Again this is a good regional mall but if you want heavy duty shopping you need to head to SLC or Boise. But for Christmas shopping who want to drive. I think the the mall here has just about everything you would need. Except a decent food court.

This location took a step up a few years ago after Sephora in-store boutique opened. Ladies now have a great self-shop, low pressure cosmetics, perfume, and cologne shopping option in the mall beyond Macy's and Dillards. JCPenney continues to retool its image and is attempting to focus more on house brands / private labels. In my lifetime, their house brands have always been solid and at good or better quality than name brands.

I like the dollar days on Wednesday. I get there right when they open and yes, it is total chaos and everyone is throwing things in there, but that's how you get the good deal. Everyone has always been very polite. I've gotten some really good deals. I resell on eBay. It's a fun place to drop 80 bucks and get 80 items! I recommend coming here. The selection is always changing. You never know what you're gonna get.

The man at the register seemed to be saying something into his radio/earpiece. Not only that man at the register but it seemed the Security Guard (I'm guessing) who was at the self-checkout seemed to be giggling about something. Now I wish it was just me but I was having a pretty good day and it felt as if I was being avoided. The man at the register left and let a young woman take over. Seeing as I got there a little late to meet up with them to shop. We had gotten out of line to continue to look around the store to leave together. Moments after we got back in line the SG notified everyone that if we had left than X items we could go to self-checkout. Seeing as we did we went ahead and moved. The same thing happens the SG was laughing and seemed to be talking into the radio/earpiece and called over the Young woman to take over at the self-checkout. I confided in my sister and mother about it, they agreed that something was strange. So it was not just me imagining it. Needless to say, it was a horrible experience. The young woman was kind and I appreciated her kindness.

Tried out Fred Meyer grocery pickup. I have the app that says if I tried the pickup I would save…read more$20. I put my order in with discounts was $93.54. Next day just as the groceries were loaded in my vehicle, I was charged an additional $7.95 without explanation. I went into the store (is this convenient and saving time?) and inquired about the additional charge that I didn't authorize. They had no clue. The customer service representative called back to the grocery pickup service, they said that everything was fine and didn't have any clue about the additional charges. So I contacted Fred Meyer/ Kroger website. They asked if my bank put a hold on my credit card. No this is a charge directly from Fred Meyer. Several emails back and forth, not only to find out what the extra $7.95 was for, but how they are able to charge my credit card without authorization because that's the scary stuff. The last correspondence with Fred Meyer/ Kroger customer service asked for a screenshot of my order before they changed the price and changed me the additional amount. OMG, take this as a warning. If you're going through the pickup service, make sure that you are prepared for their deception and scam process to prove that they have the right to charge whatever they seem fit, at their discretion, and without your consent.
