The bar top has old pinball parts encased inside it. There are also a few pinball games to play. We stopped for a quick flight and some food. We ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich. It was served up with pepper Jack cheese, onion rings, bbq sauce and remoulade sauce. The sandwich was delicious but the side of Mac and cheese that we got with it was like warm at best and dry.. next time we'll go for the French fries. Our server was fantastic, he had a great personality and checked in on us to make sure everything was good.

I saw a review wherein the reviewer complained about the decor, but come on...it's an historic hotel owned by individuals. If you want the corporate experience, go find a Hilton or something. Yes, it's old...but that's the charm. Our room was immaculate, the perfect temperature, the shower and tub were great and the bed was super comfy. What more do you need? We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again!

Every member of my family independently decided they wanted to stay in bed longer than usual. After two weeks of varied lodging across the west, that is not a small thing. This was, unanimously, the best place we stayed across 15 nights of travel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped -- no surprises, no deficiencies, just a well-executed hotel room that does exactly what it promises. The staff was excellent. Ms. Beach deserves a specific mention -- helpful, warm, and the kind of hospitality that actually registers after a long travel day. THE ONE CAVEAT Breakfast ends at 9:00 a.m. For road-trippers keeping late-night driving hours, that's early. We wished they'd stretch it just a little longer. It cost a bit more to stay here than the other options in town but it's worth it, in my opinion. Breakfast was well stocked with fresh waffles, cereal, biscuits and gravy, cheese omelettes, bacon, and more. There was an attendant managing the breakfast area the whole time who kept everything very nice and tidy. Our room was very comfy and clean. Upon entering, there was a bit of a dog smell, but we were staying in a dog-friendly room with our pup as well so it wasn't surprising. I have sensitive allergies to certain pet dander and didn't have any major issues. An allergy pill was just fine. We had a double queen room and it was much more spacious than we were expecting. It was a great setup for working from the hotel room without feeling enclosed. We'll be back on our next trip!
