A few weeks ago, I hired Celebrity Limousine for a bachelorette party. Normally, I always consult with my fellow "Yelpers," however, that was not the case this time. Before writing this review, I did read the other reviews and while I sympathize greatly, I have to say that my experience was the complete opposite. The limo, the cost and the timeliness were all as to be expected. The driver, Frank, surpassed my expectations. A few days prior to the party, I was in contact with Brandon. I had explained to him that I would need the limo to pick up the bride and bridesmaids at a hotel just outside of Boston and then make a special trip back up to RI so that we could pick up a group of people who were not staying in the hotel but also not wanting to drink and drive the night of, and then we would all head back to Boston to party the night away. Of course, this meant that if a pick up was being done in RI, that a drop off would also be needed. Brandon was very accommodating. We discussed cost, tip and time. Whenever I had a question, I was able to text Brandon and he was very response and polite. The day of the wedding (Brandon had mentioned that the driver would be in touch with me), I had received a text from Frank who had introduced himself and confirmed the time he would be arriving at the hotel for pickup. Sure enough, he was on time, if not a little early. Frank was very polite and very professional. The limo was very nice and clean. Throughout the night we had made several stops and Frank was always patient and never let on that us girls were probably a huge pain in the you know what lol. Good job Frank! At the end of the night when we were leaving the club, we were all chatting with some guys. One of the guys could not take the un- subtle hint I was leaving to walk away. Frank caught right on to this and stepped up. He came right up to us and asked the guy to leave. Message received. I'm pretty sure we all considered Frank part of the group! It is unfortunate to the others who had negative experiences. I am thrilled that we did not have to endure any of those issues. I would absolutely use them again for any future limo services. Wonderful experience using Celebrity Limousine. I booked a Party Bus for my daughter's 21st birthday. I was late getting the PB organized and booked. The owner, Brandon, was incredible. From my first panicky text to the end of the evening. He was excellent at communicating quickly. Delivered a super decked out party bus. Our driver Marlyn was terrific! His answer to every question was 'sure, no problem, don't worry about it". He really made my stress level non existent while driving to different spots on crowded streets in Boston..parking..timing etc..When I asked my daughter how her birthday celebration turned out? She said 'I just wish we had more time on the party bus to drive around the city while we partied. The dance floor on the bus was great and the sound system was amazing! ZERO STARS! How are they still in business after all the reviews? Shame on me for not following up on their reviews prior to my daughter booking them for Prom this past Friday evening, 5/31/19. We reserved a 36-passenger Party Bus back in March. Brandon, the owner, called me an hour an a half before pick up time to tell me the 36-passenger bus was not running. OK, he will then send us 2, 20-passenger buses in its place. So 1 bus shows up LATE, it was a 14-passenger Shuttle. 15 minutes, I get another call from Brandon that the second "20" passenger bus broke down in Bristol....WHAT!?!?!?! What a scam! Thank God I didn't pay in full and only had to insist on my deposit back. This company left 36 High School Kids stranded! Us parents had to take some of the kids and others drove themselves. This might be the worst limo "service", and I use that term VERY loosely that I've ever encountered. So, the ex-love of my life decides to celebrate her birthday in style. She wants to go out with her friends and enjoy life like a B-list celebrity. Can't go wrong with a classy limo right? Wrong. Dead Wrong. The driver, who was generously fed dinner paid for by the patrons of the limo told us that a small piece of frosting that we were trying to clean up after the night was "all set, don't worry about it". They then charged us an extra $150 dollars for a vacuuming fee!! They were late, had no idea where they were going. How do you not know how to drive when that is literally the only part of your job? And the owner of the company is an arrogant prick. Go here if you feel like getting charged extra money for tracking dirt into the vehicle or something stupid like that. The absolute worst. We paid $840 for a 20 minute ride to the casino. A couple of the guys got tired and went back to the limousine to wait for the rest of the party. The driver demanded $300 to let them sit or he was going to leave everyone. When we called to complain today we were told by Brandon that it was an acceptable practice. I contacted Celebrity Limousine after another transportation company canceled last minute. Initially, I was excited he still had a vehicle available on 4 days notice. However almost immediately he requested a $300 deposit without anything in writing, no contract, no outline of services, price per hour anything. When I asked for more details in writing his response was a link to a list of "Terms" provided by a business he was operating under a different name which included a requirement to pay him in cash the day of before anything else. Most infuriating and concerning of all, I began to receive text messages throughout the day culminating in a nasty message which said: "and that's why we don't take the time to write it up without a deposit". The only people who get treated like celebrities are the people who work there because they are self-righteous, inattentative, and have no sense of legitimate conflict resolution. We ordered a party bus which was 45 minutes late, arrived at 10:45. The drive is from Providence to Boston!!!! There was NO ICE in the buckets where we clearly stated there was supposed to be. We circled Boston (all around the Boston Bridge) for over an hour LOST before they dropped us at our destination (left us less than an hour to enjoy our "VIP" if you would even call it that). They had no sense of navigation and wouldn't admit to their mistake...blaming it on a road being blocked off that was not. Liars!!! Such a rip off. Do not even bother. The services are menial, and they are not PUNCTUAL which is the most important aspect of their business. Wasting our money wasn't even the worst part. The worst part was my friend's birthday being entirely ruined and overrun by Celebrity Limousine. If you email them, expect them to try and belittle you with their non-negotiable and defensive antic. Effort and empathy go a long way, maybe even an addition of two stars way...but no, they would rather deny deny deny. You can find more negative reviews, that exemplify the SAME ISSUES, on Citysearch, clearly there is a pattern. You can also tell that a few of the positive reviews are fake, fyi. After reading all the reviews on other websites i was nervous i was going to get scammed by this company. Turns out our service was great we took 14 people to countryfest along with 4 coolers, chairs for everyone, tables, and food. we were able to fit all of this in our 18-20 passenger limo, which we got a GREAT deal on. Horrible experience. Driver unprofessional. Dressed in jeans. Didn't know how to operate party bus lights, or put music on for prom kids, got lost and needed help from teens. Alcohol was left on bus from previous use . Party bus was not cleaned. When teens returned to bus for ride home, bus smelled of marjuana. I got married last month and my in-laws were gracious enough to book a limo/car service for my husband I, as things were expensive and they wanted us to have a limo for our big day. First, the limo arrived at our pick up location and when the driver got out of the car my dad was shocked. The driver was in an over sized/worn black t-shirt and sweats. He did not look presentable at all and looked so un-kept. He waited at the venue for the ceremony and then took my husband and I to the reception location when the ceremony had ended. My in-laws paid for champagne service as well. The driver broke one of the glasses and my husband was given a random plastic martini glass instead. I have no clue where it even came from or if it had been used before. Prior to the wedding we had given him the details for our pickup and drop off locations. As we left the ceremony, he drove us to the wrong location at the end of a residential neighborhood and said "we're here". We had told him numerous times this was not the venue and that we passed the street a ways back. He was almost arguing with us that we were the ones who were wrong. As a result, we had the photographer and wedding party waiting for us to start taking pictures and were on a strict time limit. Next, this same driver was to come back at the end of the reception to drive my husband and I home for the night. The ceremony had ended and all our guests had left and we were stuck at the venue waiting for our ride. We called the number provided and were told "he would be right there". We waited about 25-30 min for him to come and were holding up the staff at our venue. When we got into the car finally, it smelled like an ashtray and the driver seemed out of it. Finally, the icing on the cake of the night was that the entire ride home the driver was talking to us about how much weed he smoked and that he does it numerous times a day. Although this was incredibly unprofessional, my husband and I did not engage in the conversation. Then the driver proceeds to open his backpack (while driving) and tried to hand me a large mason jar of weed saying "smell that good shit". I was mortified as I have never done drugs and also could not wrap my head around the fact this was happening from a PROFESSIONAL COMPANY. I could not wait to get to our final stop and get out of the car immediately. As we arrived and got out, the driver handed us his business card and said "hit me up anytime you want to smoke". The absolute last thing I felt on my wedding night was NOTHING close to a "Celebrity". Never again will I use this company or refer to anyone in the area. Okay..... so where to begin..... let's start with the shady cash transaction part of our dealings with "company". Leading into this my Grooms Lady and set up the date and time of everything and was told through texts that a driver would contact her the day before to confirm. The person she spoke to on the phone stated that "everything we needed to know" was in the email she never got. (And still have not received ). When the limo arrived the driver was polite at first. Once inside the limo we could see it was clearly a well used limo ( which we did not mind at all). Once we started trying to operate any of the controls absolutely nothing worked with the exception of the bar lights. A/C was working periodically. One one the handles on the inside of the Limo was also broken. The driver informed us he would call a "technician". He then informed us the the limo was not equipped with the lights that would periodically flash. So they obviously just didn't work. We ended up spending most of the ride with the windows down. We ask the driver to please find a place we could stop and use the bathroom (as it was an almost 2 hour ride with traffic to our destination). He proceeds to pull over on the side of the hi-way and stop the car. Thank you for considering my Grooms Lady. When we exited the limo to use the "bathroom " the weather striping on the door fell off and would not go back on . So we spent the rest of the ride with the weather striping hanging inside the limo ( pic included). Once we arrived at the hotel the driver became hostel with us and told us that the weather striping was perfectly fine until we got out for our bathroom break. The next morning my Grooms Lady wakes up to a text message saying we have been charged 600 dollars for a cracked touch screen . Which never worked in the first place. The only nice thing I can say about any part of the experience with this company was the driver (Jay) who picked us up on Sunday morning at the hotel. He was nicely dressed very polite and had a great personality and sense of humor. His limo even though old was clean well kept and everything worked. DON'T DO IT! I mean, not if you want a knowledgeable driver who has mapped out his route ahead of time, as they promise. Not if you want them to fulfill their contract and actually drive you until the specified time and not kick your mother out on a street corner in the city (because the driver didn't know where he was going and was more afraid of being late for the next job). Not if you want the contractually promised bottle of Moet to be a $6.99 bottle of Andre with the price tag still on it. Our driver was rude and just unsure of himself. He looked at the map on his phone more than he looked at the road. I mean what limo has to pull a U-turn in the South End, especially when you can just drive around the tiny block? Yup, if you were around that Saturday, that was our driver, who couldn't figure out the streets. Oh, and when he didn't see the groomsmen ready and waiting for him outside the church, he just kept going...because they were running down the street after him (they had ducked inside, where it was more comfortable to wait). Nope, he didn't stop, just kept going - obviously he uses his mirrors too! When you hire a limo, you should feel safe and taken care of, because the worry is supposed to be left at the door. Not with Celebrity, not a chance. Oh, I've given them nearly two weeks to answer me on my complaints about service, and that's right, nothing. They don't care. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I would give it zero starts if possible. I was extremely disappointed in the lack of communication, timeliness, and follow through on what was promised to me when the contract was signed: We began this process in June 2015 and wanted a 30 person bus that would include a red carpet roll out and champagne toast. I followed up on January 13th in which the owner said he had one passenger bus left for that date. The contract was signed by January 20th for a 30 person shuttle bus. On 9/1, the owner stated that the driver would contact us 24 hours in advance, which would have been by 2PM on Friday, October 7th. We were required to send the remaining balance ($1000) prior to the wedding. The day before the wedding, Friday, October 7th, my fiance called the owner at 530pm to confirm the pick up times because we never heard from the driver (which was agreed in the contract to happen). The owner told us: "the driver will reach out after he gets out of work". This never happened. Not only did we not hear from him on Friday evening, I texted the owner at 9AM the morning of my wedding to confirm the details (5 hours and 15 minutes before scheduled pick up). The owner "wasn't working this weekend" and did not help. You own a small business.. aren't you technically always working to keep clients happy? At 9:28 we received a call that our shuttle was in the shop for repairs. Why was this not taken care of earlier in the week and not 5 hours before the pick up? At 11:00AM I heard from the manager on duty (Brandon) after going over details, who was supposed to call my fiance to confirm but did not, that the shuttle bus may not be ready by 12:30PM. Yet again, why was this being done hours within a pick up time? At 1:38, Less than an hour before scheduled pick up, we were notified we would be getting two limousines, not the 30 person shuttle we agreed to 9 months prior. Although at technically "equal or greater cost", it was unacceptable. I discussed details with Brandon that the party at the Lenox would be myself, 8 bridesmaids, a photographer, and 2 parents. I ended up having to shove myself and my bridal party with the photographer in a too small, dated limousine and put the parents of the bride in a taxi cab. This is completely unacceptable. Let me preface, the timing worked out fine with the two limos transporting the parties; however, I DO NOT recommend anyone use this company. Especially for a wedding. I have used this this company several times and continue to be disappointed. Most recently we used them for my sister-in-laws wedding. The driver picked up the groomsman over 30 mins late which ended up delaying the wedding almost an hour. When the groomsman were picked up the bus smelled strongly like marijuana which is weird because you can't smoke on the bus so it seems like the driver may have been high. The driver was not helpful with loading, playing music or even turning on the air conditioning. read more

First of all, my driver showed up 40 minutes late and we arrived at prom super late.. not to mention there was a language barrier and I could not understand what was going on. The poles inside the party bus were sticky and it looked like it was not cleaned in several uses. After having this experience, my mom called the company and they have horrible costumer service. This is the biggest SCAM ever! These guys are set up to rip you off! They request the money up front and when you pay them since they got the money they can leave you anytime. I had a limo until 9pm and at 9.01 the guy called CHRIS who is supposed to be the boss was giving me shit about paying extra. The driver had no idea about the roads instead of enjoying the ride I ended up telling him where to go. His navigation was not working. the cars windows were not working. the music system sucked. And the next day I had a van rented and the woman who was reserving these on the phone told me that if we payed an extra 100 dollars we could keep the car until we wanted paying 15 dollars per hour tip. I ended up paying the extra 100 dollars and the car left without saying anything at 6pm. then counted the the 100 dollars as tip and shit. THIS COMPANY SUCKS! I wish I could give this company a zero and completely agree that this company is a scam. I used them for a bachelorette party last night, my best friends one and only, and thanks to them started the night on a horrible note by leaving late because they don't know how to keep their paperwork straight. They have nice buses and our driver was really nice however the owner treats customers like crap, they overcharge and never believe them when they say they will work with you on cost and finding you a smaller bus if you have less people. The company changed our time but never informed our driver because they waited until the last minute to actually change their paperwork and our driver was late. The owner tried to blame it on me instead of taking responsibility for the disorganization of his company, and when that didn't work said that it was the driver's fault. The owner's final solution don't tip the driver. We were even hung up on when trying to address the fact that they were late and we might miss the show we were going to. They treat their driver's horribly, they hang up on you when you are trying to address the problem and they do not return phone calls. I tried for at least three weeks prior to address the fact that our party was much smaller than anticipated (from 30 to 17 people) and to be worked with as told they would if our party size changed when we first booked the bus. They did not work with us. Phone calls were not returned and emails were not answered. Calling daily or multiple times a day does not get you a response. In all, extremely disgusted by the treatment of both the customer and their employees. A very unresponsive company who actually does nothing to accommodate their customers even when they say they will. and when customers are trying to get their concerns addressed you should not hang up on them. Don't do it! I booked them for a bachelorette party and I was so embarrassed. The driver was young but we tried to give the benefit of the doubt, but by the end of the night when our limo smelt like pot, the driver revealed he had pot in the limo. We were all really upset and concerned about getting home safely. I even emailed a complaint which stated you'd get a response from a manager in a week and never heard back. Absolute disgrace! Completely unprofessional, vehicle was late, dirty old and no working A/C. The driver called to have the issue rectified while we were at the concert and no one responded. The salesman Tom that I originally dealt with was a completely different person once he got his money, he was rude and unhelpful. The bus was about 90 degrees on the ride in 90 degree weather. It was miserable. Company is completely a farse and would rate it a zero if I could. The vehicle looked nothing like the picture he sent. We get into the limo and first, there were no glasses or ice as promised, second instead of air, hot air was blowing out, we were all so hot it was disgusting which requires us to stop several times to try and fix the problem which was never resolved. Our driver, who was the only good part about this experience, even tried to get another limo for us but no luck. When we contacted the company they refused to refund any money. First off I never Yelp, but this was such a terrible experience with a company I felt it necessary. Celebrity limousines AKA Entourage Livery Inc. (Curious as to why there are 2 different names hmmm). This company is beyond shady!!! We rented the party bus to go to a concert at the xfinity center in July of 2016. The pictures looked nice so...we were so excited for our fun night out. The bus shows up and 18 girls get on a bus with no ac and no windows to open besides the escape hatch. Then the owner says he will swap it out and upgrade us to to the Escalade "it's a $170k vehicle" well at that price you would figure it wouldn't smell like piss and a musty odor. Also, this vehicle was hot too! Spoke to the owner and if we didn't pay cash right then and there he told the driver to leave us...really great business practice. This trip cost us almost $2k. It was pretty sick inside, crazy lights, leather seats....This guy Blake also set us up with VIP at a nightlife lounge called Vanity. DO NOT USE THEM! I wish I would have read reviews for this company before we went with them for my bachelorette and my wedding! Like everyone else nothing but issues and they do not even care! the day of my bachelorette we received a different bus (in my opinion was not a better one it was just bigger) than what we contracted. It sucked but we made the best of it. Now on my wedding day when I get a text the morning of saying my 18 passenger bus that I contracted broke down at 3am and they could provide me with a Cadillac escalade instead I was livid! the reason I specifically got a party bus was so that I would be able to stand and not crease/wrinkle my dress which they were made aware of when I signed the contract. I argued on the phone with Brandon and all he tried to was sell me on " well its a Cadillac Escalade" let me tell you again if I wanted that I would have had it! it completely ruined my morning and I really had no choice what was I to do the morning of. so I dealt with and went to my wedding in a completely wrinkle dress and had a crease in the center where my corset was because I did not want to sit but had no choice! My suggestion to you is fix the current vehicles you have instead of adding more to your fleet which you are constantly doing! to everyone else DO NOT USE THEM! I wish I would have did this myself. Tom the GM called me a week before and LIE saying that the Massachusetts State Police refuse to allow this and that the rule was made yesterday and that I was "lucky" because they usually make that decision the week of the show. After some research (I live out of state) it was a standing rule and they KNEW! I then posted on FB about what they did and about 2 minutes later one of the "Owners" called me Brandon. He admitted that Tom the GM had lied to me and offered me a sedan for $50.00 more than our original contract! How does that compare to a 10 passenger limo to a 10 year old little girl? He then offered me a $150.00 credit towards a future service. I laughed at him and informed him that I was NEVER using their "service" again. He wanted to charge me $800.00 for their mistake! I decided to use Celebrity Limo for my friends bachelorette party and I instantly regretted booking it. As if planning a bachelorette party isn't hard enough, these people made it even worse. Their "VIP package" is complete CRAP. You can just call the venues listed on their site and book your own VIP. My VIP host Sabrina started out really helpful until about a week before when she was completely rude to me on the phone and informed me that she doesn't work in the office anymore..uhhh?! Chris was supposed to email something to me that night and I never received it. Then, Sabrina was supposed to email me something the next day, never received that email either. When I finally received the email, she got my info wrong in it about 3 or 4 times. I also began to realize that after I booked with Celebrity Limo Blake had called me and texted me a few times asking me to book my limo with them. Maybe a little communication within your company would be beneficial. Anyway, the night of was okay. Josh was our driver and he started out awesome until we asked him to take us to one bar from another and he informed us that we could walk there. I'm sorry, isn't the point of me paying $630 for this limo is to be driven to places, not walk there? Not only that but he got pretty rude at the end of the night. We were also pretty disappointed that there was no iPod hook up in the limo because they had to "switch out vehicles at the last minute". My wedding was a disaster thanks to celebrity limosine!! first off, we ordered a 30 passenger silver gmc topkick, that is not what they sent. They sent a white piece of crap with paint peeling off the sides, tint peeling off the windows, vomit in the front ice bucket, muddy tires, rusted wheels, chunks missing out of the rear tires causing a VERY dangerous and violent vibration on the highway. The list goes on, tv missing in the back, speaker hanging from ceiling, other speakers blown, etc... so that was the limo, now let me tell you about the service! the driver was 35 minutes late, VERY unprofessional, had NO GPS!!! was lost, did not have a clue where to go, almost caused a major accident by cutting off a car in a turn lane. worst of all, our ceremony at the church had to be cut in half, the wedding after us was late getting started, etc. 35 MINUTES LATE!!!....FOR A WEDDING!!! We tried to get reimbursed for what we spent, but celebrity just wanted to give us a certificate to use for another limo. UNACCEPTABLE! I would not trust my wife or anyone else in my family to get into one of their sh**box limos. This is the worst limo "service" that I had ever received! We took a trip to NYC with bunch of group. We ended up freezing our butts with no heat in the limo, the door was not well shut and had a huge air draft in those 4 hours trip! The driver was a such ignorant, as they wasn't prepared with which area to stop for rest area. If you want knowledgeable drive who has mapped his route ahead of time as they promised, that company is not WHAT YOU WILL WANT TO LOOK FOR. We also had to entertain the driver to keep him awake while he's driving us back home from NYC. The limo kept swerving frequently and it scares us. I felt they are not very professional and guarantee with their services. The time length of the trip in prompt timing was very disappointing as we had to sacrifice our lunch to catch the show as we were supposed to be there noon. But we ended up got there 15 mins before the show! I can go on with more complaints but my last word in overall, DEFINITELY NOT recommended! read more
