were there. "how was my water glass never empty" was a comment we heard often. The space is also just beautiful and helped make our difficult day that much easier and memorable. Oh and out front of the building they had, on their sign, a message saying "Celebrating the life of (mom's name)". Nice touch. read more

We just had our wedding at Cefalo's this past weekend and it was First Class. Sixty guests attended. The owners, Lenny and Dean and Amy, the Manager, were fantastic to work with and made the event everything we dreamed of. We felt very welcome throughout the planning. Cefalo's is a beautiful place to hold a wedding ceremony then dine on fantastic food cooked up by Dean and served by his staff in their dining room. After dinner, you can spend the rest of the evening partying the ballroom. They offer all the services, (or can recommend) you need when planning a wedding. For us and our guests, it was super convenient and easier to have everything for the wedding in one beautiful setting. The food, the hor's d'oeuvres, and entrees was amazing. There's also a huge bar attended by professional bartenders. The food servers were friendly, professional and very attentive. We received so many compliments from our guests on both the food and service. Many said that was the best food they ever had at a wedding! Fantastic experience. When I think of large buffet dinners I usually think- overcooked veggies, cold pasta with sauce, dry chicken, limp lettuce... BUT I am literally shocked at how wonderful the buffet was at Cefalo's and they have changed my mind about buffets. The chicken (thick breasts) were all hot and moist, veggies crisp with a sweet sauce, Mac-n-Cheese hot and sauce still gooey, salad crisp and fresh- I could go on. On TOP of the amazing food, the ambience was lovely- candles, tablecloths, staff all in clean, ironed uniforms and they were so nice. Let me tell you, if you DON'T add them to your list of places to research when planning your event, then go have limp lettuce somewhere else! Attended a funeral luncheon at the banquet hall and the atmosphere and food were absolutely spectacular. Although we are from out-of-town, I hope to enjoy their delicious food again in the future. Attended a "Craft Beer University" fundraiser at this location last night and it was awesome! The beer portion of the event is always great but the host usually requests pasta for all us attendees. In exciting news, the head chef recommended a switch and offered a charcuterie board with pairings that were AWESOME with the craft beers. IMO, that small change took this great fundraiser and made it an event that I will never want to miss year after year. It's family owned and operated (and I think that means something) and if I could have my wedding all over again, I would hands down choose this venue because you can tell they CARE about everyone's enjoyment and satisfaction. I can't begin to express how wonderful our Memorial was on June 25th for my dear friend who had passed. The food was amazing, the staff were wonderful and no need went unanswered. The facility is beautiful and immaculate. If there was a ten rating I would give them a ten!! I can not say enough about the experience! We had a sports banquet and trust me we were not an easy customer. Changes and more changes but Dean, Len and Amy were gracious and hospitable. I attended a wedding last night at Cefalo's. This was the first time I had ever been to this charming banquet facility (it's in a converted stone façade church) and I was very pleased with my experience as a guest. We used the available valet parking which was a convenience I appreciated. Instead of describing the rooms myself, I recommend that you visit their website and view the pictures there to get an idea of the interiors and examples of different event layouts. I loved the large stained glass windows behind the bar and I also thought that the balcony that overlooks the room that was used to announce the bridal party was a nice feature. I felt the balcony was a little dark when the bridal party was announced but it looks better lit in the pictures on the website so maybe that isn't always the case? I thought the food was excellent. During cocktails, each appetizer that was brought around to the tables was more delicious than the one before! For dinner, everyone at my table had either steak or chicken and all agreed that their meals were very good and that the portions were quite large. My chicken was nicely cooked, very juicy and delicious! This was the best meal that I can recall ever having at a wedding! I also really enjoyed the almond cake that was served (not too sweet!). Every staff member I encountered was very personable. The food and drink was served quickly and always with a smile. On the way out we met Len (one of the owners) and I was glad to get the chance to tell him how much I enjoyed my evening as a guest at his venue! read more

Had our wedding there and it was amazing!!! It was so convenient being able to do the ceremony, dinner, and reception all in one place. Having everything together made the planning less stressful and the guests were very appreciative for not having to run around to different locations. The venue is very nice. The food was amazing. Lenny (the owner) was such a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating and helps with planning so didn't even need a wedding planner. Very affordable too compared to other venues we looked at. I had my 40th class reunion here on Saturday night. What a great venue! It was perfect for our group (which was about 100 people). It's an old church with beautiful stained glass windows and lots of different seating areas. They had a great sound system too. We had a cash bar and lighter food since we didn't have the resources to have a sit down dinner. By the way, Len Cefalo, the owner of this wonderful space, worked with us and was so accommodating since we didn't actually know how many were actually going to attend. I had my son's Bar Mitzvah Party at Cefalos and I can not say enough good things about the owners and their staff. Not only is the place beautiful, the food is amazing. I only heard great things about everything that was served. But for my family, what made the night even more special was Len and his staff. We felt like our party was their party and they were going to make sure it was the best party ever! The service they gave us was above and beyond anything I could have asked for. NIce looking venue but what a disappointment. Awful food. My "new york strip" was the approximate shape of the state of Virginia and full of gristle and fat, in no way a strip steak at all. I don't know who they thought they were fooling. Ordered medium rare and it came out well done as well as mushy. And no I didn't send it back sicne they couldn't even get the cut right. Garlic potatoes were food service or at least tasted that bad. My husband ordered the pork loin with Thai sauce, which was ridiculously dry and tough. The lobster bisque is good but not worth coming to such a bad place. The staff could use some manners too, and something better to wear than black t-shirts and pants. Yelling across the room for more menus etc, is a shame as such a nice looking place. It certainly isn't the classy "rat pack" dinner club that the website claims. read more

The steaks were cooked to perfection and the crab cakes were just delicious. Last weekend I went to a wedding reception at Cefalo's and the venue is perfect! I had been told up and coming to the wedding that it was an awesome venue with great food and I would have a blast. The place did not disappoint! When we walked in there was a nice dance-floor area and the bar to the back. One of the most unique parts of the reception was the balcony area where the wedding party was announced. It was a great perspective of the party and well equipped with food and drinks. After the hour or so of drinks we headed into the banquet room for dinner, again living up to its reputation. On the menu was turkey and salmon. I went turkey, it had to be the biggest piece of turkey I ever had and definitely one of the best. I heard from others the salmon was the best they ever had.... In summation Cefalo's has a great layout to their venue, a staff that were on point all night and a chef that knows how to make some kick a** food!
