I'm glad it is now the site for Saint Bread and the structure behind functioned as an events venue. Many independent businesses today were onsite for the Plan C Bake Sale to support reproductive organizations and services threatened by the current Roe v Wade political climate. And boy, did greater Seattle show up en masse! Fellow Yelp Elite/IG friend, Wendy K accompanied me this morning as we waited in a long line to attend and show our support on this blustery Sunday morning (6/5/22). There were complimentary bottled water, plant based chocolate beverages, and coffee. A plethora of quality baked items were available for purchase, as well as, kombucha, flowers, chocolates, condiments, and coffee beans. Between the two of us, we were able to cover the majority of the participating businesseses. A big success for all the organizers and participants. Observing just the first hour onsite, demonstrated the public support via their attendance and contributions. Easily participating indie vendors could have had doubled or tripled their par numbers for this unique event. First time to attend such a gathering in Seattle! Kudos to all the event organizers and participants!

I shopped around in Seattle and Bothell--and Cherry Falls had far more ambiance at a better price than the big city offerings. We liked the large windows in the back that showed the trees and forest (our family member who passed was an avid hiker and outdoor lover). There is a kitchen that includes a 30-cup coffee maker, as well as two lovely water dispensers, and much more. There is a large screen with the electronics and speakers to show a slide show or movie. The parking lot is huge, the place is easy to find, right off the road, but it feels peaceful and secluded. The proprietor, Autumn, met us there to go through the electronics and the other details, and before I showed with all my snacks and flowers, she'd already put white tablecloths on all five (huge) tables, and pulled out additional smaller tables for pictures and memorabilia. Everything was spotlessly clean, including a large bathroom and cloakroom. Really, we couldn't have asked for more. I whole-heartedly recommend this venue!

The food was catered from an outside vendor, so looks like you can bring all the outside needs you have! Only wish they had a larger parking lot. It's a wonderful place to swim and relax and see our neighborhood friends at the lake. Some new staff over the past few years have soured the experience some and it's simply heartbreaking. At $400/year with an additional $365 fee (for a repair that has yet to happen) you'd think that they'd be kinder to members: willing ask questions to find out more information, give members the benefit of the doubt or simply just speak to them kindly. But no, several times these new staff members have been aggressive, combative and simply unkind. Especially so to my teenager, a rule following card carrying member. Every time she comes by, she gets yelled at and told that she's not following the rules, which seem to change from person to person, day to day. It's just too bad when something you've adored for so long and was once a place of peace is now a place where entitled staff consistently find new ways to be less than kind to their customers.

Came for the opening of this shiny new spot yesterday. A gorgeous 3,000 square foot event space that was completely remodeled: with in house catering, vendors, event planners, photo booths, musician! And the food. It was like going to a super fun wedding minus the formality of it. The owner was there as well: super passionate and shared the story of how she bought this space sight unseen: took a long process in turning this into a gorgeous space that it is now. It was super cool! And the food!! They allow outside catering too but the in-house catering: Kaspar catering : baos topped with micro greens and mint. Steamed to serve! Poke rolls :delicious! Panna cotta : in a cup! Lisa Dupar catering: this one was fantastic as I've had a chance to taste their food in the past at a wedding. The gorgeous cupcakes, macarons, molasses cookies and stunning cake. All were so pretty! Mark ryan wine! I mean, what's not to love as it's one of the wineries I frequent in Woodinville wine country. My pup baci's favorite too. Luxe Photo Booth: this one was so fun! The 360 Photo Booth!! I've seen them in Time Squares recently as well as at a valentines event. But this one was so much more fun as I didn't have to wait in line or fight the crowd for it. The person that was running it was super friendly and helpful too. The jazz musician was pretty rad too. And they had valet!! Butler Valet: All the friendly guys in uniform waiting for you as you arrived during rush hour in downtown: pretty darn cool. All events should be this cool. I'm only going to events with valet from now on! Ok thanks. Overall, this was such a fun place.I came to check out the space: left with all the food and fun.The space, the team, the design, the music!! There is an ATM machine that takes a physical credit/debit card to withdraw cash to exchange for quarters but I'm guessing they'll charge a fee. Check their open hours online. In general, all ages are welcome until 8pm. Beer, cider, non-alcoholic drinks are available and a few other goodies. Including 2 groovy bathrooms on site that are of course covered with stickers.
