Very affordable with authentic homemade feel. I chose the sopes (3 per order) but asked for no meat, just beans and all the toppings. They were great, no complaints and at $60 pesos, even better.
Our server seemed rushed and didn't take the time explaining some menu items that we had questions on. Although not a long list of options, their menu has zero descriptions, just the main meal names- which depending on the restaurant, the preparation of meals can vary greatly. The tacos, for example, are 3 rolled fried tacos with toppings. She asked if we wanted them with consome/broth but she didn't explain that it was an additional $10 pesos (no biggie) and that the tacos would be served inside the broth! We assumed there would be a side cup of broth, not serving us some soggy tacos.
We wanted to get a description for a couple of the options but she just seemed annoyed and rushing us. It was our first time there so we had a couple questions. Perhaps different servers have better customer service or maybe that's normal, not sure.
I'd probably give them another try because they do have a lot of customers, so they're doing something right. read more
