Celeste was nice and sweet to my elderly Lhasa/Shih tzu mix, Duncan, and by elderly I mean 19 yrs old. Duncan is fragile and has glaucoma in both eyes so he gets super scared and shifty if you touch him and he hates being groomed. Celeste was able to get rid of all his mattes and overgrown nails, (no one wanted to groom him because he's so old and frail so he was in pretty bad shape), he came back very clean and happy. She is very affordable too, and she picked him up and dropped him. I loved that she explained exactly what she did for him and she even gave me instructions on how to continue to keep eyes clean at home. I'll definitely use her again, and I would highly recommend her especially if you have difficult dogs. read more

I needed a mobile grooming option due to the current canine respiratory virus going around. The owner was late (I called to asked where she was) so I waited outside my house with my dog until she arrived. When she got there she said she needed a plug, which I misunderstood at first, but then she was rude and said she needed an outlet because she didn't have help to bring a generator. She used an outlet inside my house which I was shocked about. It would've been good to be informed that I would be providing the electricity for the service ahead of time or if she at least asked kindly. The service was around an hour from arriving to finishing with my dog. My dog's cut was uneven and his eyes were a little dirty. The experience would've been better if the owner was friendlier, more professional, or apologized for being late or needing to use my electricity. read more

Water was ice cold in December my cat nearly injured herself jumping to the ceiling in freezing water shock. I took her inside and bathed her in warm water myself. Even though she brought an assistant I had to assist. She was unaware her arm was pressing the other cats' neck on the hard table edge choking him. I had to bring a cat bed out to lay him on so he wasn't pressed on the table. Rough, foul mouthed, and rude. All her negative reviews she pays yelp to hide. In her text to me, she said "$80 Includes haircut bath nails ear cleaning gland expression and teeth brushing" and she never did nails, gland expression, or teeth brushing. What a great find for us and our pooch, SCOUT! Celeste was amazing. This after I had scheduled her to come by and groom scout in her mobile grooming trailer, and she told me the Alachua county Code Enforcement officer stopped at another job she was on and told her she was not authorized to do mobile grooming without the counties permission. So, still needing Scout to be groomed, Celeste said bring on to my house, we'll get him all done. Once there, I found Celeste to be very friendly, cared about scout immensely and did a great job grooming him. I learned that it was possible that other clients from a local competitor (who did not offer mobile grooming) called the county and complained. Celeste told me she had groomed many of the competitor's dogs because he was not open and the clients needed their dog groomed. Celeste seems to have a magic touch with dogs. I've read other owners who say their dog is shy or difficult, but Celeste seems to win them over. Charlie is one of those dogs. When we groom him, he struggles, cries, resists, and he's downright impossible when it comes to nail clipping. But he goes to Celeste readily, she's fast, I don't have to think about it, her prices are affordable, and Charlie is happy to see her. I am VERY SATISFIED with her performance. Worst groomer I've ever used. The trailer that she grooms in is dirty and smelly. My suggestion for anyone using her " services" just pop-in on her while she is supposedly grooming your pet. I caught her not bathing my dog. My pet happen to be noticeably dirty when I gave him to her and when she was finished with grooming him; he still had dirt on him. When I confronted her she said that he must've gotten dirty walking 10 ft. back up our paved driveway to the house. The hair cuts were uneven also. I don't expect perfection, but when someone blatantly rips you off I have to question their character. read more

It was great that they came to your home and had a trailer to groom your dog. The prices were good too. I just don't know what happened to our dog. She was shaved so close and I really don't know what happened with her anal glands but she couldn't walk for a week. She seemed to be in pain and just wanted to sit all of the time. I felt so bad for our dog. Not doing that again I have had my dog groomed monthly for over a year and nothing like this has ever happened. I don't care what you told me. I saw what happened to my dog and she was very uncomfortable for a week. Tried to walk her and she would just keep sitting. She did look very good but we didn't realize how she was until after you left. We were going to take her to the vet if it didn't stop after a week. We didn't have to. Just used Celeste for the first time for grooming my senior toy poodle and it was a great experience. He has a great summer "Miami" cut now- Pom poms on ankles and tail, long ears- she did a very nice job. It only took about an hour and my old pup seemed to like her. I have used other mobile groomers and had issues w razor burn on my dogs sensitive skin. Celeste handled him beautifully with no skin issues and he loves his new cool cut. read more

ABSOLUTE WORST!!!! DO NOT USE! Whoever is putting 5-star reviews is clearly not watching her groom their dogs. For starters, Celeste was over 20 minutes late for our appointment. She decided to text me AT THE APPOINTMENT TIME to ask for my address AGAIN, which was literally 3 texts above, as I already texted it to her several days before the appointment time. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Secondly, Celeste did not come to the door when she got here, but instead threw an extension cord up to my second floor apartment and said, "Plug it in." No "Hello, good morning" or anything to the like. Moreover, what made this experience so terrible was when I brought my first dog down to her run down, mobile trailer (which is about a 6X12 covered trailer with a free standing sink, a folding table, and a wall unit for A/C - which she didn't even turn on, so my dog was dying by the end) I said, "I think she has to go to the bathroom." at which point Celeste grabbed the leash from me, pushed my dog into her trailer, and refused to let my dog pee saying, "She can go after." I was furious. The worst part about this is that I spent over 30 minutes on the phone with this woman explaining to her that my smaller dog (the first one) was very difficult and afraid of water. I explained that she had been sent home once before by a pregnant groomer who could not handle my dog. Celeste assured me the both my 55lb mix and my (underweight) Great Dane would not be a problem at all! Well... that was not the case. I had to stay an help her THE ENTIRE TIME she bathed my 55lb dog, all the while, my Great Dane was upstairs destroying my apartment because I was not able to leave to come back up and crate him. Continuing on to this terrible service, I specifically asked if she did nail grinding because I have a small kitten that loves to play with the dogs and I do not want her to accidentally be cut by my dogs' sharp nails. She confirmed that she does nail grinding (and to my surprise, at no extra cost!) Well... that's because she doesn't actually grind the nails at all. I watched her spend less than a single minute on both of my dog's front paws and when I asked her to please do a better job, she huffed and puffed like her job was too difficult and barely fix a couple of nails for A LITERAL one more minute. By the time she was done with my dog's 5 minute bath, there were still visible dirt stains on her at which Celeste commented that it was because my dog chews on herself, WHICH IS NOT EVEN TRUE! When I asked her to try again, MAGIC, the dirt came off.... Coming to an end with my first dog, she did not use the blow dryer on her because "that was too difficult for her" (mind you, this is her career), but instead towel dried her with 2 dirty towels. Finally, I take the first dog to the bathroom (walking in dirt, soaking wet) only to track dirt into my now destroyed apartment. Moving on to my Great Dane (who at the time had just begun to gain weight after his adoption, weighing in at about 75lbs), I took him downstairs and let him go to the bathroom first. All the while, Celeste stared at me, rolling her eyes as if I was taking up her time. It took my dog about 60 seconds to pee, by the way. In any case, I did not stay to watch her bathe my Great Dane, but he was "done" in less than 15 minutes. She didn't touch his nails at all because "they were fine" according to her... THEY'RE FINE BECAUSE I TAKE MY DOGS TO THE GROOMERS ONCE A MONTH TO KEEP UP WITH THEM!!! And lastly... she didn't even expel my dogs' anal glands, so they had fishy-dog-butt smell until I took them to A REAL GROOMER. Trust me, DO NOT USE THIS LADY!!!! She is lazy, unprofessional, and quite frankly, rude. I only tipped because I am in the service industry. Wish I didn't.
