This restaurant has a nice relaxed and casual feel, with a pretty large outdoor seating area and a cozy interior dining room.
Service was good, efficiently and warm (and thankfully English was spoken).
Three of us sampled:
- Roast Pork knuckle: A large roasted chunk of pork, perfectly done and falling apart, so good.
- Cheese platter: A selection of local cheeses, all very good. Served with a sprinkle of maraschino cherries on top, which was a little unexpected but fun.
- Dumplings: We tried both of their options, meat and potato cheese. These were good and very filling.
- Fried pork chop: Pounded thin and fried, man that was good.
- Cole slaw: Purple cabbage, creamy dressing with a hint of horseradish I'd say.
- Pickles: Large bowl of medium-small cucumbers, nice and crisp.
Good food and a fun time, recommended if you're in the area.
