Honestly, I'm not into antiquing, but I was impressed with the amount of items on display at Grist Mill Antiques Center. The place is jammed packed ! We must have spent at least an hour inside looking around, and we did so at a pretty brisk pace. I know my Father-In-Law is planning to come back with my Mother-In-Law in the near future, I'm sure she'll find some treasures there. read more

I love antique booth stores. I enjoy them more than thrift stores because it's a great curated experience and with that I expect to pay more at these places than thrift stores, which I'm totally okay with. However, this antique booth store was one of my worst experiences. The prices were rather high and I didn't see booth sales that are often at other places. I could get over that though because if I see something I want im still likely going to get it. The problem is seeing something I want because you can barely move in the store, it is hoarders central and every little inch was taken up and sometimes to the point the booths were unnavigable. The shopping experience was not pleasant and left with nothing and drove 30 mins plus to antique marketplace in Hammonton nj and had such a better experience and left with bags full of stuff. I will not come back to this place. read more

Grist Mill Antiques did NOT disappoint- I found a few pieces I was looking for, but also enjoyed seeing all of the beautiful dinnerware and antiques. Wide variety of items. Like any antique store, you find the gems in the search. Found a gorgeous tiffany lampshade. Def worth the visit

You could go through this place a hundred times and still not see everything! As a warning though, this shop is not suitable for those permanently bound to any type of chair. Luckily, I can do fine with a cane, and I had my partner to lead me through the more treacherous areas. Though don't let this keep you from visiting - the ladies that run the place are very kind and sweet - had lovely conversations about needlework with one of them. The place is packed with all kinds of treasures - something here for everyone, really. I found a few things of interest - including a decorative thimble, which will be the first in what I hope becomes a collection. Even if you live a bit far away, it is worth the drive - just watch your feet and make good use of your eyes because you might miss something that is meant for you. read more

I would like to think that when people discover gold, they want to brag about it, share, scream for the entire world to know. Yet no one has done this for Grist Mill. What's wrong with you people?! I visit their sister store in Haddon Heights, so I had to figure it would be comparable. Let's face it, Pemberton is in BFE but on one morning I made the trek out into the farmland to see what this was all about. Grist Mill is the real deal antique store. A huge, two story house that is absolutely jam packed from wall to wall with goodies. Good stuff, not a bunch of chincy, overpriced junk. I was glad I brought a water bottle, a snack and my headphones. Slop on some of your favorite music and go to town. I spent hours in there, a good 3 and I actually found some pretty amazing loot for my oddities collection. The staff is always super friendly. If they see you have something in hand they take it off your hands and make a little stash pile for you by the register. Trust me, you will need both hands and if you bring an extra pair of eyes with you even better! Your friend may see that vintage ouija board you were looking for that you seemed to walk past. Price ranges are from affordable to pricy. It just depends on what the item is really.... but in comparison to a lot of antique places, I would say the prices are very fair. I highly recommend you have a lot of time on your hands if you plan on visiting. A good 2-4 hours cause I have been there several times and there is no such thing as a drive by visit. No way. Go! This place keeps no records. They do not read their emails. They have no idea who they are taking consignment items in from or who buys these items. In my opinion, this place is a perfect laundering operation for stolen goods. read more

If you have costra phobia or children stay clear this place. It is so cramped that I was asked six different times to move out of the way just so I could pay for my purchases. As if that was not bad enough one of the floor walkers stayed with me every minute to make sure I was not stealing. And last but not least the prices are sky-high everything I looked up on eBay was half the price. Not one booth had a sale of any kind I won't be going back there anytime soon. read more

Walked into Grist Mill and was not sure where to start. It is packed from the door to the floor to the ceiling. There is an upstairs as well. We were greeted by several older women throughout the store and our visit. All very friendly and nice. There are many different vendors and booths throughout but to be clear 90% of the place is glassware/dinnerware. The rest is kitschy Knick knacks and other odds and ends. Also everything seems very expensive. Saw several items I have seen at other antique shoppes for 2-3x's the price. We walked out of the place having bought nothing and prob will not return mainly due to the prices and amount of glassware, which is not something we are into collecting or buying. read more

I was very disappointed today with the reception I got at this store. After spending a lot of money here over the years, I will not be going back. I wanted to purchase a Victorian table-generally in very low demand-for a price 2 weeks ago that was 25% off. I have a picture of the store with a clearly marked sign "SALE 25%"...only to be told it's only on garden items. The saleswoman said to get a coupon from somewhere or get on the e-mail list to find a sale?? The store is clearly marked for a 25% sale. I certainly would not pay more today than the price 2 weeks ago but the staff would not budge. Sorry never again-you have now lost 3 customers. read more

Lovely antique store - There are two floors to explore, filled with so many treasures. I could have spent all day browsing. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the employees, Flora, who was a delight. The woman who welcomed us was also very pleasant. I am very excited to go back and look around some more! This place is amazing! I am only sorry that my husband and I discovered it towards the end of our day. But we were not too tired to spend 2 hours in the place. I have NEVER seen such an array of beautiful treasures in one place. And imagine my surprise when I discovered the stairs leading to the second level. i accidentally found this place wile out exploring one day. when i walked in i was pleasantly surprized. this place is big, with a ton of antiques in it. a fine mix of large,small, expensive and not expensive antiques crammed into a large 2 story building. it is soo worth the drive for me to go there, one simply needs a couple hours to explore this gem of a store.they carry furniture to knick nacks to stuff and things. if you like a crammed store where you need to actually look at everything closely cause there is just soo much to see then this is definately the place to go. read more

Most deceitful, rude, unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. She literally attempted to hold (steal) an item that I left there on consignment unless I paid her $360! I'm 100% with the first reviewer. I can't believe more people aren't raving about this place! It's such a fun little store! It's filled floor to ceiling with everything you can imagine. No one should enter this place without finding at least one item that either intrigues them or that they want to take home. You may have to dig a little to find what you want, but it's well worth the search and there are some great finds to be had here. And just a quick mention for anyone wanting to complete their pattern: the upstairs is packed with row upon row of fine china. This place has everything from primitives up to mid-century, kitchenware, glassware, oddities, toys, etc. Go check it out! read more
