I contacted Cell Cycle about removing a carrier lock for my iPhone XR and though I was surprised that the storefont was out of his home as that was not in the details section, he responded to me within 20min. We quickly scheduled a time to meet and got me in and out within 30min. It's been over a week and the unlock is still holding strong. I'm certain this is a genuine factory unlock, other places wanted a few hundred to do it, he charged me $60. He told me the unlock was guaranteed which i look forward to never needing but is nice to have. read more

I met Aaron with Cell Cycle yesterday and he took customer service to the next level. He gave me an AMAZING deal on an iPhone to replace my lost phone and I was even able to trade in an old phone that I had laying around for a ever better discount! He went out of his way to let me meet him after hours on St. Patty's Day to get the "new" phone, since I was in need and took the extra time to ensure that it everything was up to par and that it in worked with my service provider. He even threw in a case and replaced my wife's tempered glass on her iPhone while we were there! Aaron is very responsive, knowledgeable and professional. Asked for phone repair (back glass and battery replacement) At first helpful but after I paid deposit there was a lack of communication and I had to contact him more then once just to get the ball rolling. Took almost 3 weeks for me to finally get my phone worked on. On top of that it took 6 to 7 hours to get my phone back after thinking I w got jacked! I contacted on many different platforms with no reply. I had to go to show up to his house unannounced just to find him and get my phone back. Now that I do have my phone back and repair complete...the new battery is worse then my old battery... read more

Aaron is super helpful! I was able to use a few of my old, cracked iPhones as store credit which made the deal worthwhile for me. He then sold me an iPhone that suddenly stopped working 32 days later, which he took back at full price and swapped me out an even better phone! This better phone had a problem with the Sim card carrier and Aaron paid for the service to have the phone wiped clean. I doubt any other used phone dealers would go to the lengths he does to ensure customer satisfaction. 5/5! read more

I'm not sure how this business has as good a rating as it does or if I just got screwed. I bought an iPhone 6 about 3 weeks ago now. I get to the house at Tropicana he shows me two phones try's to up sell me the 64, I ask to see the cameras work on the 16gb guess what front camera doesn't work so he ends up giving me the 64 gb. A day or so later it starts glitching the screen won't respond to touch so he has me go to this shop in Oceanside where they'll replace the screen and supposedly the issue will be fixed. I leave the phone over night and then pick up thinking it will be good to go. No it stops responding to touch again the next day. So I contact him again and he says he'll give me a different phone which is cool but at this point it's becoming a hassle. I go pick up the replacement phone and give him back the one that's not responding to touch only to find out the battery on this one has gone to shit and it dies at 92% after being off the charger for 5 minutes?! Anyways I've tried to contact this man for the last 3 days with no response at all ghost in the wind and meanwhile I've spent 180 dollars on two useless cellphones and wasted time and gas traveling to get a working phone. I am extremely upset but I guess this is the chance you take when making a purchase from a stranger from offer up and now I get to pay 40 more dollars to get a replacement battery. read more

SCAMMERS this place isn't a real business it's just some lady In her house selling faulty iPhones, I made the mistake of purchasing a iPhone XS MAX for $350 cash after I went all the way to Modesto and arrived at her house that's when the lady decided to tell me the battery had been replaced with a newer one which would have been nice to know from the start anyways it was BS anyways my mistake for believing her, you meet her in a room that has a concrete floor and nothing in it except a fold up table poor lighting didn't notice all the scratches on the phone til I stepped in the sunlight. On top of that as soon as I got home and charged it the battery drained in less than 45 minutes without being used. I told the lady then she asked me to call "Aaron" and provided a number I asked if I could instead just get a phone that didn't have battery issues she agreed so once I arrived at the house she had two options a very poor condition iPhone 11 and a iPhone 11 Pro Max which she wanted $50 extra for another mistake by me for giving the scammer any more cash once I got home with the "clean iPhone" I noticed it had Cydia on it and 4 other apps I didn't recognize BECAUSE THE IPHONE WAS JAILBROKEN BUT NOT EVEN CORRECTLY BECAUSE NONE OF THE APPS WILL OPEN NOW & EVEN BETTER I NOTICED IT IS CARRIER LOCKED. THESE SCAMMERS MAKE THE POST SOUND REALLY GOOD THAT ITS A "BUSINESS" & PHONES COME WITH A CHEAP CASE AND "WARRANTY" BUT COME WITH NO PROOF OF PURCHASE JUST A "BUSINESS CARD". SO OVERALL ITS PEOPLE SELLING CRAPPY IPHONES OUT OF THERE HOME. We did research before hand on the ecoatm system at walmart and there was no possible way the ecoatm would've gotten us a better return. I came to buy a gently used iPhone 6plus and ended up walking out with an Apple ipad Air 2 as well. The price was right, the service was excellent and I ended up getting a great deal on having them install protective screen covers on both devices as well. These guys took their time answering my questions and explaining how to use the devices. I learned what I needed to know so I could make a good choice on both devices--thanks to Martin. People that work there are very nice people and seem as though they want to help...but at this point I'm questioning if it's even possible. Lost my iPhone 6S Plus, went into the mission bizarre asking if they had any for a reasonable price...they told me they had one at their pch location just down the road. Next day I called to confirm they still had the phone, they called back after checking with owner at mission bizarre if they still had the phone for that price, told me yes so I went on down. After buying the phone I realized the Lcd screen wasn't responding, there was a white the bar at the top of the screen. I couldn't make it in until a day later (still not having a working phone) and they went ahead and changed the screen for me. First went to the bizarre thinking they were the same company, and they're not...super odd detail, but still cI thought, wow so easy!, this is how it should be. I got a case for the phone after they told me the last LCD display was defective. An hour after getting home, I realize the screen wasn't responsive AGAIN! Frustrated at that point I'm asking them what I should do, not really too much advice at this point... I decided to buy the 6Splus model for $60 more in hopes that I could be buying a nicer phone that may not be defective.... well now I can't hear my conversations that well. It sounds like someone is talking at the other end f the hallway. I've paid for a tempered glass screen, $15, phone was $300, been down there three times after..and still had to pay the extra $60 dollars to upgrade the model, and STILL trying to just get a dang phone that works how it's supposed to. I'm done being patient, waiting to see what these 5 stars look like that everyone else is mentioning...? read more

I have had multiple interactions with Aaron at Cell Cycle. I first saw his ad on the Facebook Oceanside exchange when my son needed a new phone. He purchased an iPhone from Aaron about a year ago and has had no problems with it. He said Aaron was a great guy. So, when my iPhone died, I contacted Aaron and he set me up with a used iPhone. He gives a 3 month warranty, which he does honor. I had an issue with the camera and he replaced it. He was available to answer any questions or issues. I contacted him a couple of days ago because I had an old laptop and couldn't transfer my iTunes music to my new laptop. I dropped off the tablets at his home and I got them back the next day. His prices are reasonable and fair. He is up front and let me know if he was contracting out the work, but frankly, I would have no idea where to go to get this kind of service.
