i was not getting my confirmation codes anymore after the tower that services my home area had been…read moredown for a while so i went to the at&t phone store in canton, tx and was promptly greeted by NOAH. i told hin that i wasn't getting my confirmation codes and i needed him to call at&t toget them turned back on. i didn't know what department to contact and it would have taken me forever. he tells me that i need a new sims card. i tell him that a new sims card has already been put in just befote they went 5g and he tells me that i will get better conectivity with a new sims card. i tell him that connectivity is fine and that is not my problem. please just call at&t for me and get them to turn it back on. he takes my phone from my hand and says ok, let me have a look. he looks at some settings and then pops the back off and says that he isn't going to charge me for the new sims card. i sigh and think what the heck, he is the professional. he takes my sims card out and puts another card in. we sat there for 2 hours while he is on the phone with support and 3 more sims card later he hands me my phone back and says sorry. it is locked up and they do not have a code to unlock it. this samsung galaxy is a white list phone for 5g. now it is a paper weight. i am very upset. i want my phone back to working. i go back in a few days and he tells me that there is no sense in him trying to fix it . it will not work. i said that it was working when i brought it in and no more after you got your hands on it. he said that they had a deal and i could trade this phone for a new samsung galaxy that is an 800.00 phone but it will not cost me anything but i will have to change my plan by upgraging to unlimited talk, text and data. i have a much lower priced plan and it is all i need. they refused to do anything about my phone they incapacated and i have been a good customer to at&t for a long time. i will never set foot in yhay store again. i thought they wer an at&t store, they are a franchise and do not work directly for at&t.
