Cheetah really gives you more than what you pay for, if there are no classes they still assist you if you need help, you wont get that at your regular gym. But deep down, I also missed and needed that personal 1-on-1 encouragement from an instructor or doing classes that I've always gravitated to. Did a dry-run one Saturday morning just to get a feel and from home to this location, is a solid 20 minutes on the Bronx River Pkwy. Parking was a snap both times I was there. Located on Main St., Juan (owner?) answered all my questions and he in turn, took his time to be as specific as possible, a tour of the gym included plus a Free Trial class whenever I wanted. Perfect! Classes here an ultimate plus for me and that's what I actually loved right from the beginning: those good old-fashioned Toning, Bootcamp, Leg Workouts that really work for me plus Personal Training. And if you're into Zumba, they got that too. The following Saturday, headed down to Tuckahoe for my Free Trial Bootcamp class with Steven who made me work Abs, Arms and Leg muscles in a totally different way. Let me put it this way, the guy was professional, on top of his game and attentive! Man...I came out of there sweating bullets and loved it! I love their pitch and what these guys stand for- but because of my personal time constraints at the moment, the 20-minute trip is what I have to consider. But this is really a cool gym and the price (and attention) is right!

I bought one for a friend and I. Honestly we could not be more pleased! Staff is very friendly, Juan the owner is extremely attentive and helpful. This is not a huge fancy gym, instead an intimate gym where your trainer knows everyone in the class by name. They offer bootcamp classes, Zumba classes and even core classes. If your looking for something different from your ordinary gym experience try I train with Juan, you will not be disappointed!

The routine was clear, the music was bumpin, and he was very helpful making sure the exercises were done right and you were using the proper weights for your skill set. Location wise this is not possible to join BUT if I were closer it would be an obvious sign up. The facility was spacious, comfortable, good equipment, and a small shopping area. I was able to repeat a few routines in future workouts which is always great. I strongly suggest if you can to try it out and join. That workout was intense and through, and even though I was obviously the new girl the class was very welcoming in general.

Two showers and two restroom with amenities. There is parking at the back of the gym but it is first come first serve basis! Coaches and employees: most of the coaches that I attended so far are great. They motivate me and guide me through the workouts. Front desk were also nice and approachable. There is just one instance yesterday when I had my class. I came early and assigned myself for floor and number 5. I saw the list and it was just me on the list since I came early. I went inside the class sat on the rower number 5 and did my rowing. There is a woman not sure if she is the manager telling me "Mark, you are not there" I said "excuse me?" She said "you are Mark right? You are not there you are number 6" I politely said "oh ok I am sorry". I sat down on the rower number 6. And as soon as I did my rower a woman sat down on number 5 and her boyfriend on number 4. Now I know why she moved me. I certainly accepts if they will ask me to move, I am okay with it but telling me that I am on the wrong sit when in the first place you switch me is not right. It just turn me off and didn't enjoy yesterday's class. Class: the class in each sessions are different. I personally love 3G classes than 2G. The classes are very difficult but I always try to do it because I want to get my money's worth. Price: currently i'm paying $129 for 8 classes a month. For me it is not bad. I recommend orangetheory. Maybe I will try other locations.
