The critic earlier that this studio is non-technical re ballet and jazz is complete bunk. My cousin is a retired soloist from the New York City Ballet and she raves about my daughters' ballet and jazz technique- thanks to the Elite studio. The Elite instructors (Lynn, Lori, Becca, Summer, Jessica, Jesika, Mackenzie, Madison, and Jen) are amazing. They take time to watch my daughters' school plays, perform in other activities, and even meet up for fun days at Disneyland. As parents, my wife and I are thrilled that the Elite instructors teach our daughters love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control - in addition to disciplined dance techniques. And, Elite instructors design age appropriate competition and recital dance routines - which as a dad I really appreciate. We live in Newport Beach, and we still drive to Elite in Orange four to five days a week so our daughters can be trained by this amazing studio.

If you're looking for your toddler to do something and live nearby, I recommend. It's cute. I wish there was something more long term for them with adaptation of this class. This place is more performance based rather than being overly competitive. We do come from a very competitive background, but we are taking a break and decided to try this out before our move. It seems like a fine studio.

The classes are huge, which gives everyone less stage time than feels reasonable given the financial and time commitment that the shows take. The casting for kids with speaking roles is handled poorly and casting is sometimes clearly based on grade level and family/friend relationships within the studio. The teachers here are patient, helpful, and never condescending. I've never felt like my daughter is being left behind or left out, if she can't do something yet, they help her with it until she gets it. This is the perfect studio for parents who want their child to do something extra without the real pressure of "professional" dance. They are learning all the correct moves while not feeling like it's the end of the world if they mess up, because they are supported by the other dancers and their teachers. I also prefer the schedule here compared to other studios because they have 3 locations and a wide variety of classes to take and times to take them.
