I am extremely disappointed with the Customer Service at the Fred Meyer Pharmacy at 155 Northgate Mile Rd, Idaho Falls. I encountered an extremely rude, extremely unhelpful pharmacy technician there on 22 August 2026. When asked for his name, he grinned and said "Hugo." I don't know whether that is his real name, but it is the name he gave me. I will spare the unpleasant detail, but the encounter was unpleasant enough -- apparently intentionally, not just chance error -- that my wife and I have already canceled all of our current prescriptions and refills at this Pharmacy. Life is unpleasant enough, without pharmacy techs on power trips wasting an additional hour of my life for no apparent reason. Indeed, I think this might be the first time in my life that I may have been racially profiled by a customer service worker. I am leaving this rating here primarily because I think it likely that "Hugo" has provided similar customer service to other customers in the past, and probably in the future. Customer, BEWARE! And you don't have to accept such rude, inconsiderate service! Document and Report! And in truth, this is the second significant issue I've had with this Fred Meyer Pharmacy over the last several years. At the same time, I've had ZERO other problems like this with any other pharmacies in my entire life!! Tried out Fred Meyer grocery pickup. I have the app that says if I tried the pickup I would save $20. I put my order in with discounts was $93.54. Next day just as the groceries were loaded in my vehicle, I was charged an additional $7.95 without explanation. I went into the store (is this convenient and saving time?) and inquired about the additional charge that I didn't authorize. They had no clue. The customer service representative called back to the grocery pickup service, they said that everything was fine and didn't have any clue about the additional charges. So I contacted Fred Meyer/ Kroger website. They asked if my bank put a hold on my credit card. No this is a charge directly from Fred Meyer. Several emails back and forth, not only to find out what the extra $7.95 was for, but how they are able to charge my credit card without authorization because that's the scary stuff. The last correspondence with Fred Meyer/ Kroger customer service asked for a screenshot of my order before they changed the price and changed me the additional amount. OMG, take this as a warning. If you're going through the pickup service, make sure that you are prepared for their deception and scam process to prove that they have the right to charge whatever they seem fit, at their discretion, and without your consent. read more

went to the deli the blond hair women didn't know how to slice meats. she was SLOW!!! Not only was incapable for doing her job which is slicing deli meat and cheese, but she had difficulty putting the info into the scales. By the way I called the store manager and he said he would coach her. I asked him what he meant by the word coaching.... he said to coach her on her job. (he didn't say discipline or fire but coach), Okay she can't do deli work, but she has zero customer service. She was so slow my husband told this is the other things I need I am going to get a few things, and I'll be back. When he got back, he found out she stopped helping him and his orders and waited on the other customers. So, he had to wait another hour for her to finish the order. What a great place. thank God we have a Broulim's. We don't need to get our prescriptions there anymore Broulim's has a pharmacy. (my husband is diabetic, I have many issues, my grandkids always have something. Another word we are always getting meds at least 3 a week. We shop for a family of 5 adults and 2 children. They never have more than two check out lanes open. Always at least a 10 minute wait in line. When they bag your items they do with no regard to the products you have. They just the throw the items into bag with heavy items on top of products like bread or other crushable items. And they are way overpriced on their products. read more

Good place to find just about everything you need. From garden to clothing. The service is friendly in all departments. The food in the produce section is beautiful. The meat department has a good selection too. The store is clean, even the bathroom. Prices are a little higher than Walmart but worth every penny. read more

Aw, please, come on Fred Meyer! Once again it's senior day just before noon and there are only two registers open! Again. My husband had to bag his own groceries since there was no checkout help. Since he was busy doing this he wasn't able to ask the overworked clerk for the senior discount. Gee, thanks people. Kroger is the second largest grocer in the US. My son sent me flowers for Mothers Day yesterday. He lives out of state so had to use a delivery service. The flowers arrived and didn't look all that fresh, kinda of wilted. Immediately put them in fresh water. Woke up this morning and they are dead! Why would a floral sept not use fresh flowers for Mothers Day. When I called the floral dept, they said they would replace the flowers but I would have to pay the $20 delivery fee. I refused and was referred to her supervisor. That amount was over her head so l was transferred to customer service. Disconnected. I called back and got customer service. Passed on to store manager. Disconnected. I have up. My son spent a good amount on these flowers. How sad I couldn't enjoy them. I blame Fred Meyers floral for sending old crappy flowers. And then just giving me the run around. Terrible! I come to Fred Meyers go buy groceries on a weekly basis. They might charge a little more than some of their competitors, but the atmosphere, and the customer service are top notch. Today, on my way out of the store, I dropped a gallon of milk and it exploded all over the entry way floor. I went to the desk to see if they had a mop or something for me to clean it up, and they refused to let me. In fact, they had someone run back and get a new gallon for me, and sent me on my way. A gallon of milk only costs $2, but that kind of service keeps me coming back week after week. I love Fred Meyers! read more

I shop here all the time and usually don't have issues with the employees, but the lady who was bagging on lane 2 today 7/30/21 at 9:31 am (tall with light brown hair in a messy ponytail wearing a tie tie blue shirt and black apron) had a nasty attitude. An older couple in front of me kept asking if they were charged sale prices for everything which slowed down the line but I guess that ruined the bagger's day. I brought my bags towards the front as the old couple left and the bagger put my parsley and basil in a plastic bag and as I handed her my reusable bags she said in a snarky way "well I can't bag them in your bags if I don't have them" seriously? Was I supposed to ram through the old couple to give them to you? Have an ounce of patience. Then I said "well I couldn't get to you to hand them to you" then she says "it's fine" but is it really though? Your body language, lack of eye contact, and tone mean otherwise. Just because your having a bad day with another customer doesn't mean you take it out on others. Very unprofessional and disrespectful. Management needs to talk to her because one day she's gonna mess with someone that isn't gonna let her off easy. Check yourself. read more

The employees are so rude they talk down to the customers, they do not ever want to admitt that they are wrong about anythinganything. My experience with the Fred meyer store in idaho falls is an actual zero.... I have been in several situations with their imployees and management where they have personally harrassed me, completely ignored me. Made it to where I left half of my groceries at their store to get looted bybtheir employees more than likely. They said they would make good on their mistake toward me. But no just more and more drama, and lies and disrespect. No accountability. Specific emplyees have even went as far as making very disrespectful degrading comments to me and my kids to our face in frlnt of other customers. Almost everytime I have gone into their store in idaho falls there is a problem created by yheir emoyees andand management if youtry to get them involved. For most things, I find Fred Meyer way too expensive. But I do like the cleanliness of the store and the variety of fresh produce it offers. It's also a great place to find foreign foodstuffs that you can't find in other stores (since IF no longer seems to have an Asian market or ethnic food mart). It was at Fred Meyer that I was able to find red curry paste and Thai coconut milk (although Winco also has a variety of coconut milk). And when I had kids that qualified, I loved the ability to let my kids play in the daycare while I shopped. It made grocery shopping much easier--and Fred Meyer much more appealing (although I wish the cutoff age was a little older than 5). read more

When fulfilling pick-up orders, you may want to peel the clearance stickers off your produce before you give them to the customer if you're not giving them the clearance price. We stopped in to use the bathroom and get something to eat. I lost my appetite the second I walked into the bathroom. Out of 4 toilets three of them were... painted....to put it nicely and unflushed. I just don't get people. I just held it until we got to Jackson Hole. We walked past the soup bar in the hot case and nothing looked good. The hot case was practically empty. Mormon bashed by cashier in Idaho Falls ! While checking out at the register a cashier thought she needed to begin telling me why i'm wrong to be LDS (she knew i was because i shared with her in conversation the good news , and why i was so happy, that LDS missionaries can now call home once a week) She went on and on about how the missionaries are not protected by GOD, they get raped ( like i need to hear that with my daughter serving a mission now in a 3rd world country) and that means GOD does not love us and her words were "don't drink the cult juice" and she kept going on and on. I kept smiling but was appalled someone on their job would react that way. I left and called a manager right away. He was kind and said it was not ok. I'd love to hear back from them to see if she was apologetic of if she dug in on it. They did not ask for my contact information. I'm not likely to go back even though I shop there 2 or 3 times a week. read more

I love this store. They offer my kind of items. I especially love the quality of fruits, veggies and meat. You won't find better. The prices are not too high, in fact the few times I've gone to Walmart, I have seen that their prices are actually higher or the same. This place is great! Everything I need in one place. Prices are reasonable, and the location is perfect. I am sad that one of my favorite workers there seems to no longer work there. This guy named Vaughn always went out of his way to show me the aisle that I needed and was extremely courteous, even on days that were clearly busy. Referring to the Starbucks inside the store- yesterday, a girl named Heather was incredibly rude before I even opened my mouth to order. This was after about a 5 minute wait of her talking to another customer (also noticeably irate while talking to him) and even discussing her pay. She dramatically sighed before she asked what I wanted and acted like I was totally inconveniencing her because I wanted an iced coffee. It made me feel uncomfortable how visibly annoyed she was while making it. Kind of slamming things around and all that. As I was leaving, a couple other employees came from the back with some things so I'm not sure they were aware how rude she was to me. My boyfriend was behind me on his phone but noticed her bad attitude as well. If I see her there next time I will probably just avoid getting coffee there. read more
