I love that they do everything while you're waiting to get in a room. I had x rays then a CT scan, an ultrasound and bloodwork. By the time I got to the back the dr had all of my results. The Dr was honestly amazing. He sat down and wanted to know how he could help me and actually listened. He explained things so I could understand and didn't rush me. His bedside manner was the very best. I could go on and on about how great he was. His name is Dr. Bret Winners. My nurse was Austin and he was just as amazing. They were very busy yet took all the time Ì needed. I never felt rushed. Or like I was asking too many questions. Austin went above and beyond to help me and I so appreciate him! I wish I remembered everyone's name but sadly I dont. They all deserve recognition. All of the techs and transporters were also so kind and helpful. Truly amazing people work there. I hope they are all appreciated by management! They deserve it!

She came into my postpartum room extremely rude and hostile, didn't even smile, didn't even congratulate me. She was very condescending and seemed to want to make me feel intimidated based on her job title, once I even found out what her job title was after our altercation... She demanded to me rudely to turn my TV off because I kept asking her to repeat herself, even after my infant was crying over her and I couldn't hear her, I wasn't even aware she was the social worker because she did not state that, she must have used another term but I was unaware she was the social worker when she introduced herself and her job title to me, not once did she say "social worker". After she left I asked the nurse when the social worker would arrive and they told me that she was the social worker. Her name was Ganell? Or Janelle? I felt like she made decisions based off her own personal dissatisfaction and judgment toward me, and was extremely unprofessional and power driven, keeping me at the hospital and preventing me from being discharged as some form of personal punishment for not taking her attitude very well. I even overheard that based on her judgement; that I might have to stay until Monday, and the stress has been killing me, for reasons she kept me, she didn't even inquire about, or even ask me to explain anything regarding her own concerns. I came in Wednesday at 6cm dilated in active labor around 3am and have another child waiting for me at home. I've been here basically 3 days and counting and I feel like I am in a postpartum prison. I don't understand why they cannot continue investigating my case at home and let me go home. Even a lot of other staff members and nurses are confused that I am having to stay so long and were surprised that I was no longer able to discharge based off Miss Janell's orders and "discomfort" of me.

That alone made me feel cared for. I especially want to thank the nurse who received me this morning. I don't remember her name, but I will never forget her kindness. The medical team was professional, organized, and confident. Even in a highly technical environment filled with equipment, everything felt coordinated and reassuring. I felt safe the entire time. During my visit, I experienced excessive wait times, poor communication, lack of follow-up, staff behavior. What was most concerning was lack of communication. I understand that hospitals can be busy and that healthcare professionals work under significant pressure. However, patients and families deserve clear communication, respect, and timely care. In my case, I had to wait 3 days for an MRI after that their wasn't a care plan to follow up. I had to advocate for myself for proper treatment. I am sharing this feedback not simply to complain, but in the hope that management will review these concerns and take steps to improve the patient experience. I would appreciate having someone from leadership contact me to discuss this matter further. Thank you for your attention.

I was wondering at first and thinking how small is this area for parking to be a big of a problem. We came an hour early just to scout the place. They were not kidding. It's a big structure with lots of parking space but also full parking lot. Just like where I work.. it took us 20 minutes to find a parking space and was lucky to have it near the building where my appointment is. Reception wise, same as other Kaiser Permanente clinic or hospital I went to. In about less than 10 minutes, they called for my name and there's Ms Anna Lee and Mr Andrew receiving me warmly by the door. They brought me to my space and let me change into patient gown and Ms Anna Lee walked me through the procedure, Mr Andrew started my IV and I am very appreciative of him granting my request without questions. From there I already felt at ease and most of the questions in my head regarding the procedure were already explained. Few minutes passed and Mr Jonathan came in greeted me and introduced himself and took me to the procedure/sedation room. He also walked me through the things that will be done in that room. Mr. Cesar and Ms Kara were there as part of the team. Moments later, Dr Masters came in and explained to me what will transpire and ask me if I have questions. Procedure was done and all went well. I really appreciate being assigned to this team. They have exceeded my expectations. I was at ease and I have no doubts or questions during my visit. This is the quality of service I would like to have and also what I try to give to our patients as a healthcare personnel. Thank you so much to the whole team. Keep up the good work. :)

The parking situation has become very challenging since the hospital opened and there is often a bottleneck in and out of the free valet parking but that's just an annoyance. I have become increasingly frustrated by the time it takes to schedule elective appointments however. I was told I needed cataract surgery in June 2025. I didn't get a pre op appointment until 1/8/26. Recently I developed an issue with my scalp and wanted to see a different dermatologist than I'd seen in the past. His first appointment at that time (6/8/26) was at the end of September. I called the appointment line that day and made my request. I was told that there were no appointments available and they'd get back to me. When I followed through I was told I was on a priority list and they'd get back to me, which hasn't happened yet. I question whether any other HMO is better. I think they're great if you only need maintenance but, as you age, they don't have the invested resources to take care of my only growing needs.

Multiple myeloma:…read more There are a lot of questions that need to be answered by the tests. But that will unfold smoothly. I am a very lucky man to be on this voyage to to be cured of blood cancer/Multiple myelom at San Diego Scripps Grreen hospital, the best hospital that I've ever been in, not that i've ever been in a "Four Seasons resort" Medicare Hospital Supplement. Reportedly, an 85% chance of full remission in the U.S. for Multiple myeloma. That includes everybody in the world no matter what condition they are or their age. I believe that percentage is likely higher because of this Green hospital, the top notch doctors & nurses who selectively work there, and my attitude to have fun while I succeed. Foremost, the "food is to order" and medical service by everyone is fantastic. I've been on "order first"/" sight-unseen" steroids aggressively fighting this for a number of days before I even check in. Oncologist Dr. Bryan Pham was the initial point Doctor for me and is one of the many All-Star gurus of the team. He sat down and hugged me. He knew exactly what to do from the beginning. I love him. On my very first visit to Dr. Pham, he did a bone marrow biopsy. It did not hurt too bad because everything was numbed before the procedure and until the first night. That night was the most painful night of my life once the numbness wore off. That's okay though because they have meds so you survive. I was never worried. Before he stuck the needle into me, he asked me what kind of music I wanted to hear ("Mr. Chin," by the beloved albino Jamaican legend Yellowman" who survived jaw bone cancer in the face) so the biopsy would be relaxing.. Dr. Pham thankfully fast-tracked everything. The wizard, the genius, head hancho Dr. Dimitrios Tzachanis, MD, PhD, magically runs things. "Dr. T" makes you feel you are so fortunate to be among such a mystic, amazing grasp of the overall medical effects and chronological steps. Dr. Michaela Miller "Doctor of the Month" is primarily among other Superwomen doctors who all work with each other and make sure that you get successful anytime treatment and any necessary appointment on the spot at the hospital as soon as possible; it doesn't matter what time of day or night. Noor Qaddour, DO, and Bijan Roshan, MD, carefully show up with hands on in places you nay not think, e.g. lab, kidneys. More necessary checks and balances! There are so many good doctors and nurses, I'm blown away. There are so many top notched medical specialists, I don't know where to stop. They know who they are. They work at Scripps. They are my heroes. Of course, I would have never got here without my wonderful wife or cat. My cat Butters saved my life. Over a week ago I was petting my cat. Then he decided to pick up the love by digging his claws into my wrist, which resulted in a blood poisonous bruise which was clearly infected ( visible to my wife), leading to an emergency room trip to a Motel Six style hospital / hotel. When we walked in, a man was yelling that a truck ran over his foot. I was messed up; I needed to switch hospitals. Everything was properly addressed at Scripps. I have been and will be continuously treated until cured. I have a very positive and fun attitude, a must. I have simply continued to do as told. I have Multiple myeloma (requiring apx. 7 radiation treatments) plus easy-to-do chemotherapy, treatment of cancer lesions in the back, possible bloodclots (which is why I wear compression socks and take a blood thinner, improved kidneys, and important procedures of anything needed on every level. We're winning. It's not gonna be easy or a quick fix. Good things in life take work and time. No pain no gain. The Doctors feel good about where we are now. I am extremely satisfied and feel blessed. I can't say enough. They really care about their 1st class "modern medicine" treatments. The doctor came in and thanked us for being good patients. The doctor always looks at my wonderful wife because he knows she is the one he can trust. She is spearheading this positive direction. I am trying to have fun. If I could just make one person laugh every day. I will.
