Wow, clearly there are staff who have had horrible experiences here, which is terrible. (I'm thinking it makes a big difference which unit you are on maybe?) As a family member, I can say my father has received attentive, excellent care. Peter, Ursula and Shantell, all nurses, are responsive, conscientious and hard-working, and respond sensitively to difficult behaviors. Heather Wemhoener you own me a big apologize. This asshole wanted more working hours so she set traps to get me out of this facility. She harshly criticized my notes because i wrote in a different way from her. Or because my first language is not English i dont write like an average American should write? And she sent emails to everyone in the building saying how bad my notes are. After I left the ceca, I realized how great I am as a dietitian and also I will be a successful Physician Assistant soon. I hope you stay there forever and suffer your mental hellness. Shame on you. CECA is a terrible place. Employees spread rumors all the time. Upper managements are aggressive and rude and racists. I was treated extremely unfairly in this horrible place. They make you feel bad. Glad that I left and pursuing higher education! YAY All the people need to walk out of this place for their mental and physical health!! I wouldn't even give a 1 star. All the five stars rating are from their employees. It's really unconscientious to recommend this facility to their friends and family unless they want their family and friends to suffer. read more

I had an encounter with an RN on 6/26 who says she's a manager named NARVIS. She has a messed up wig in the form of a Bob. She's African and works on WEST 2 FLOOR. I had a doctors appt and needed to leave early and unfortunately had no time to chart due to whomever the CNA was that gave me 5 hoyers and 1 1assist which is a lot and in addition to helping others who needed help. I was running back and forth all day and took NO BREAK at all which was okay because I was leaving early. Narvis demanded I come back to the facility with my 8 year old child who has health issues and I didn't not feel comfortable at all with that. She is VERY intimidating and will pressure you if you let her so I agreed and shortly after spoke to the supervisor who said I did not need to worry but I needed to get it done the following day. Today on 6/27 Narvis came to find me and told me during passing out lunch trays that because of me not coming back to the facility that I was not a women, I didn't have the mental capacity or character to work on her floor ever again. She kept waving her hands in my face infront of co-workers, the residents and family in my face instead of pulling me aside privately to speak with me. when I asked her not to put her hands in my face her response was "well that's what I do". She was VERY aggressive towards me and I did not feel safe at all! I was scared she was going to hit me or something as I have encountered some traumatic experiences. Shortly after this my shifts were canceled out of retaliation/discrimination. | will not be returning as a CNA to this facility. read more
