It's a nice office. Everyone is friendly. Very clean and well run. I went in to have them look at a bump on my face. A nurse practitioner came in, looked at it, told me it was benign and asked if I wanted it removed. I declined. Total time in the office, 20 minutes. Total time being seen, 5 minutes. Total bill, over $200!! No testing, no labs, no anything. She looked at it, and I left. YIKES!!! I won't be back. That is a bit ridiculous. I had an amazing experience at Dr. Hafeez's office today. (Center for Dermatology). This office has recently moved and is easily accessible and the building is clean and welcoming. Dr. Hafeez's office is on the second floor. As I entered I was greeted by a sweet, smiling receptionist. Our wait in the reception area was short, but enjoyable. There was a comfortable program on the television (and it wasn't too loud). My FAVORITE part of the reception area is the peaceful fireplace - it looks as if fire is coming out of ice!!! I was welcomed by a sweet girl who took me to a clean and comfortable waiting room. I explained my problem and was treated respectfully. The music and peacefulness of the exam room made me quite comfortable as I waited for the doctor. When Dr. Hafeez entered he also was respectful and willing to listen as I explained my problem. After a thorough examination he advised me of the results and how to treat it. He was just as kind and helpful as his staff. MAKE SURE THEY SHOW YOU THE CONSENT FORM FOR YOU TO SIGN. Short version - I asked for the grand total before my visit so I could pay for it. Went in for my visit and paid. Later I received a bill for $300 from another lab that Center for Dermatology used. When I called in to ask why I am being charged, they said it is on the 'Consent Form' that I will receive a separate pathology bill. I was never shown the consent form before my moles were removed and when I asked for a copy, it is blank and not signed or initialed. Detailed version - I paid $112 for first visit and the doctor told me to come back another day to remove my moles. I scheduled my 2nd visit but before that date I was told that I had a $175 outstanding balance from the first visit. It surprised me so I asked what I will owe for everything on my second visit so I wouldn't get any more surprise bills. The person in billing said they would get the total and call me back in an hour. After an hour I was told the next visit would be $360 for mole removal and biopsy plus the $175 outstanding balance which brings the total to $535. I paid that amount on the 2nd visit and now 3 weeks later I received a bill for $300 from a separate lab for the pathology that they failed to mention. When I asked for an explanation, I got a "sorry, we should have told you pathology will charge a separate, unknown amount". They emailed me a copy of the consent form they said they showed me but I've never seen the form before and the patient signature line is blank. 02/2021 - After looking up reviews for the pathology lab, this seems like a common thing they do. Make sure the Center for Dermatology shows you the consent form stating a separate pathology bill. read more

Dr. was very nice attentive and helpful. My only complaint is that I showed up at 3:10, for a 3:10 appointment and was not seen till 4:10pm. People who arrived after me were seen first as well. Not sure why this was, but took off a star because of it. read more

Office is disorganized. Made appointment for us to have mole surgically removed on a Monday (FYI they don't do surgery on Mondays). Then they rescheduled us for a Thursday. One hour before the surgery we got a call that they were not doing surgery that day. Not to mention that one person in the office and I negotiated a payment arrangement for work needing to be done and the office manager was insisting we pay upfront before the surgery in full. Dr is nice but office staff needs to get on the same page! Office manager would not admit to mistakes and come to a resolution. She said she would postpone the surgery until she investigated. Love Dr. Hafeez and the staff are great. He is a busy doctor. But when i go there he gives me all the attention, and does the procedure needed at that time. I do not have to come back. He is very friendly, knows what he sees on the body, and suggest options. To me he is worth waiting to see. Never really had a problem with wait time. My visit was very rusted the whole time. The nurse was unprofessional. when she got in the room and started examining me, she said happily, "Wow your a great candidate for this." I was getting checked for skin cancer. So not really what you want to hear. Dr Hafeez came in removed several samples off me. Didn't explain too much. when i asked him if he wanted to do a full body check. He said I could make another appointment at a later date. When I left the front was pleasant. About a week later the same nurse called and told me my results. Yes you have cancerous spots that have to be removed. It happens to be 3 spots. I asked, Ok can they all be done at once, She said yes but we will charge you more out of pocket. When I asked her why she said the insurance company pays less if done at the same time so we will charge you the difference. So I went to a different Dr. to get an opinion and they were very helpful. They also found other trouble areas on me, some right next to were Dr. Hafeez was. I also found out that the insurance pays in full for one spot and half rate for each additional. for my one visit to Dr Hafeez. it cost me 300 dollars. because the way they billed me it wasn't broke down so the insurance company didn't pay out. They also charged me a copay and found out through my insurance and second Dr. that my insurance doesn't charge a copay to see this type of specialist. So over all. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Hafeez to anyone. read more
