Once I caught my little guy who was in hiding as cats do, I wrapped him in a towel and got him to them in record time. We were immediately roomed, and had a vet tech in with us in 2 mins or less. Dr. Doug was in with us in under 10 mins, and he was so gentle and efficient. In @ 90 mins he had assessed ,anesthetized and surgically repaired and medicated my cats nasty degloving injury. I am so impressed by this clinics professionalism, skill,and compassion for both pets and their freaky people. I think my animal family has found its new home. Every single person I've dealt with has been so sincere and kind and responsive.I work in human health care so I can read between the lines, and this is a healthy practice. I look forward to healing my cat with Lucky Pet. UPDATE: It's been a month now since my cat got hurt. We've been in to Lucky Pet 10 or more times since his initial injury. Every single member of the staff ; techs , office managers and vets have been utterly amazing, compassionate and professional through this entire process. At this point I've been to this clinic with Izzy in one month more than my previous 3 animals have seen any vet in the last 8 years combined. They are truly good people.

Despite being listed as open at 8am, it's rare to get anyone on the phone before 8:30 or even 8:45. They close early randomly -especially on Fridays- and are closed midweek, making access to care incredibly difficult. When I called about an urgent medication refill for a condition that can result in serious bleeding if untreated, it took them 4 days to get the medication ready. That kind of delay is unacceptable and dangerous. The front desk staff consistently fail to take accurate messages. I've gone in multiple times to pick up prescription food or medication (that I called ahead for and they confirmed it would be ready), only to find that they have the wrong items, or nothing was ready at all. It's a waste of time and shows they have zero attention to detail. This kind of negligence is not only frustrating - it's incredibly dangerous! There have been times I was told they were open but couldn't schedule an appointment because they had no vet in house that day. If you don't have a vet in house, why are you open?! Even for urgent issues, they routinely refer you to urgent care or ER, rather than taking responsibility for established pets in their care. The urgent care clinics they refer you to don't open until 12 and are by appointment (unless you are willing to wait all day and possibly not be seen because appointments get priority- would have been nice for them to tell me that prior to suggesting I go there). And if you want to speak with a vet directly? Good luck! Getting a call back from an actual vet is impossible. Last time I requested to speak with the vet concerning an ongoing issue with one of my pets, it took THREE WEEKS to get a call back. By that time, I had already sought care from another vet. This clinic is DISORGANIZED, UNRESPONSIVE, LACKS ACCOUNTABILITY, and the urgency and professionalism that pet owners and their pets deserve. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you value competent, attentive care for your pets that also prioritize your pet's health-and your time- seriously.

They arrived on schedule and spent plenty of time with my senior cat, conducting her annual exam, administering vaccinations, and drawing blood and other fluids for lab tests. I received a call the following day with the (favorable) test results. They will be my feline's primary care providers for the foreseeable future. P.S. You should be aware that by definition, many mobile vets do not operate a brick-and-mortar clinic. York Bark & Play makes sure all of their clients are up to date on immunizations. Their facility is very neat and quite roomy. They offer many options for my dogs stay, including hours of socialization. My girls had to stay over an extra night and York Bark & Play had no problem accommodating them. When I picked them up, they were freshly shampooed and relaxed. They were tired out from all the socialization! When we pulled into York Bark & Play a couple of weeks later (just to see how they'd react) they got excited. A place they are happy to go must have treated them very well indeed.

My regular vet moved too far away so I've been looking for a new one and I brought my cat here for…read morethe first time I was happy to hear the first office visit is free. (I should've known better than to fall for that because nothing is free at a vet.) I brought him for possible crystals in his urine. I was seen by Erin Forbes and a tech. I explained what was going on and after a few minutes of listening to them I let them both know my cat is very sensitive to loud voices, hoping they'd take the hint. (Especially in a cold echoing room that smells like other frightened animals.) And I could see on his face that he was totally freaked out. Well they just kept on talking as loud as they were before. I mean, it was even loud for me. But not even a HINT of talking even a tiny bit quieter to make him more at ease. I can see not being a people person (which Erin Flynn definitely is not) but as a vet, shouldn't you at least be an animal person? Isn't keeping them calm sort of the first thing you'd do? So she recommended a urinalysis which is done in-house and that usually means it's a bit more economical since it doesn't involve a lab and sending it out etc. When they brought him back in he FLEW into his carrier (normally he likes to check everything out and hops onto things to see what's interesting) The results came back and no crystals. (Although she did recommend an additional $250 test that was not really necessary but still looked at me like I wasn't taking care of Puddin' and sort of threw her hands up saying "Ok. Your cat" So in the same LOUD VOICE, she told me that he needed to lose weight (he is not a fat cat. He's 12 lbs and a fairly large frame.). She said all cats should be 11 lbs. She gave me a few anti inflammatory pills (which I have no issue getting in them) Then she mocked people for not being able to do this. "You just grab them and shove it in. Easy". (Seriously?) and went on to talk about people like they were idiots for not being able to do this. Then she told me she had to laugh about when I said Puddin' was scared of really loud voices and that she and the tech were the "loudest people in the office." She actually laughed about this to my face! At that point I just wanted to get the hell out of there. She was STILL being incredibly loud and I was just done. When I went to pay the bill, that in-house test (that is normally around $100) plus a few pills was a total of over $300. That's just insane. So this is where they make up for the "waved office fee". That, to me, is a scam. And when I asked about the cost and why it's so high, the front desk said "well I have to clean the machine etc". Umm. Ok. Well isn't that what you get paid to do? I know that he prices are nothing to do with them but they really need to come up with a better explanation than that. I just looked on the site to see what the vets name was to include in this review (ERIN FORBES) and she's not on the list of vets anymore. So maybe she left. (And this was only 2 weeks ago) Maybe there were other issues with other customers? Who knows. But I found her to be judgmental,, cold, obnoxious, condescending, dismissive and yes, very, very LOUD. This was not just a bad day. This was just her. And I will NEVER be back here or anywhere she is at. Worst vet I've seen in decades.
