We began by taking the CliftonStrengths assessment and discovered that learning is one of my greatest strengths. He was very impressed with my high level of self-awareness. With a smile, John calmly listened as I led the discussion on the report. He recommended that learning is a strength. Embrace it. Also, John emphasized the importance of patience. He told me it took him two years to complete his psychology master's program. I discussed every career idea that entered my mind as I desperately tried to put the pieces of the puzzle back together again: lawyer, accountant, financial analyst, engineering, real estate, psychology, you name it. John never said I shouldn't do this or should do that. He said, "It's essential that we have a goal to work toward.
