I hadn't checked here before the first visit, and Krysie's review scared me. I was worried that it would turn into a bit of a "he-said, he-said" issue, and that I would be left holding the bag for a product that didn't feel like what I had ordered. Well in the 2 years since Krysie's review, something must have changed. The staff not only listened and responded well, the manager quickly moved to correct the problem and to provide a resolution that was ideal--he ordered better stock and had the print job prepared again. The print looks great and I think they earn high marks for professionalism.

I inquired about a dog that was on the website, was told to come down to do a meet and greet and…read morefill out the application. Got down there and they wouldn't even let me meet the doggie. They brought out a different dog and tried to get me to adopt it. They said the dog I was interested in wasnt "good with people". Which makes no sense because why would you say she was up for adoption?! They refused to even let me set up a time because "she's not friendly ". How would the dog ever get used to others if she is not allowed to even meet with possible adoptees? The ladies there, obviously volunteers that dont care; were dismissive since I dont want the dog THEY wanted me to take. Pet Refuge sucks and you need staff in there that actually WANT to be there and actually care for the animals. There were kittens running all over the place. I feel sorry for those animals.

St Vinnies actually cleans stuff before they put it out for sale, and the prices are great. The SR 23 location has a drop off shed in the parking lot, or if you want a receipt for tax purposes...pull around behind pet supplies plus and ring the doorbell on the loading dock.
