Well they want .50 just for ice. Most of their people are absolutely rude to everyone. Zip trip doesn't charge foe ice and they ALWAYS have smiles on their faces. When we drove up, two large German Shepard's were barking and going nuts behind a wire fence. I like dogs and understand that dogs bark but when I went in the convenience store, the dogs were running loose inside the store. I'm pretty sure that customer's pets aren't allowed in the store, not sure why these dogs are allowed where food is stored. Seems like a problem in the making. But this isn't my main complaint. The store was is disarray as it is being painted. It looks very nice. I didn't see where the restrooms were so I asked the man who was working in there. This man was very rude and crude, he informed me, in no uncertain way, that the restrooms were for paying customers only, that it cost a lot to have a public restroom. I am a senior citizen, driving a nice vehicle and was dressed, business casual. I'm pretty sure I didn't look like I was going to trash the restroom. I was going to mention to him that I would to prefer to use the restroom before I bought snacks but his comment took me a-back and I just left and drove off. If this guy is an employee, he should be fired. If he is the owner, he should just close the doors and go find employment that he is better suited for where he won't have to deal with the public. I will never patronize this Travel Plaza again and would recommend to anyone reading this review to do the same.

The Fort. What a perfect name for this place. Is it a gas station? Yes. Convenience store? Double…read moreyes. Gun store? Well, yes. Liquor store? Yup. Craft boutique? You guessed it, yes. There's so much stuff packed into this building that you could really get just about anything you need. And then a few things you don't need, too! The employees are knowledgeable and welcoming. I get the feeling that they know everyone in town by name, but are still just as friendly with those us of who are just passing through.

This was in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic with as yet no available vaccines. Yet this was the only gas station that I remember in which all of the employees were "masked up." I'm speaking only for "Holiday Stationstore #470" at 1212 Mullowney Lane in Billings MT. I cannot speak for the rest of the stores in this chain. I was impressed that this gas station/convenience store seemed to go against the red state red tide anti-masking culture. And of course I always wore a mask when out in public in October 2020. Also, the price for regular gas was only $2.189 per gallon on October 2, 2020. No such luck with that low of a gas price in Washington! Yes, I know. I've been seeing these at Love's along my drive and they're definitely cheap - two for $3.33 or something like that. How could I not? The pump area was tidy with no trash. Long stick squeegees and that was helpful for removing the bugs and grime from the windshield after a lot of driving. I went inside and prepared my coffee. Good choices, a half dozen or so creamer flavors and several different types of sweeteners. At the hot dog roller, the buns area was well stocked and there was a combination of "ready" and "still heating" hot dogs available in multiple flavors. It was the basic beef dog today and points off because the cheese dispenser was out and the chili was almost out. The other toppings options were needing restocking. This needs some work. My wife's chicken sandwich had undercooked chicken, and the fries were cold. Don't waste your money. Eat the food that is in the Loves Travel Store itself. Loves needs to get rid of this Hardees or get new management for it.
