The trail had some hills but mostly flat. Luckily there was plenty of shade along the way. They have a station where bike riders can work on their bikes and if they need to put some air in the tires it has an air pump. Next time I am bringing my bike. Came across plenty of friendly riders sharing the trail.

The playground is ADA compliant and the dog park is in two sections. One section is for dogs under 35 pounds and the other for over 35 pounds. They have a waste station and plenty of room to roam. You only need a permit to gather if you have an event with 50 or more. The park has access to the South Lake Trail and clean bathrooms. Their normal hours are from 7am to 7pm.

This is for sure in our top three favorite parks now!…read more It's tucked back behind Sky Zone, so it's quiet and has plenty of trees to shade it perfectly and allow for a nice breeze. The play structure is huge and offers so much to engage with and use imaginative play. There are multiple slides, as well as a few different areas with plenty of swings. We easily spent a few hours and didn't know the time had passed. Lots of space to run, jump, and climb. It is all very sturdy and safe, as well as clean.

We've had multiple birthday parties for our kids here and attended others. The covered Pavillion with bathrooms is excellent. They had plugs for the crock pots full of food we brought. It's maintained daily, something I found out the time I arrived at 7am to sweep and blow leaves away and clean the tables. A lady showed up after I was done to do all that and thanked me instead. Oops! Oh yeah, then there's the huge playground. My kids have loved this place and all the wooden things to run around, through, up, and over for ages!

I was accommodated for 1 day because somebody else had booked the next day. I didn't last too long because there was a roach inside the tent and call me bougie but I've been in the military and never seen a roach inside a tent but like I said I've never been glamping so this was new to me but I did enjoy the tortoise and the beach! As we were asking back we saw a lot of them in the woods. They were beautiful. This preserve has a lot of different events from 5k walks to live music.

A sweetheart from the group arrived at 6 am and was able to secure a nice pavilion on the lakeside, adjacent to the restrooms and across from plenty of parking. The pavilion come with a grill (we didn't use) and a large trash bin nearby. The area had a few trees around and was nicely shaded, this made the combination of good weather result in a really good experience. There is a nice trail for walking, hiking and cycling. Near the parking, there is a play area for children and a fenced dog park area. Overall, I thought I had a good experience and think that it is a fabulous area. I do hope to get back out here at some point in the future.

We picked up the trail at the Killarney Station and rode through to Minneola Trailhead Park. The views are beautiful and we appreciated all of the areas with trees that helped keep the heat bearable in the afternoon. There are a lot of sections that intersect with the roadway so you have to stay alert and possibly not have very young children lead the way. There were lots of people on the trail when we visited and everyone seemed to be mindful of each other.

Next to the park is a community center that can be rented out as a venue for special occasions. The playground has a great rock climbing wall with different degrees of difficulty to inspire a wide range of ages. There is a huge rope web that allows for lots of crazy climbing. My grandson had lots of fun maneuvering up, down and side to side within the structure. The main area has a couple of slides and other options for play. There is a row of swings for both infant and older children.
